Aura Hotel Times Square in New York

Extremely disappointing stay at Aura Hotel Times Square.
Our toilet wasn’t cleaned and towels weren’t replaced on one day and housekeeping was completely missed the following day. We arrived at our room at 11PM and found that we had zero clean towels. We contacted the front desk and were told new towels would be delivered and that the used towels and trash would be removed but only the towels arrived, and nothing else was taken care of.

What made the experience worse was how unhelpful the front desk was throughout the situation. There was little urgency, poor follow-through, and no real effort to resolve the issue properly. At checkout, we were told a partial refund would be issued, only to later be told that nothing more could be done because the booking was made through Expedia.

The compensation offered didn’t even cover the cost of one night, despite multiple service failures during our stay. The lack of accountability and poor communication made an already frustrating experience even worse.

In addition to this, we had to call the front desk over 10 times to be able to get a response from them multiple times.

For a hotel in this location, I expected far better service and professionalism. I would think twice before staying here again. Save your money for a property that actually cares about your stay.
