The location is great, right next to Times Square, which is super convenient. The room size was decent, especially for New York standards. Facilities were pretty basic but clean. The front desk staff seemed impatient, but the doorman was very welcoming!

It's a great location for tourists, the rate is quite high for what the hotel offers. Fitness center is a great size and I was more impressed by the fitness center than the lobby. I expected more Christmas decor than just the tree. Beds are comfortable, pillows are not. Front desk, Francisco is fantastic and treats you like a premium guest. Breakfast is mid for a buffet that costs $30. Even my niece and nephew couldn't eat their pancakes. The bellmen are always smiling and so helpful and sweet. The customer service is better than the rooms tbh

A perfect room for a reasonable price is all but impossible to find in NYC. This is as close as it gets. We come to NYC multiple times a year. While this hotel isn't perfect, you really can't beat the spacious rooms, gracious service and easy access to transit. Every time we stay some place else, I think "It's not as nice as the InterContinental." For comparison, we have stayed at various Marriots, Westin, various Hyatts and various independent hotels. Hyatts are good value; the InterContinental is classier and substantially more spacious. If you have young children, you may find it valuable to know that you can fit the cribs into the bathroom, making for relatively easy naps while older children watch TV. The Times Square area is chaotic, loud and close to Broadway shows. If you don't scare easily, you can't beat the subway transit options. You can get anywhere in the city pretty easily from here. I love that you can walk to Bryant Park or Central Park from here, although Central Park is a trek. As a local, I always avoided Times Square. As an expat, I appreciate its advantages and tolerate its eccentricities. There is a good coffee shop next door, although that is relatively easy to come by in NYC. The real selling points here are the spacious rooms and friendly service. This hotel has good work culture, and it shows. The local dining options are lackluster, but easy transit makes up for this fault. If you plan to go to Broadway shows, you can't beat the convenience of Times Square.

The rooms are clean & comfortable. The staff were all very friendly & greeted us when we passed.
The greatest jewel is JC, the concierge. She is very connected & will help you have an outstanding time while you’re in New York City. She knows all of the people to get you the best seats for theater, activities, and dining. You don’t have to be a guest at the intercontinental to have her help you. Just step inside into the lobby and her desk is right there. You won’t be disappointed when you get assistance from JC.

We checked in to intercontinental for a 4 day family trip. The receptionist are so friendly and checkin process is so quick. Intercontinental is right on 44 street and 10 mins walk to times square. Very much near to central park and other restaurants.
Every day Room service., porters are helpful.
The breakfast buffet here is good., though some items are routine. They could have change it so people staying for couple days wont get bored with same items.
Evening bar was good with free nuts for munchies.

Although it's quite expensive, the location is incredibly convenient. The subway is just 50 meters away, and Times Square is a 5-minute walk. There are plenty of small eateries and a supermarket nearby.

I would not stay here as it is overpriced and I had a terrible experience. I asked for an upgrade as I was eligible for one with Fine Hotels and Resorts through AMEX and the front desk told me it would be $150. Then, we took the standard room- no upgrade, we were sleeping and at 6 AM someone opened the door our room. I screamed as did the stranger. I called down to the front desk and told them I did not feel safe as a stranger had awoken me from my slumber by entering into my room. She said "sorry we don't have any rooms available." After one hour, I was finally told by the manager that they had accidentally assigned my room to another guest!
She profusely did apologize but I am confused as to how this would even happen! She offered to NOW upgrade us, so we packed up and got a. corner junior suite that was just average (just a slightly bigger room with a view). That same night, we asked for complimentary water bottles and the front desk refused to give us any, stating we weren't eligible even though we have Platinum status. The front desk told me that was not a part of the eligibility - even though it clearly states that you can get an upgrade if available as well as water. Overall for a 5 star hotel, I am sure your money would be better spent elsewhere.

The hotel's location is great, but the facilities are quite old. It takes about 10 minutes for the hot water to kick in after running the cold. The hairdryer was broken and needed to be replaced. Basically, the location is the only good thing about it; there's not much else.

In my opinion, this place is a little bit over-advertised though food looks and tastes really good, not too pricey.

- variety of shakes and other sweet drinks.
Be prepared to wait for half an hour to find a seat, you always can eat standing, but sometimes even these spots aren't available.

Very nice place. Is big place. They have table service. The staff is very fast and nice. Usually pack in here. The lines are huge always. The food is amazing love it. The train is right in the side. There's a few stores near by. They have bus service across the street. There's hotel nearby. Is a neat place. There are other restaurants nearby also. U can bring your kids. They sell cheese burgers cheese fries bacon fries and shakes and lots more. I really love they bacon cheese fries delicious. If you want some fancy fast food this is the place to go.

Shake shack has, without a doubt, the best burger for its value, and could easily give many of the more expensive gourmet burgers a run for their money. The patty is fairly thick and absolutely delicious and not overcooked; the veggies are fresh; and the sauce is a fun add to the burger. I'd highly suggest adding cherry peppers as well for a small added kick. The new shake shack app is especially useful to avoid the confusing line that always exists.

Shake shack burgers have to be some of my favorite burgers ever. The meat is tender and flavorful and the ingredients feel fresh. I also really enjoy the crinkle cut fries. The shack burger is a must try in my opinion.
This location, however, really isn't my favorite. It's incredibly busy and while that is understandable considering the location, it really isn't a great experience. It's quite hard to get a table and you kind of feel rushed to eat quickly by everyone standing around the tables wanting to get a seat. I say definitely go for takeout if you can, you'll enjoy your experience a lot more!

Very nice place with awesome food. It can be very crowded during times of 12noon to 3pm and 7pm to 9pm. Besides that the cashiers are fast with orders and the crew are entertaining and friendly

So I went in and I picked the slice that looked most delicious. And it was delicious, no doubt! Yum! But it was $6,50. For one slice. Isn't that... kinda unethical? Like... is that cool? Even for Times Square. $6,50. Just think about that for a minute. Six dollars and fifty cents for one slice of pizza. It didn't even upset me, I was just genuinely astounded. I still am. I'm dwelling in astonishment as I write this. Wow... Wow.

Excellent food and service. Our food was at our table less than 10 minutes after we ordered. All the servers were nice. Our water glasses never had the chance to get empty because the water server was consistently checking on us. Absolutely impeccable service! You MUST try the pumpkin ravioli. Very close to the theater district, so it is the perfect pre-show meal.
