The Gregorian Hotel in New York

For the price of the hotel we expected a lot more. The hotel building according to one of the staff is a 100 years old so it has character . The room is unfortunately very small and we stayed for 8 nights two adults and two kids . The bathroom is even smaller . The housekeeping facilities was also pretty average . The rooms needed to be vacuumed properly and they were not on many days . Because we were out most days we did not care to ask . On several occasions we had to ask for shower gel to be refilled as housekeeping did not bother checking . One day they did not even clear any of the bins in our room! However, the concierge was very friendly and helpful and by far both men that served us were the two friendliest people which took the trouble to explain places to visit etc . The front desk staff however could improve on their service level . It was pretty sub standard for a hotel that supposedly is 4 star. Take the trouble to greet your guest and not stare on the computer . One day I asked for our sheets to be changed and it seemed that although they adhered to our request it was such a trouble or at least that was the vibe I got from the front desk ! So for 8 nights it was an ok hotel and we probably would not recommend the hotel to anyone and for the price that is quite high per night I would be in future looking elsewhere . The photos on the internet look great but don't be fooled !

We booked 2 rooms in this location and one month after the Hotel cancelled the reservation without proving a valid reasons. After 2 months we still didn't get the refund even if we are working with third parties to obtain it.
This is a scam!
Avoid this hotel if you do not want to see your vacation ruined and if you do not want to loose your money

Not even worth one star! Don't book, the hotel seems to be closed. I've booked this hotel on a platform. The hotel charged the credit card. After I have read the reviews about the hotel, I cancelled the hotel on the platform. The refund was not made after one month. The hotel does not respond to e-mails. Meanwhile the hotel is no longer available on the platform...

I booked a room in February - traveling International but n May 2022. They cancelled on me less than 24 hours before my arrival. Stranded me and my daughter with no where to stay :-( no apologies. No explanations.

BEWARE, FAKE FREE CANCELLATION!
I booked a week in May at this Hotel with the option of free cancellation through the Booking reservation website. Due to a medical problem I had to cancel the reservation. After dozens of emails and calls, and four months later, they still haven't returned the money. The Hotel disregards telling you to request the return of the reservation to the company of the card with which you made the payment.
