Staff support was weak - didn't feel welcome and were not helpful with finding restaurants. Rooms were significantly more cramped than pictures made out.

The staff were so attentive and pleasant! They really made our stay feel special! Thank you!

Fantastic aesthetic and great private bar area. The front desk staff was kind however the housekeeping was less so. The amenities were also lacking for what is considered a 5 star hotel in comparison to others. The bath in the room also had a lot of floating pieces coming out of the faucet which made me unsure if it was a great idea to use it.

Too much loud noise through out my stay from the street.

Housekeeping was not consistent or complete in cleaning

The area is too noisy outside the property.
Feels old, not vintage.
Food is excellent

Beautiful hotel with extremely comfortable room and bed. Great decor with a lot of cool spaces in the hotel Bocho relax or especially at night to listen to great music.

Everyone was so kind and the space was wonderful. Enjoyed the rooftop lounge - the views were incredible and the experience was perfect. I'm in NYC at least once per month but this was my first time here - can't wait to return.

I'm almost hesitant to leave this review because it might inspire more people to book, and then the rates will go up. We stayed two nights at The Ned and I felt like I was in the lap of luxury! The staff were super friendly, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. My boyfriend is a well known photographer, and the associates at the front desk recognized who he was when I told them his name. They sent a bottle of complimentary wine to the room. The room itself was clean, super comfy, and the vintage style freestanding tub was so romantic. The shower was really nice, not a spot on the linens and towels, and the room was quiet. Yes, some of the details are old (such as the tiles in the shower and the floorboards in the room), however I thought this is what made the room charming. In addition, my boyfriend and I enjoyed the use of the bathrobes and slippers in the room. Little Ned around the corner had the best Negroni I've ever had and breakfast at Cecconi's was super posh. I enjoyed the coconut yogurt with honeycomb, strawberries, and bananas. I would definitely come back!

I attended a dinner event recently with a member, and we requested some specifics, which were met.

The whole experience was definitely worth the pricetag.

We had dinner at Cecconi, and the had cocktails in basically every single bar ..

We were met with every single premium request.
Pappy Van Winkle and family, high end Michter's , all sorts of Blanton's in every single bar for our old fashioned. And some many other super premium spirits that are incredibly hard to find.

If you want to impress someone, with food and drinks, this is it..

Will definitely be back as a member

We checked in on late afternoon on Friday for a wedding in January. It became obvious during the first night that we didn't have heat in our room. Saturday morning we spoke to the front desk personnel and they said it would be checked. When we returned to the hotel late afternoon, we were told that it was fine and that it worked by motion detector. Our reply was when you are sleeping you aren't moving! Saturday night we returned from the wedding to again no heat. We checked out Sunday morning.

I received an email from the night manager promising a $355.76 refund for our inconvenience. What was refunded, $215.79.

I have sent two more emails asking them to live up to their promise but no reply.

Horrible experience. We paid lots of money and everything was wrong. The service was so bad we had a short waiter he was young he forgot everything or seems very rude he knocked my napkin out my hand and saw and did not help me. We order bottle champagne with oysters not enough cups for us all and oyster came after our main course and they had Mexican hot sauce and not tobasico. The only helpful one was a Jamaican bus lady who was very kind and went out of her way to help us. I will never come here again ugh

My friends got sick after having oysters. The oysters had a weird taste. The staff isn't friendly and does not look happy. Good location and idea though. Could be much better.

Great vibe! I was there last week with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. Drinks were great (the Mojito was my favorite!), food was tasty (I had the squid ink homemade pasta with tomato sauce and it was delicious!) and the music was on point. Our server was very friendly. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Really fun place!

Great service, stellar oysters. Came here for drinks and oysters on my birthday one year and was quite pleased. There's so much to see in the decor, too.

The worst lobster roll I have ever had!! So disappointing!! Sat at the oyster bar for about ten minutes and was not asked by any staff members if I would like any food or drink. Once I managed to corral someone and get my order in I was greatly disappointed. Oysters were fresh and tasty. However, the $29 lobster roll by FAR the worst I've ever had. The lobster meat is smothered in watery mayonnaise and WAY too much vinegar and celery. It was unbearable, really. I think you can get a better lobster roll at McDonald's. This place has a solid reputation and was pretty busy on a Saturday night when I was there but they really need to step up their game. Do something about the JDOB Lobster Roll -- really it's quite a mistake to put the business's name in front of something that tastes like trash.

Went for the first time NYE. The space is gorgeous and service is awesome.
My only complaints are having guests who already paid and bought booths and stadium seats waiting outside in 10 degree weather that felt like -5 degrees for no damn reason. If the space is already paid for VIP should just walk in.
Also, there were technical difficulties with the sound towards the end of the night.
Prevent these two things from happening and you'll have 5 stars.

This place is gorgeous, beautiful, elegant, classy, refined, and still hip - accented with black and gold. The fact that it's still opened speaks volumes (as most places opened by entertainment people typically don't turn out so well).

As a club, it's not the best for dancing. There isn't really a dancefloor. There's a wrap around bar area, restaurant seating along the wall, "tiered" sofa seating with low tables for eating or drinking (think of long bleachers with nice leather sofa seating overlooking the bar area), and also "lounge/VIP" rooms open to anyone who wants to play pool, watch a sports game on a flat screen, or sit on the huge, comfy sofas to chat.

The downstairs lower level has singular bathrooms (one toilet each) that are unisex. Once I went and there was a main bathroom that was unisex with everyone going in there, which can be a bit unnerving to women. All the bathrooms or stall doors have blurred glass, so you get some privacy but not compete 100% of it haha (not the boom boom room).

I've had the best time when I've come here to eat, and well to have a few drinks and chat.

While Hip Hop music is played, it's not a spot where people misbehave (I have not heard of a fight breaking out here, as I've experienced at another Hip Hop lounge). I would definitely recommend this place for the early dinner and chill vibe during that time.

Hanging out with friends and family was great because we had a private room. Also, the pool table gave us a way to have something other than drinking to do. Prices are moderate and the crab sliders are awesome. Would go back in the future.

Sophisticated and classy, but bring a fat wallet. Ballers and models will feel right at home - not so much anyone else trying to turn up on a budget. Private players lounge is spacious, well appointed and your private concierge does her best to make sure you and your guests have anything you want. Oh yeah, and the food is absolutely amazing!
