Hotel was great value, good simple breakfast. The gym was average and machines not working …. The rest was good, great for a quick stay

When I came to the front desk to check in, I was informed that the hotel had no running water but would be working in a couple of hours, but the water never came back on. I was told that I could get a refund or credit from ******* for the inconvenience and since the hotel could not relocate me.

Room smelled. Pillows smelled worse. Dirty. Blood spots on lamp. Hair and slime on phone. Nobody answers at front desk for help concerning this issue or is there in person. Horrible experience. Especially considering I’m here for work and bc no response from front desk, now I’m just stuck with these smelly pillows and room unless I wanna pay for another hotel. Absolutely unacceptable.

Room to dark not enough light bulbs. Only 2 lightbulbs The phone at the room doesn't work.

Stay was wonderful. Rooms were very clean. No strange smells. Staff was very polite and welcoming. The only negative I would say (personally because people were throwing down) was that the breakfast was not good at all.

The second shift front desk lady was awesome, sorry i forgot her name, but i do remember Monday morning when i checked out the lady at the front desk said it was here sister, both of these ladies were very friendly.
My stay was for five days. Wed Oct. 29 i was in room 305 which doesn't have a slider for balcony. Thursday evening when i got back, I asked the lady at the front desk to move to a different room with a balcony, in which she put me in room 308 then. That night when i was ready to go to bed i pulled back the blankets and noticed the king sized bed had a big dip in the bed, extremely noticeable! I was so tired at that time I didn't bother asking for a different room.
Friday morning, very early around 5 am in a rush to meet my friend to go fishing, I didn’t mention to the night shift front desk about this matter. Friday I didn’t sleep there for I stay at a hotel in Aranas Pass to go fishing Saturday morning. Got back very late on Saturday and was extremely and didn't feel like packing up my stuff to ask for a different room again. Sunday left early to go see the Texans football game. so I had one night left of trip so i just didn’t bother changing rooms.
When it comes to switching rooms, I’ll take full responsibility for not changing room.
The issue is why did this room 308 have such a terrible mattress? Do you not check your mattress? This is not acceptable to charge your guest for this inadequacy! Also your restaurant was closed!! Keith Metzner

Great staff on an older property. Great for the price though and the waffle was delicious.

Room was ok. Twin bed rooms have full size beds, not queen. Bedding was clean, carpet looked recent although there was a lot of white hair on it. Bathroom was clean and towels were clean. We found some blood stains on the headboard and spme pf the bed switches.

The waitress was really polite but she disappeared for 30 minutes before coming to ask if we needed anything. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and tables that had ordered after us got their food first. There was no need for this since there was only two other tables at the time and they each had 2 people. When the food finally got here, they had messed up half of our order. The food was okay.

Was not impressed at all. $12 hamburger was fair but not for the price at all. Tortilla soup was bland and the chicken tasted odd.

I had the BBQ Chicken Flatbread.
It was almost too spicy to eat. Loaded with spicy BBQ sauce and tons of jalapeño slices.
Service was great and brought me some sour cream that cooled it down a bit. And she kept my drink full.
Had the Bacon Burger for lunch and it was pretty good. Great spot if your staying at one of the many hotels here and do not want to fight traffic.
