We were very pleased with our Hilton stay. The night we checked in, there were free cookies at the front desk, and we didn't see them any night since then. That was the only disappointment 😂
The staff were excellent and quiet. No door-slamming or banging around by the housekeeping staff. Front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast on the first morning. It's $9.99/person and was very good! Great selection, hot and fresh. The facilities were clean.
Our room was pretty standard. Clean and a decent size for the price. The bed was comfortable. We asked for an extra blanket since the comforter was a little too thin. We had to keep the room colder than we'd like it to help fight the humidity. We are from San Antonio so we're somewhat used to it, but a thunderstorm came through during our stay so humidity was even higher. The floors inside the room were slippery as a result.
The hotel is attached to a parking garage. We paid $20/night to park. Not great, but expected for a big city. The location was awesome. We were in Houston to see the natural science museum and the zoo, and our hotel was right at the corner of Hermann Park, where both destinations are.

We had two reservations, and the second reservation was even an upgrade from the original room I booked. On Friday, the front desk assured us we would be able to stay in the same room for our entire stay.
However, on Sunday morning we were suddenly told we had to check out because the room was no longer available. We hadn’t even gotten ready since we were under the impression we didn’t need to move. When I explained that we were told on Friday we could remain in the same room, the front desk response was, “Well that was Friday, now we’re overbooked.”
The lack of communication and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Being overbooked is one thing, but honoring what was promised, or at least handling the situation with accountability and courtesy, would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience was very frustrating.

Best experience as a Hilton team member staying at this location while visiting Houston. The employees are professional and the lobby was welcoming. I loved the breakfast and also the fact they had free laundry machines. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I had a perfect sunrise view. I'm happy I chose this location and my self and family enjoyed our stay. The gym is also nice. Thanks!

This is the perfect location if youre coming in for the medical center, NRG, Zoo/Hermann Park or just visiting Houston but perfer a quiter less choatic area. Its at the very far corner of the med center while also being about five minutes from NRG. Its quieter and the streets are much wider, making it more comfortable to get to than the dense Med center or NRG area. They have a shuttle that will take you to those places too. Hermann Park (and the trails that take you to the zoo, golf course, Japanese Garden) you just have to cross one street & you are at the trails to those places. I had a very pleasant stay and it was clean, quiet & comfortable. Subway sandwhich shop is right next door. Perfect spot to get a good night's rest. Really enjoyed my stay during the "winter storm" we had! 😄

I had such a great experience working with the staff here. I ran a 3 day conference and it was extremely successful. Amy Lubarsky was very attentive and helped me in all of the planning. I highly recommend this hotel and her if you need to have an event in the area.

The location is excellent, taxis are readily available, and the area is safe. The room is spacious and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, etc., so you can cook. There's a table, lamp, and you can also work. A bus to the medical center is available. Rice University is within a 10-minute taxi ride.

Participate in the OTC exhibition. Not far away. 15 minutes by Uber. Not many restaurants around. Not far from the city center.

It's very big and is a good hotel, especially at this price. I have done a lot of research and found that this location is quite safe. I rely on taxis to travel.
