The people that run this place have always been kind to me. They have let me stay in lobby while getting a room they have always just been kind. People aren't like that these days. So I always try to go back there

They also allow service dogs with no question ( but if you have a service animal make sure to bring right paper work and rember to clean up after) the staff is nice about it so be nice about it back 🙂

The best room I ever stayed at in Houston I asked for a smoking room and got a none smoking room but everything else was great

They never fail me. Never jave I been disappointed staying here I love them

Rough towels but the good thing is no bed bugs! AC and heating unit is good. The one washing machine and guest dryer you need to stand and watch

Admittedly, this is not the nicest part of town, yet this hotel takes every possible precaution to make sure that you feel safe and taken care of during your stay

This hotel is a great option if you're looking for an affordable room. They have both a security guard and a cop on site all night and almost all day

The motel is run down and old as hell but service was excellent. The lady who took care of us was a happy soul and i loved that part.

Great rooms (very clean), free wifi, fridge/microwave, friendly staff, and great price. I would strongly recommend it

In addition to that they have a gate to protect your vehicle and ensure that there is no unwelcome company

There's no free wifi and no kitchen. Room was clean but small. Shower had crack on bottom had to be careful not to fall through. Guarded all night but people were out. I slept okay not a lot of channels but okay..

Stayed at the Marriott for a business event. I never had to leave the grounds everything was provided to me, both essentials and non-essentials. Staff was wonderful and food at the restaurant was great

There was no internet in my room, my room was 1100. I had to get to the lobby to get internet. And couldn’t find the gym or the buffet breakfast at the beginning had to ask

Hate the carpet though was kinda hard to push my luggage ALL THE WAY to the room. The room was big and comfy overall. The best part for sure is the bathroom

Was stranded here during the Hurricane (Harvey) HPD rescued me from I-45 and W. Mount Houston and took me there. No flooding there and the night shift attendant (female:) checked in on me for the first few hours

Offering me her dinner if I was hungry. I refused, but she wouldn't let me go to bed hungry and broke out the fruit loops from the free breakfast and brought it to me

It's not bad for the price. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Just don't promise breakfast with eggs and not have eggs. Also spoiled milk so...

The staff was very accommodating, and I appreciated that check-out time was noon (typically 11). Would stay again if we have plans in the Heights area and would recommend

This is not a fancy place, but definitely a very practical one to stay in. Nicely located close to downtown and within a good radius of other interesting areas to visit in Houston

Was on the 2nd floor. no Elevator, so I had to do the stairs with a bad knee. Place was fine except for the 2 roaches in the bathroom.

Safe and Clean Stay Room was downstairs with easy access for older person. Room was clean and neat. Great value for location. Felt safe in that area.

The hotel was great for a quick overnight trip. The room was well attended, clean, comfortable. More so than most hotels in a ‘budget’ price range

Will not book again here The description stated it was a pool and it wasnt one. Still was under renovation which was uncomfortable. Dirty old rusted microwave & coffee maker

Exceptionally clean, maintained, well furnished (small fridge and microwave) and without the cost to go with it. Highly recommended.

The internet speed was very good so I could do most of my paper works without issues. I will definitely stay at this property when next I am in Houston

Room isn't bad, has a smoke smell and there is no coffee pot but coffee and cups? ? but bed is comfy. There is urine on the base of the toilet but the staff is really nice. But for less than 60 it's not horrible

My room didn't have any towels or any soap but it was still nice overall.

Overall we were happy with our stay. But I did find it strange and inconvenient that we had to leave a $50 cash deposit upon checking in and had to have a room inspection before checking out to get the deposit back.

This was the cheapest place to stay when our flight was cancelled because of snow, and they had rooms open. Everything is old and outdated, but it was perfect in a pinch.

Convenient when you need it Only issues I saw: no microwaves or fridges in the rooms, and the office isn't open as often as it should be for the type of business

Not too bad a place for the location. Cable and wifi, decently clean room, kind staff (maybe not first shift all the time), stores and food nearby

All room clean and service is good and has big truck parking and room has microwave freeze and toilet is very clean And area is too good no noise aroind one can sleep peacefully

I liked upstairs but was only given downstairs but I can tell upstairs was open because curtains was open. I was given a handicap room and fridge didn’t work well. And that’s a first for me at this hotel

I wished they left a section of rooms open for regular guest. That really put me in a bind with a hotel that was decent to stay. I mean I worked only 5 minutes away

This brand new hotel with all the amenities included lime free laundry, outdoor pool, gym, bar, and lounge was perfect. My suite was extremely clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were soft

Maybe we don’t know that’s how the protocol functions but having to call for towels and trash pick up was unacceptable. Breakfast was amazing and wholesome to meet most of our needs

Misty at the front desk was a HUGE help! The absolute best service I've experienced at a hotel, bar none. Rooms are cozy and have more than what we needed for a comfortable stay. Competitive pricing with amazing service.

Nice fitness center and the hotel room was a very good design.

Between 9PM and about midnight an adolescent with a bypassed muffler will gun their way up that ramp, shaking the windows on that side every 30 seconds or so

The facilities are a bit old, but it is clean, the location is excellent, the service is nice, the breakfast is also rich, and there are many commercial complexes around. High cost performance, free parking

Great room and great location that is very accessible from the I-10 freeway. We enjoyed our stay but past midnight, we could hear loud noises coming from many guest walking the hallway

This woke me up and made going back to sleep somewhat a challenge

Sendy is a class act and knows how to take care of customers and members

And when turning the ac it was very loud in living room and also the heat did not work

The room was okay but there were no cups, paper towels, lotion in the room. I come to expect these types of amenities at Residence Inns. The breakfast was not very appetizing

My flight was scheduled to arrive at 23:30, so I found a place close to the airport. It was older than I thought, but it was clean, and most of all, the bed was crazy. It felt like a latex bed, and I slept really well.

Absolutely wonderful! Room was comfortable but the staff made it the best! Shuttle was at the front ready to take me when I walked outside

Big rooms, modern and clean. Staff was very friendly! Breakfast options; yogurt, waffles, muffins, bagels, eggs, sausage, fruit, juice and coffee! They take pride here! There is a free shuttle from the airport

The front desk clerk found the glasses I left in the room and had them at reception for me.

The atmosphere felt like we were at home . Staff was nice our room was clean. I usually check filters and vents . Pleased to say they were clean everything was nice and clean

The accommodations were pleasant and well-maintained. The door had a slight gap, allowing some light from the hallway to enter; however, overall, the room exceeded my expectations

Both the sofa and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices. Location to the football stadium was very convenient because we could walk.

Everything was great. There was a wonderful young man at checking on Saturday and in Sunday that was very friendly and kind. Not sure of his name.

Got the kind size suite which was big and amazing for a gateway. The rooms are big and spacious and super clean. Loved the bathroom with the awesome shower. The front desk is very friendly and helpful

They have a really nice big outside pool and gym you can use on the second floor. The breakfast buff is super tasty and is better then most others i have eaten before

Simply too many furniture pieces in such a small space. The rooms are in need of remodeling. The bathrooms are very outdated and in need of replacing. Furniture and decor is worn out and in obvious of needing replacement

Coffee downstairs 24/7 is a major boon. Plenty of local eats around, target down the street for groceries

Customer service desk was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fine but nothing spectacular. There were no fruit options, which would have been nice

The price was very appealing and was a very budget friendly option. However, location is not in the best part of Houston. The king bed room was too crammed with furniture and the layout was awkward

I did like the oatmeal bar, otherwise its your standard waffle, cereal, pastry, fruit set up. Let's get it the room: The pillows are awful, very flat, and non supportive. We all know a pillow makes or breaks your sleep

The bed itself was comfortable. The sofa bed wasn't nearly as comfortable. The bathroom vent did not work so it steamed up very easily and to make matters worse, the only mirrors are in the bathroom

Great amenities and great experience for the second year now

This is an older property -- possibly a former apartment complex. The current management is doing their best by providing tidy rooms, crisp clean linens & a decent breakfast

It's in a strategic location just 5 mins walk to the Galleria. Room was fine for a small family but the window are facing corridors and people can peeps into the room or living area if the curtains are not tightly close

Very strict about going to the general pantry/breakfast area to even take a look at whats already displayed if it is not yet breakfast hours. Great cost for a hotel near our convention area at the Westin Galleria

I have only 1 single complaint, our room was right by the elevator and we could hear children screaming and running up and down the hall way early in the morning. It didn't last long but it did wake me

I was super impressed with this property. I had never stayed at one. It was so clean! It had a dishwasher sink, coffee maker, full-size refrigerator. The suite was absolutely perfect!

What a treat!! This room was upscale and loaded with amenities, fridge, microwave, soft towels, hair dryer, larger than usual bathroom and quality toiletries! We were exhausted, and truly got a great night's sleep

This is a great option for an extended stay. The separate living area and kitchen check off all the boxes and at a good price.

I absolutely loved my stay here in this hotel. My husband and I found a good price on this place so we took a chance. It was still a little more expensive than the places we normally stay at but it was worth it

The toilet was old & not clean. Too many stains in toilet. Nobody came around with fresh towels.

Humidity odor in the room,the towels are very stiff and rough in your skin I like the breakfast.

We evacuated here as a family due to Hurricane Ida. Our 1st impression was the property looks new. The community grills were extremely helpful during a time like this. The pool area was just the right size

The only problem was the door didn’t shut fully when we left. So, it was inadvertently left open. When I told the front desk the door didn’t close all the way, he said that was supposed to happen

The staff is always very pleasant and very helpful. This Motel 6 is it a little step Above the Rest or other motels in its class since it does have a pooled which was very enjoyable

We were shocked and happy! Every other place charged additional fees and had all sorts of policies about pets. The pool was clean, the staff was wonderful and very friendly

We had such a great experience at the Jones Rd 290 location. My wife called and the Front Desk clerk (Michelle) immediately accommodated us with an early check in to a clean, non smoking room

Additionally, we had to end up bringing our dog. My wife called again and asked about the additional rate for pets. She was told that Motel 6 was a pet friendly hotel and no additional charge would be added

It’s a basic budget motel, so there aren’t many extras, but it served its purpose for a short stay. The location was convenient and easy to access, and the stay was fairly quiet

Looks to be recently renovated. Rooms are nice and clean and the hallways are very quiet. Great to walk to Toyota Center, George R. Good parking and actually free parking which is a huge bonus

The hotel's main entrance was under renovation, so you could only enter through the scaffolding on the side. The Toyota Center, home of the Houston Rockets, is right next door and within walking distance

It's a 10-minute drive from downtown, which we didn't go to. The hotel facilities were basic, offering everything you'd expect. Toiletries were from Dove, and the room included two bottles of water

Major road construction that will continue for months. There is no food, shopping nearby. Takes 15 min walk to reach for convention center. Staff is friendly and very helpful

By the way, almost all the hotels in the area charge for parking, but this one didn't. However, parking spaces are limited, so you need to arrive early to find a spot

This hotel is great for events at the convention center and the Toyota center. Their is some construction happening that makes transportation a little challenging.
