Spark by Hilton San Antonio near SeaWorld in San Antonio

I chose the hotel because it was in a convenient location and had a good price. I saw that it had a lower score rating than other hotels but again the price won out.
The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is typical with waffle, eggs, sausage, a few pastries, coffee, a little fruit, and OJ. The coffee was good but not real strong. I did breakfast the second morning and the waffle and the sausage links are good. It seemed we're expected to pick up after ourselves.
The foyer and hallways were fairly clean and well kept.
The room is nicely appointed. The bathroom separates the living room from the bedroom. There's a weird door to the bedroom with a full window in it so I'm not sure what that's about. It might keep out sound but it definitely won't give privacy.
The carpets are filthy so I wore my flip-flops in the room. They do clean but they don't get everything, attention to detail is not their forte.
The sofa in the living area looks questionable so I didn't sit on it. The bed was clean and comfortable. But most importantly the AC worked great!

Room smelled funny, I think it got better as the fan kept running, unless I just got used to it.
Bare minimum for bfast (just cereal and bread). But it’s a cheap and safe place to crash for the night if passing through the city.

The room is clean. A front desk person is lost in space. He doesn’t know anything about the hotel. Location is nice. The breakfast is not the best.
