Room quality varies greatly. Definitely has some mold issues. Some rooms have both a bathroom and a TV, some have neither. Breakfast is pretty decent. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here, but others in my group did not.

Great bed and breakfast located in three historic homes! Eating breakfast with people visiting Washington from around the world was a great experience.

Very comfy, homey place. The service was incredible and the employees were very nice! I'm planning to return on my next trip to DC.

The Adam's Inn was a lovely visit. Our room was comfortable with a bed, a chair, and a sink. We had a shared bathroom on our floor with a nice shower and toilet. Breakfast offered a variety of choices including baked goods and yogurt. We arrived in the evening around 10pm and had no problem getting to our room. A good experience all around.

I made a reservation on Sunday for a Friday stay. My family was no longer able to make the trip and we were charged 50% of the reservation price. We canceled the very next day. No consideration was given and when I told them I would write a review based on my experience, I was asked not to write a negative review. Really? That's the cost of doing business guys. Be nicer to prospective customers.

This clean and cozy B&B has great character, comfy beds, and a continental breakfast. Situated in a diverse neighborhood. If you have a friend in DC you can get a local discount on your room.

This was a good place for the price. The staff was fantastic and very helpful they helped me figure out parking while in the city and gave some good ideas of what food, attractions, and cabs were near by. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Those who book should understand it is an older home converted into an inn its not the Marriott but it is fantastic for its price, its clean, comfortable, and has great staff. There was even a small kitchenette downstairs and the morning staff had breakfast out on time if not early every day!

Great place to stay in Adams Morgan section of DC. As a Bed and Breakfast the Continental Breakfast is a bit disappointing, though sufficient for a light Breakfast. Room spacious clean with private Small Bathroom. Saw other rooms on our floor were nice with private sinks but a shared bathroom on the floor.

Comfortable Bed. Quiet Neighborhood. Good nights sleep. Safe Neighborhood. Very close to the National Zoo.

Lots of great restaurants and bars walking distance nearby. Though not too close.

Three townhouses and a carriage house make up the Adams Inn. Street Parking is a challenge and limited parking on property is available at an extra $40 per day. Very glad we took it though.

We will stay there again, though only in a room with a private bathroom.

Beautiful place with homey touches. Private room for when you need time to yourself and shared spaces for when you want to socialize. It is within walking distance of the zoo which is great for families. I stayed with my three children and would definitely go back as a family or solo. It is also very close to lots of delicious restaurants.

Stayed here for an anniversary getaway. Found it to be clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was full of guests. Staff was friendly, walked us to our room in the building beside office. Breakfast was good. Never heard fire truck or ambulance across.the street. Saw no evidence of rats, or bedbugs as suggested by other reviews. Everyone was friendly guests and staff alike. Easy walking distance to zoo, 2 metro stops, and MANY restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Good brunch on a long weekend Monday. The place was pretty empty, which was nice. Food was a little overpriced and the music was oddly loud and didn't fit an empty Monday brunch mood. They wanted there to be a party going on, but we were the only table eating.

I don't know how it's possible but they made bacon taste bad. It tasted like they rubbed it on a wet dog. My meal was $18 and it was two pancakes and dog flavored bacon. The place is overpriced and my group of 8 people who each ordered something different didn't like any of the food. You should really only come here for drinks or if you're drunk and can't taste the food.

Food is awesome! I recommend fried chicken with waffles, brussel sprouts with bacon, steak asparagus salad.

This place truly lives up to its name; hospitality is at the core of the experience they give you. My friends and I were wandering down the street, hungry and tired after a long day at a big conference. One of the owners came outside and invited us in. They accommodated us at a big table in the bar section, where we ordered affordable drinks on offer during the late-extending happy hour (until 8pm that night!). Another owner was tending bar, and he joked with us, after which the first owner came by again to chat in a friendly and non-intrusive way. The owners and servers were warm and welcoming, and the fried okra was really well prepared and flavorful. I would like to go back here, and hope it lives up to the almost magical memory of it as a sort of oasis that I have now, a few days later.

While in DC for a friend's birthday, ended up going here for brunch one of the days. Overall, a great choice for brunch. When we got there, we were seated as soon as we arrived (no reservations and on a Saturday ? lol). Our waiter was great! He was very helpful, attentive and had a great personality.

Food wise, we all enjoyed our food. I got the Veggie Omelette which was very filling (I didn't realize I got toast also with the tater tots/potatoes). Overall, good food, good atmosphere (I lived the decor/feel of the place), and would recommend

Good BBQ, nice beverage selection, and good prices. It can get busy on weekend nights, so plan ahead. The menu has some great options, including BBQ samplers for 2-4 hungry people. The BBQ is pretty good and the sides are great (i.e. jalapeno cheddar grits). When they bring out for food, ask for all of their BBQ sauces (they have several but usually only put two on the table). They have an extensive list of whiskey, beer, cider available. On Tuesday nights, you can get two BBQ tacos and a side for pretty cheap.

From the moment you enter Smoke& Barrel, you're hooked by the smell of bacon and beer, my favorite combo. Real tasty food, loved the beer. Only thing I would recommend them to improve on their service and staff. They don't greet you with a smile, and our server was not keeping a check on our drinks. Maybe it was a little crowded that night, but still

The food was good! Service...not so much.
Made a reservation, but when we showed up we were told that they do not accept reservations. To accommodate us, they tried to put us into the basement lounge that wouldn't have full bar service and was extremely dark. We even got yelled at for turning up the lights to read the menu. We moved upstairs on our own and sat at individual tables. Waited over an hour for drinks, and the total dinner took well over 2.5 hours. Very very slow service.

Go for the food, which everyone loved, but expect to be underwhelmed by the service.

Friendly service. Meet was really good. Sauces we're good, but not up to St. Louis' best. Good beer selection.

This place. If you are in DC you have to go here. Whether you're vegan or not, whether you're into beer or whiskey or not. Omg. It is soooo good. I've had almost all the vegan items on the menu, and they're all fantastic. The first thing I ever got there were the vegan spare ribs, which are one of the best vegan dishes I've ever had. The bartender there told me the vegan wings are the lost popular item on their menu, and they're the reason he became vegetarian. The sweet potato donuts. Drool. Added bonus, is that it's an omnivorous place, so there's something for everyone, and the rotating tap list of craft beer is amazing.

Service was above and beyond! The food was delicious! A perfect place for a date or drink and sushi to share with friends.

Good sushi, pleasantly relaxed, a bit weird with the dance music blaring from the speakers.

I met a few friends here at the rooftop bar for a drink before heading to dinner. I had one glass of Merlot and closed my tab. When I checked my bank account few days later I had been charged twice: one $9 charge and one $13 charge. That same evening one of my friends was also double charged and also only had a single glass of wine. We were intentionally charged twice, with two separate amounts which is enough evidence for me that the bartender did it entirely on purpose. I will not return.

My husband and i stopped in to drop off a gift at a going away party for a friend and were not disappointed! We were only there for a short time but will deffinatly be back because the food on the brunch buffet looks amazing! Can not wait for the experience! While i have never seen anyone in drag before it was so much fun and i love it! Can not wait to go back!

The drag brunch was a riot. We had so much fun, and ended up willingly giving them all our cash. Food is okay, the experience is excellent.
