The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The conference rooms were mostly fine, but sometimes cold and the pillars created line of site issues for screens and speakers. The room refreshes were thorough. Finding the conference rooms was sometimes confusing. Overall, the hotel was a great location with lots of food options nearby and a quick walk to the zoo. Great location!

Beautiful venue. Great for the conference I was attending. Screens could be seen at the back of the room. Staff was very attentive. However, the hotel room was very cold even when the thermostat was reading 78. Great for sleeping, but not for sitting. Also, the valet took over 20 minutes to get my car when I was leaving. They seemed to be understaffed there while overstaffed or appropriately staffed everywhere else. I am in a cast and using a cane so valet was most convenient. If it weren't for the valet issue when I was ready to go and standing in the cold, this is a wonderful place to stay.

I was there during the day to attend a convention. The hotel us lovely and welcoming. There were rooms for panel discussions. The checking in was very easy and easy to find our room where the panel discussion would take place. At lunch time I ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was excellent and the service wonderful. Because I was part of the convention, they gave me 20% off if my lunch bill. It is a great place to hold a convention. Plenty of room and places for people to sit and talk or have a snack. It was a week long convention hosting people from all over the USA and also people from other countries
Some of the people stayed for the entire convention and had rooms in the hotel. I was only there for the one day. But the hotel was a very welcoming place with a great atmosphere.

Gorgeous gardens!!! Always love this hotel. Its the second convention I have done and stayed in for. The breakfast is amazing, just the best I have ever had at a hotel. Its on the concierge level. There is a sauna, which is great, but one of the highest perks is the vintage decor throughout many wings of the place and the overall fantastic job at decorating and apportioning rooms.

Plus...most important for me...how do you eat on a budget at this spot in town, with no time to spare, at 11pm? Well, the room service is quick and unbelievably cheap for the area ($14 pasta and meatball marinara delivered to your room, plus $5 delivery charge for the whole order). Its not great food but it is simply the best non pizza option if you are stuck in for the night.

Typical Marriott. Comfortable rooms, but that's where the typical stops. This hotel sits on an "island" and the management knows it. Everything is overpriced, restaurants and the servers who work there are marginal at best. My biggest complaint was privacy. Exiting front the elevator there was a sign that stated, "quiet floor, please respect other guests...". I know why, you could have a conversation with your neighbors through the walls and doors. Mine as well just had sleep in a tent. The hotel management said that there was nothing that they could do and all the rooms had the same issues. If you are a lite sleeper, find a different place to stay.

On a good note, you are only a block away from the metro which is very easy to use.

Stay one night at the hotel and it was not too bad. So lets start with the check in. I arrived about 2 hours early before the given time for check in and was able to get to my room early. The room was a nice size and up to standard of clean. I was worried due to others review comments but I can say that I notice no weird stains or no bed bugs. The only downfall with the room was that out of 5 power outlets in the room there was only one working one.

All staff members I encounter in the hallway were very friendly and helpful with any questions that I had.

I will be staying at this hotel again because giving the price and location to metro it is a steal.

The location is great and easily accessible. The lobby is very nice and large with a nice bar area. The rooms in the central tower are fine - a bit dated and old. Glad to have a mini fridge though, and overall very quiet. Nice new TV in the room.

It's a very nice hotel. I've stayed several times here for professional events and it is well kept and managed professionally and hospitably. We did actually have the door latch somehow get latched by itself when we left our room and had to have a hotel engineer come to get us back in. They couldn't get it open and ended up having to break it to get us back in the room. It took a little while for the guy to get there, but after he did he was fairly quick about getting the situation taken care of. He and the security staff were both very helpful though. A few other things of note, overall it is kept very clean. Sometimes the stairwells are wet though, because they have the ice machines right in front of the stairwell entrance, so water gets tracked in and it can be slippery. But now I'm just nitpicking. I've had great experiences every time I've been here so far. I think they deserve the 5 star rating overall, even with the few minor things I've noted.

Huge conference venue, awesome service and support by hotel staff. Executive lounge offers yummy snacks and breakfasts. Flora and her team go out of their way to greet you and make you feel comfortable. Nice rooms, wish they had a better dinner restaurant/options. Harry's Pub OK, pricey but convenient. Their room service/FreshBites offer a nice selection at reasonable cost.

Great service with a nice, comfortable, quiet atmosphere. The waiter was very calm, polite, and professional when handling other highly demanding and upset customer. Steak was perfectly cooked, delicious risotto, and very nice truffle fries. Reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant - might be rather expensive compared to surrounding restaurants.

However, there was no host ready to greet and seat us when we came. Food took 35 minutes to cook - slightly longer than I expected. Waiter didn’t check on us after the food came out. But overall, it’s worth the price and very convenient for Marriott hotel guests.

Food was decent. Service was terrible. Took almost 20 minutes to get a glass of water. And prices were out of sight. Cost us $60 for two breakfast sandwiches with hash browns and coffee. Will not be going back!!

Ordered the Spicy General Tso's dinner special with wonton soup and a side order of steamed dumplings. The dumplings were average and the soup was good. However the general Tso's chicken was pretty bland and not spicy at all.
