Just a heads-up: there are other hotels downtown with similar names, so make sure to double-check the address before heading over. The room was spacious, which was great for a family of four. My only minor complaint was that the water pressure in both the sink and shower was quite weak, which was a bit frustrating. On the positive side, the hotel's luggage storage service was excellent, and breakfast was decent.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location in the heart of Washington D.C., with all major tourist attractions and government buildings just about a 10-minute taxi ride away. Valet parking made getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean and tidy, featuring a small kitchen equipped with essential cooking utensils and tableware, perfect for preparing your own meals. For longer stays, if you need to do laundry, the hotel offers both paid laundry service and self-service wash/dry, with each self-service cycle costing just $2 – extremely convenient! Couldn't fault a thing; overall, a perfect score.

The location is not far from the Gallery Pl-Chinatown metro station. The rooms are very spacious for Washington. Compared to the Fairfield Inn, which is also part of the Marriott chain and located close to the same station, this one is cheaper and the rooms are larger.
I am not happy with the poor water facilities, as shown in the attached photo.

Serious: Stay Away from this Hotel.
They have hidden charges. They made me pay $150 more when I was checking out. The reason? Never stated. This brought my one night stay to more than $420. be careful save your money and avoid this hotel.

If you're traveling to DC for work at the Convention Center, the Residence Inn is your place to stay. It's clean and inviting. The staff is very nice and accommodating. They even have a Milk & Honey restaurant in the lobby! It's located directly across the street from the Convention Center and one block away from a Metro subway station. Great location! Loading and unloading can be a bit challenge during a busy period as there is very little space in the front of the hotel. Parking is valet only at $57/day. Spot Hero has other overnight parking options with in and outs if that's a bit steep for you. Otherwise, it's a great hotel!

Good octopus and eastern oysters. My colleague had the mussels with wild mushrooms and truffle cream. Both tasted excellent!

Great food, great atmosphere, great service, good value for money. Do you want more? We had oysters from california, octopus, steak tartare and a salad with smoked salmon. All were of great quality, well prepared and served. The atmpsphere of the brasserie invites you to enjoy the eating and drinking experience. Service is great, the people serving the drinks and the food know their wares and truly help with selections. Finally, the price is right.

Could not be happier with my experience here. My friend and I were a bit under dressed and were treated just the same as everyone else. The wait staff were not only knowledgeable but friendly and welcoming. The patio was beautiful and not overcrowded. The food was phenomenal and the beer was amazing. 10/10 would go again (dressed a little better next time)!

We went here for brunch to celebrate our anniversary and were so happy we picked this place.
1) Service = The service was great. A few mentioned that service wasn't so great but we did not find this to be the case. Ralph was extremely attentive. The bread was brought out warm and the butter was very easy to spread.
2) My husband ordered the classic mussels and biscuits and gravy and he says both were VERY good.
3) I ordered the steak frites and it was also very good. The steak was tender, the sauce was tasty, fries were crispy and the watercress was good.
4) Ambiance = Everything was nice, we sat outside for the lovely weather and had an umbrella for shade.
5) I recommend getting the bottomless mimosas!
