Great location and facilities, would choose again next time.

Room was good, staff were pleasant, but the hotel has an air of not being in great shape - as if they were simply going through the motions. The service at the restaurant was terribly slow and disorganized.

Not happy with the check out, they charged me the full price for 2 rooms which I already paid for. it took time for them to correct the mistake and made me wait

Elegant, classy, warm and welcoming. i was warmly greeted and the concierge introduced himself by name, and said if I needed anything, he was there for me.

This stay was a complicated experience. The hotel is popular, but the service response is really not up to par. There is a long queue for check-in and check-out. The room request cannot be processed in time, which makes people anxious.

The lighting design of the room is unreasonable. There are only floor lamps and table lamps, which are dim at night. And there is no drinking water, which is too inconvenient. However, the sanitation is very clean, which is worthy of recognition.

The sound insulation is poor. If there is any movement outside, it can be heard clearly in the room, making it difficult to sleep well. In addition, the decoration is old and the corridor is gloomy, which makes me feel creepy when walking at night.

It is affordable and has a five-star brand. If the budget is limited, it can be used. But the hardware and service are in urgent need of upgrading, otherwise it is difficult to retain guests. I hope it can be improved.

My wife and I recently visited DC for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, and Logan went above and beyond to make it special. The hotel and staff were top-notch, and we loved the rich history surrounding the place. Rooms could use a little updating, but they were clean and full of character. We had a wonderful stay and would like to thank Logan and the entire team for making our trip memorable!

I’ve been switched to my second room. The air conditioning still doesn’t work. The phone didn’t work in the first room. Now I have water filling the bathroom floor. The room is so small. I barely have room to get in the room and put my suitcase on the floor. The staff here is incredible. But the facility is horrible. And do not order the short rib it smells and taste like black tar for $45.

Okay, satisfactory

I don’t know how a hotel can be four star without basic services such as a microwave— no microwave anywhere in the hotel. There is no free access to WiFi unless you want to be member— additional inconvenience. They don’t have tea, only coffee. This is the first hotel I have been to that didn’t provide few cents worth of tea bag courtesy to their guests despite the pricey room rates. And the room is right next to the street so there was some noise, otherwise rooms were nice and clean.

Would not return. We booked an inexpensive package deal to stay for a few nights, but the hotel felt extremely outdated and dingy. The carpets felt gross, the rooms had a dusty smell (and you can’t even open the windows to air it out), and the final straw was when we found a huge cockroach in the room at midnight. So nasty 🤮🤢 We asked to switch rooms immediately which they accommodated but there was no recovering from that I’m afraid. I refused to walk around bare feet in the room after that. We were very happy to be checking out and won’t be missing this place. The only great thing about it is the location.

UPDATE on 9/27/24:
Spoke with the GM Shelly about our experience and I genuinely appreciated the conversation we had. She was sincere, empathetic, and acknowledged that this was totally unacceptable and that it should have never happened. I felt really validated and valued as a customer, and though we can’t undo our experience at Mayflower, I have more reasons to stay a loyal Marriott customer because of how she followed up and handled the situation after I left this review. A+ leadership and customer service in my opinion.

I went out Saturday night and let me tell you. I was impressed with this Club. This was my first time the staff was nice security was nice and might I add they were cute too lol. The setup was on point. NO FIGHTS, GOOD DRINKS, GREAT BAND. I would definitely go back and recommend this club to everyone.

Hispanic, bald bartender, bartending August 18th night into the 19th near the restrooms was giving off racist vibes. I asked him for a cup of water with ice, he wanted to sell me a bottled water for $5. I told him I just wanted ice with regular water and he only gave me a cup of ice. I confronted a manager about the problem, which she (Tatiana) seemed to handle, but apparently wasn't handled b/c after she spoke to him the bartender harassed me while wearing a shirt that read "I hate you" with a monkey on it. I am considered African American so I do not find that a coincidence. I do not recommend supporting a night club with racist bartenders that cannot serve you a simple cup of water for free when any restaurant you will give you WATER FOR FREE, this was a very disrespectful situation and should not be tolerated at all.

In the office/basement of a hotel next to the business center for sending faxes to Carol in accounting. Awesome place?

They need to show their hours of the kitchen. Went there and could not eat because the kitchen doesn’t open until 7:00 pm

Pool table is in very bad shape. Strong lean, very dirty, expensive. When I went to pay, the worker rang up drinks that were more expensive than what I drank.

Great for karaoke nights especially if you're looking to get weird. I haven't been here for any other occasion...

I didn't know what was waiting for us as this bar is underground and it was very very dark. Once we entered, surprise! It's a karaoke bar! Luckily, most of the singer sang really well and we really enjoyed the night. Affordable drink is another plus!
