Doing some research on where to stay in Washington DC, I stumbled on this place and the price was fair, so it was booked. We arrived by Metro which the B&B is a few steps from. (Tip, If arriving by the Metro, take the elevator and once you exit through the elevator doors, turn left and left again and the B&B is on the right.) We stayed in room 121 which was large and very comfortable. This is a quiet and extremely clean house with welcoming friendly staff and owner. This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed at the Woodley Park Guest House. It continues to be immaculately clean. The team is friendly and helpful. The owners are usually on property in the morning. The owners and the other guests have some great tips for nearby restaurants and museums. An added benefit is that the Guest House is less than a block from the Woodley Park Metro station. Highly recommend

The big hotels in DC are either a) run down or b) way too expensive. This spot is a welcome relief. Safe, ultra convenient, and charming, it features great rooms, a wonderful breakfast, and pleasant, kind owners who take the time to make sure all their guests feel “at home”. What an incredible place. The staff are so kind, there are so many little touches that have been considered, down to room coasters. The steps are a hike if you have heavy luggage but not impossible. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

From the greeting on arrival, the breakfast and the standard of all the facilities, this was the perfect choice of accommodation in Washington. Highly recommended

Lovely place. Kind owner. Great privacy. Interesting neighborhood to be honest, but you wouldn't know "it" once you're inside. Very comfortable. Shared bathroom, but it's really not as bad as I Invisioned a shared bathroom. Toiletries supplied, comfortable beds, pillows, asonishing decor. Yummy butter mints.

One of the best Inns in the area! The house was built in 1890s, it is well kept in original American style and it is absolutely gorgeous. The family keeping the place is very kind and welcoming, and they even have a gigantic cat who loves to be pet. The price is great, especially considering the breakfast included. 10/10, would stay here again!

Our family was so welcomed! The home was beautiful, and we could easily access the Metro from this location. The surrounding neighborhood was charming.

The property was in a great location, on a quiet street within walking distance to nice restaurants and bars. Hotel was clean and the bar area was nice. My check-in experience was fantastic and I want to commend the gentleman who helped me check in the morning of December 15. I was able to check into my room (very helpful as I had jet lag) and he was very friendly. He even gave me a gift of chocolates...

The property was beautiful and well maintained. A few small things were off here and there - lighting could be poor, TV issues, etc, but overall, a really lovely stay.

The building is old, the hallways felt dark, the painting was peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom. The hinges were rusted. The lighting was limited and the room felt dark as well. This was my first time staying at a Viceroy and this was not the elevated experience I was expecting. My room service took an hr and arrived cold. The staff was nice, and the rooms were clean, which were the positives...

The Viceroy was great! Amazing location, walking down 14th street allows you to explore a lot of awesome restaurants and bars. Like Pearls Oyster Place and Barcelona. I'd avoid the food trucks as they over charge. Great service at the hotel, cool look and spacious room. Great spot if you like being active in the city.

The 1 bed syute we stayed in was immaculately cleaned. Beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Great blackout shades and soaking tub.

There was no stocked bar. I was unaware that breakfast was included. The coffee shop did not have cash in its register and the coffee was burned. For $6.60 I expect a good coffee! Karen at the front desk was AMAZING! So friendly and upbeat. Zach also did a wonderful job. Overall, great stay and would come back.
