Location was great. Walkable distance to the White House and lots of restaurants nearby. Room space was limited but enough for a comfortable night stay.
Very good location and perfect for spending a couple of days in Washington.
Nice and relatively comfortable.
It's such a nice accommodation available on Main Street in Washington, D.C. I strongly recommend it.
The hotel is average overall. The room is quite small. There is a supermarket in the back street of the hotel, which is convenient for buying food.
The room is too small, the shower water is good, and there is hot water

Room was spotless, lots of amenities. Close to a fun neighborhood and good food.
This is a very special place - affordable rates, cute and comfortable private room, great location, and a lot of nice touches like coffee / tea / fridge / meeting area in the lobby. Highly recommend.
Clean room, nice bed with excellent linen, accommodating front desk staff (Erick was very helpful), amenities were great (all toiletries) too. I stayed in a private room. I recommend staying here for all of the above reasons and the many food options in the area.
This place is an exceptional value. 24 hour front desk always professional friendly and helpful. Queen room with private bath clean clean clean. Very comfy bed all in lively neighborhood with restaurants cafes and bars all within a 3-5 minute walk. I cannot imagine a better value in Washington DC.
Good vibes, impeccable staff. I love that there is a kitchen to cook in and the amount of shops in the area is fantastic.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The property is clean, well organized, and very comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Everything ran smoothly, and the common areas and rooms were well maintained throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the front desk, especially Ingrid, who was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. She was always available to answer questions...

Washington, 1127 Connecticut Avenue NW, 7th Floor (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC—now the Mayflower by Marriott—stands as a timeless symbol of elegance, history, and political intrigue. Opened in 1925, the hotel was envisioned as the city’s grand social center, welcoming presidents, dignitaries, artists, and visionaries through its ornate doors. Its Beaux-Arts architecture, inspired by European palaces, reflects an era when craftsmanship and...
Very spacious rooms. Extremely courteous staff. There was one person called Bobby who really made sure we felt at home.
Great location. Walking distance from all key monuments. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is good. Obviously it's expensive
The food was not too good. Too much sauce and not enough healthy items on menu.
This is one of those hotels that expects guests to not drink water. While the property was clean and check-in was seamless. The rooms didn't have drinking water. There's a saying - you offer water even to your enemies. Seems the hotel management struggles with basic of hospitality. Overall experience - average. Cleanliness - good. Staff - attentive but slow. Parking - valet for 70 bucks. No self...
Great historical hotel with a lot of charm and character.

Helpful service! There is free delicious pancakes provided every morning. Very nice location in DC. Super convenient to all the attractions
I stayed at this hostel for three nights and had a great value stay. It's in a great location, within walking distance of the subway station and the White House, and supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, making it convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The free breakfast (pancakes) also saves you money on food. It's also a no-shoes hostel, so cleanliness is a priority. There's a black man...
Everything was perfect except the location. Lots and lots of walking in Washington
The neighborhood is safe, and it's not dangerous even if you go out late at night. It's within a 10-minute walk from the station, and there are no security issues there either. The facilities and cleanliness, such as the bathroom, are not the best, but it won't bother you for a few days. There is some creaking of the bed and stairs, and noise from outside, so people who are sensitive to noise may find...
I stayed in a 12-person mixed-gender room. The bed was comfortable, but it made noise when I moved, so I couldn't turn over much. Many people were relaxing in the shared dining room and living room. The kitchen and eating space were crowded at breakfast time. I recommend going early.
This hotel is actually a youth hostel, and most rooms are shared. This is not fully indicated on Ctrip's hotel booking app. I hope the platform can optimize this.

The other reviews and the website did not prepare me for how much STUFF there is in this museum--every surface and every wall covered with books, knick-knacks, record albums, paintings, etc.. Some of it was really cool, like the enormous bathtubs and the themed rooms. But I also felt a bit suffocated as if I was in the house of a hoarder. My companion was obsessed with understanding how they keep...
My husband and I went here for a night out. We had so much fun. Would recommend doing this. Not so much for kids to do. There's lots of stuff to see . Try to get a time when it's not too busy. If you can that way you can find the doors without someone giving them away.
A completely different experience than any other museum in D.C. The beginning of the self guided experience is worth listening to every word. Its walls (that open) must have amazing stories to tell. Try and find as many hidden entrances that move you from room to hallway to room. It’s surreal as there are actual guests staying in the mansion. The amount of incredible memorabilia in this Mansion...
We visited the museaum with our 2 children - age 10 and 12 What a fun experience !! My kids did not want to leave. There was something for everyone is every room and the secret doors made it so exciting ! We would highly recommend this to anyone, all ages!
Take a break from monuments and "traditional" museums by visiting the Museum on O Street. This is perfect for kids from 5-13, I'd say. We had an 11-year-old with us who got into the game of trying to find the hidden doors and rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our favorite was the log cabin room. Each of the themed rooms is crammed with stuff, so if you have trouble with clutter, be prepared. We...
Went with our 12 and 14yo kids. They loved finding the secret doors; us parents loved the nostalgia. We were there over 90 minutes - tired by then, and all the stuff everywhere can be overwhelming to the senses over time. Yes, it seems pricey given so many things in DC are free, but it was a fun unique experience and glad we did it. We felt it was worth it. We parked a couple blocks away via...

Great place to stay in Adams Morgan section of DC. As a Bed and Breakfast the Continental Breakfast is a bit disappointing, though sufficient for a light Breakfast. Beautiful place with homey touches. Private room for when you need time to yourself and shared spaces for when you want to socialize. It is within walking distance of the zoo which is great for families. I stayed with my three children and would definitely go back as a family or solo. It is also very close to lots of delicious restaurants.
Stayed here for an anniversary getaway. Found it to be clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was full of guests. Staff was friendly, walked us to our room in the building beside office. This was a good place for the price. Adam's Inn is an adorable hostel-style hotel. The room and bed were both cute, charming, and comfortable. There was a sink in my private room to help provide some amenity since the bathroom was a shared bath. The Adam's Inn was a lovely visit. Our room was comfortable with a bed, a chair, and a sink. We had a shared bathroom on our floor with a nice shower and toilet. Breakfast offered a variety of choices including baked goods and yogurt. We arrived in the evening around 10pm and had no problem getting to our room. A good experience all around.

Good location but we had a room next to the  front and lights were very bright. Also heard the garage door open s lot.
It's a very nice hotel in a quiet and beautiful location. The room was very quiet, which allowed us to get a good night's sleep. There are also many restaurants and cafes nearby.
The location, service, and costumer service is excellent.
Wonderful staff; great atmosphere; environmentally conscious; quiet location; clean and distinguished hotel for a reasonable price
The room is hot, the heat is always running.you have to keep the window open a crack for relief. With the window open at night the sounds of cars and people partying is loud and hard to sleep so then you shut your window and it is now too hot. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The location is a couple of blocks fromy conference so that is helpful.
We visited The Normandy as part of a school trip and the experience was incredible! The building and rooms are charming, the location is ideal (close to so many great restaurants), and the standout part of our stay was the service. Spacious room, good breakfast, Easy check-in and check-out
Just a heads-up: there are other hotels downtown with similar names, so make sure to double-check the address before heading over. The room was spacious, which was great for a family of four. The location is not far from the Gallery Pl-Chinatown metro station. The rooms are very spacious for Washington. Compared to the Fairfield Inn, which is also part of the Marriott chain and located close to the same station, this one is cheaper and the rooms are larger. I am not happy with the poor water facilities, as shown in the attached photo.

The room was clean. The room was on the corner and very quiet. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, average at best.
Check in was easy and staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely book again when family visits again.
Quite a nice hotel. Good breakfast. We got around by car, so I can’t say how easy it would be otherwise. Driving in Washington is relatively easy. The front desk staff’s attitude varied—one was really nice, but the night shift person seemed a bit tired of their job. The parking garage was full, as were the outdoor spots. I didn’t want to pay $50 for a parking spot that wasn’t even available.
No blanket for sofa bed. It iook so long to run hot water in bathroom. Parking is $50 and too expensive
Very nice front desk staff. Room was well designed and comfy. Nice breakfast. Shuttle from airport and back was a nice feature.

The rooms are amazing, the staff is so professional and the breakfast was delicious! 10/10
We booked two queen beds and a sofa bed for a family of five. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast buffet was free, and the $25 coupons for coffee, cola, and snacks were great. Parking was a bit expensive, costing about $60, but it was comparable to the parking rates at all Washington hotels.
Good location. Rooms are kept in decent condition. Hotel facilities are adequate. Gym is well equipped with new machines. The breakfast spread is impressive. The egg omelette section is managed by professional and experienced chefs.

Excellent location and wonderful front desk staff, especially the evening gentleman who was super friendly and helpful. Our room was great, the one bedroom suite was big and having the kitchen was very nice and spacious.

Stayed in the King one bedroom suite. Large room and living room. Small bathroom which was unfortunate. Couch was pretty poor quality. Bed was nice and comfortable. Don't be fooled by the pics there isn't a pool here. Would stay here again if visiting DC for convenience and comfort.
I was here for my loved one’s burial service at Arlington National Cemetery. This hotel staff didn’t know that, but they took such good care of me throughout my stay. Everyone was friendly and prompt at every point of contact. I’m very grateful and pleased that I chose this hotel out of the many options in the area.
Good clean room. It is affordable. Good breakfast as well
Happy with welcoming vibes of the hotel and the room with all the little details , you will really notice. Happy with brekky - Staff ensure all food is refilled, smiling and greeting everyone.
Stayed here for a couple days just for some R&R. Overall it was ok. Room was very nice. Easy setup with the TV and streaming. Bathroom was very nice. Unfortunately the laundry room wasn't working. It was 76 degrees in the room at night. We were told that the AC was not turned on yet; only heat was running. It was very hot to sleep at night. Big space. Nice location.
Convenient location & tons of space. Decor was dated, some minor repairs needed, and tv was way to small
Close to covention center. The room was clean. As shown in the pictures, it has a big sitting area and kitchen and a separate bedroom.
The iron was sort of damaged, and it affected my shirt a little. Also, water drips out of the shower and makes the restroom floor slippery. But management was supportive enough to let me keep luggage in breakfast room for extra 2 hours after checking out.
I only stayed for one night for meetings at the Convention Center so did not avail myself of kitchen facility but it appeared to be very well appointed. I could definitely see myself staying here for a longer stay. It felt just like a nice one bedroom apartment.
If you are looking for an apartment sized hotel room with out the bells and whistles …. this is the place for you. There is NO bar, NO restaurant and no other amenities but the LARGE unit makes up for it and you are across the street from other hotels in case you need the other amenities.
