The room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. The hotel is in a good spot with food etc in walking distance. They even have valet as we had a truck.
The staff were excellent and the location was perfect. We loved how walkable and fun the DuPont Circle area was.
I had a very nice stay. The place is comfortable, well located, and matches what is shown in the listing. Overall, everything worked well and the experience was pleasant. I would recommend this place.
This hotel was a dream. Great location! Excellent staff. We spend our last night at another hotel as we were meeings friends who were staying there.
We regretted changing hotels!!!
Absolutely praiseworthy, absolutely excellent service, thank you!
It was a great trip but was very difficult to get in because there was confusion and it took forever for me to get my stuff figured out and the front desk worker was not helpful and kept trying to charge me

The only place to stay in Georgetown. Walking distance to all the great restaurants. My favorite place to stay Great staff and the front desk, valets and cleaning staff.
We were not offered free breakfast; we paid
We were not recognized as VIP
Our view was of a roof with machines
The staff didn’t care if we were there of not
Bellmen very kind and attentive
Clean place and convenient location near eateries and shopping.
Nice room with couch, chairs, coffee table, desk and king bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is great for a Georgetown reunion of friends. Walkable neighborhood. Bar off the lobby.
great location and nice renovated hotel-lively bar/restaurant-felt like we were in the thick of things fo a festive holiday weekend.
I stay at The Georgetown Inn every time I am in Washington DC, and it never fails to satisfy!

The hotel is dated, but I found it clean and I would stay here again. The location cannot be beat if you want to be close to all the sight of DC. I found the neighborhood safe and I walked around one night after dark. The hotel does need a serious update and if you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place. The staff were all great! I did find the staff at Harriett’s (attached restaurant) a little...
Very old rooms, Bathroom door does not work, dirty beds, no coffee machines, no microwave, WI-FI does not work inside the room. Stay away from this hotel
Hotel was dated, as everyone has noted, but the bed was clean and comfortable. I probably wouldn’t have stayed here with young children because the carpet was kinda gross and the outlets- let’s just say I didn’t use a hair dryer out of fear it would blow a fuse, but my 18 y/o daughter and I were attending a show at The Warner Theater, which is directly across the street and the safety of the closeness...
Ok. You have to consider why you’re looking at hotels in this price range. If you’re looking for location, look no further! It’s very close to many of the local sights. Whitehouse, Washington monument, National Mall, Constitution Avenue, National Archives, Fords Theatre and others all within walking distance. It’s firmly down town so you’ve got varied restaurant and shopping options. However, it...
Location, Location, location
This is a very old hotel that has never been closed for remodeling. The rooms are stark, small and often noisy, but clean and supply everything you need for a great visit. We walked everywhere, including museums, tours, and restaurants. The staff was a high point because they were friendly and tried to accommodate any need that they could. Don't be afraid to ask! It's definitely...
We have prepared before staying at this hotel, and maybe because we have no expectations at all , we can kinda accept the old room. Only soap are offered in the room, but with such great location and price, we have nothing to complain about. They offer to keep your luggage after you check out, which is what we need.

The hotel is cozy. The service staff are very nice.
I went early and checked bags. They gave us a call and the room was ready as we were running around the city. The doorman was excellent and very helpful as was the desk. We have dietary requirements so we don't eat at the hotels. The room is a little tight as the bed takes up most of space and the TV in the room we had was on a angled wall which annoyed me a little but wasn't very important. Had an...
The room was spotless, check in was easy and efficient, the building was nicely decorated for the Christmas season, and I would recommend the hotel. However, it is not handicap accessible, which was a problem for me.
Convenient transportation, nice environment
The hotel is very well located with a metro stop 10 minutes away. Close to Chinatown with bars, restaurants and shops. It is a charming building and the staff is very friendly. Curious that there is no shower gel, only a bar of soap.

The room was decent overall but there were some things that lacked attention to detail. We unfortunately had a room that was next door to some sort of hotel room party which was very loud at 1am. The front desk staff named Kanesha was very accommodating and kind to us and found us a room on a different floor. We really appreciate her!
Staff wasn’t the most welcoming and when I got in the room it was a big bug waiting for us wasn’t the best experience for the price.
The room was very clean, the staff was friendly, check-in was a breeze, and they don't charge for pets! It was a lifesaver and I will definitely stay again.
There is no breakfast at this hotel, the room was clean, although the heat wasn’t working so we had to get a maintenance man to fix it and I put my car in valet in the following morning when I went to go check out the valley man almost crashed my car into someone else’s car
Stayed here for a family wedding in DC. Ubered or walked everywhere. Nice staff in the lobby. Wine happy hour was pleasant.

Our entire stay was outstanding. Food, service, friendliness and professionalism of the staff was superb. Our room was impecable. We will stay here from now on when we come to Washinton,DC.
The curtains in the room are split in four sections and have gaps between sections when closed.
The staff is quite friendly and helpful.
There seems to be no complimentary bottled water provided.
The hotel has been nicely updated. Room was very well appointed. Service was impeccable. There are private lounges for you to hang around if your flight leaves later in the day, which was a bonus for us.
Staff was extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The soaking tub and in-the-mirror bathroom tv were pleasant surprises. The location of the hotel is formidable.

Quite good. Nice Parking. Near US Capitol. Not difficult to find.
It’s a decent hotel to stay in, but it was too far from establishments so we weren’t able to enjoy most of Washington fully. The breakfast was definitely not okay after your 3rd night. It was the exact same food for a week. Some would like it, but certainly did not.
Great facilities, but the surroundings were just average.
It was great experience staying in the hotel but only problem deposit taking on card because I told them I’ve cash with me I’ll give u cash now when I leaving then return me but they said no we only take card for deposit but when I leave I ask when I can get my deposit back and they said they don’t know

One of a kind! Great location (right next to GWU! and subway station), really friendly staff, neat room with customized decor. All in all highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Hotel Hive! The room was small but it had everything my Huband and I needed. It was in a great location for us because we were there to see the White House. The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC—now the Mayflower by Marriott—stands as a timeless symbol of elegance, history, and political intrigue. Opened in 1925, the hotel was envisioned as the city’s grand social center, welcoming presidents, dignitaries, artists, and visionaries through its ornate doors. Its Beaux-Arts architecture, inspired by European palaces, reflects an era when craftsmanship and...
Very spacious rooms.
Extremely courteous staff. There was one person called Bobby who really made sure we felt at home.
Great location. Walking distance from all key monuments. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is good.
Obviously it's expensive
The food was not too good. Too much sauce and not enough healthy items on menu.
This is one of those hotels that expects guests to not drink water.
While the property was clean and check-in was seamless. The rooms didn't have drinking water. There's a saying - you offer water even to your enemies. Seems the hotel management struggles with basic of hospitality.

A seamless and relaxing stay. The check-in process was smooth, the room was perfectly prepared, and the atmosphere throughout the property was welcoming. Staff demonstrated professionalism and genuine hospitality. Every aspect of the visit reflected high standards and careful management.
We were at the Poppy last weekend. The accommodations were suitable and the staff and proprietors were agreeable and helpful. Stayed 4 nights at this beautiful hotel and couldn't have made a better choice - would definitely stay again. I'd describe it as a small hotel with quaint B&B vibes. The room was fairly clean, with two 1.5-meter beds that were very soft. The service was very friendly, and the location was convenient, being close to the subway and offering airport shuttle service.
People at the front desk are really nice. Close to the airport
Facilities: Good, in line with the price
Hygiene: OK, in line with the standards
Environment: OK, the area is relatively quiet, and there are no unsafe factors
Service: The service is quite good, and the front desk staff is quite nice. Worth recommending
The room is good value for money and clean overall
The location is good, and the hotel also has a free shuttle to Reagan Airport. The room feels renovated and comfortable. However, the soundproofing is average. You can hear people talking in the corridor in the middle of the night. In addition, the water pipes in the bathroom make a loud noise. In short, it is worth the 900 night price.
The hotel is a bit old but the location is very convenient. The room space is not small. The hotel has airport pick-up at the designated location of the hotel shuttles on the arrival floor, which is easy to find. Although there are shuttle buses every half hour, they are not on time. I arrived nearly 20 minutes late. .

Very good. The room was large and clean, and the location was quite convenient. Some of the front desk staff were aloof, while others were very helpful.
Although it looks like an old hotel, the interior facilities are well-maintained, making it very comfortable and pleasant. The bed, in particular, was very comfortable.
The location is excellent, in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a restaurant downstairs, and many good restaurants are nearby. Free coffee is provided.
Greatly appreciate understanding and assistance checking in additional guest while primary guest plane was significantly delayed. Great location and venue. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!
This is a hotel in a good location but with very old amenities. It is on the West end of Washington DC. The staff is very nice. However, the facility is kind of of old, very very old. The room is not big but that's fine.
The best part about this hotel is its location. It is supposed to be an upscale hotel but it was not.

If you are someone who gets hot easily like me, I would recommend bringing a portable fan when coming to this hotel. The rooms are extremely warm and you can’t turn down the temperature much. We woke up sweating every night. The rooms are spacious and fairly clean. The staff is nice. Parking is $38 a night plus tax.
I used their garage parking when flying out of DCA. This is the best pricing and service. I prefer this over using DCA parking. I paid half the price, rode in a comfortable shuttle, and the hotel staff and shuttle driver provide A+ service and courtesy.

It was a lovely stay! A little concerning the amount of rats outside the hotel but I understand D.C. has a rat infestation at the moment.
The hotel was exquisite…the room divine…the location ideal….the staff top notch.
Just one lil funny thing….no door on the bathroom? What’s that about? 😆 thank you for all
The antithesis of a boxy chain hotel. Unique rooms, eclectic decor. Affordable, safe, friendly and centrally located. Not for everyone: no TVs, no elevator. Noisy neighborhood at times with middle of the night car alarms repeatedly set off. Food is excellent with a great bar and Victorian lounge.

Last modernised when Lincoln was President, but I liked the place. Old world charm. Elevator a bit ropey, but clean and functional. Good price for DC. Bar in hotel , but Liqour store round corner.
Handy for Subway and the sights
Stay here 3 nights. The hotel is good located, to a "walking" distance to all of the point of interest, and also the subway.
So, okay, the room are quite old, but mine at least was renovated and in pretty good shape. For the price, it defenitely worst it.
Not luxurious, but clean and attractive and reasonably priced. There is no laziness service but there is a dry cleaner and a laundrette around the corner along with veros shops and cafes. I also like the location. Very green with a beautiful church opposite and only a 20 minute walk from The White House and everywhere else.
This was my second stay at the Baron Hotel. It is one of the older inns around the D.C. area and it's not far from shops and metro. There were a couple of changes; no more continental breakfast, and a limited selection of tv channels, but I didn't go to D.C. to watch tv and there's a nice bagel shop around the corner with fresh bagels and good coffee.
The room was large with lots of natural light...
Overall a good hotel to stay. Some of the staffs are very very helpful. A few are a bit cold though. Great location. Good service. Satisfactory and safe.
Desk person specifically said specialty coffees like mocha and latte were available for room service but that was false. We were charged for a valet parking night we never used; that's uncool. Also the bar needs better beer. Finally, $6.60 for mini bar Coke! The prices here were outrageous, I feel like all they wanted was my money and not provide good service.

The location of this hotel is excellent, the staff was great, the rooms were extremely clean. Keep in mind it's a very old hotel which is in excellent condition but due to how old it is the rooms a smaller than the usual. yet still good enough and when you consider the price point you realize you cant beat it. its a great bang for your buck.
The room was fine for a downtown hotel. My third-floor room was a BIT noisy from outside street noise.
A very good location in a classic old building. Add some of the limits of the older building that you would expect But beautiful woodwork and brick work. Staff friendly. Room clean and comfortable small of course because it's that type of hotel. Great restaurant locations proximity to Smithsonians which weren't open the white house and warner theatre where we were taking in a concert. We'll be back
My wife and I stayed at this hotel a couple of times on our weekend trips to Washington DC mostly for the wonderful museums. In the lobby there is a fire place and coffee and tea for guest .
