Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters, Washington1 / 26Good price

I love the location. Right in the middle of everything! I walked to my work, which was near McPherson Square, and then I walked to meet my friends up in Kalorama Park, then went to 14th Street for dinner. I could walk everywhere! Unfortunately, I probably won't be staying here again. I was initially pulled in by the low prices (or should I say, low"er" compared to the others in that area), but was...
The Beacon hotel is easy to find when driving from the 495. It’s in a very nice and safe area; it’s close to downtown; about $12 in uber to reach Georgetown for instance. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming.
Every...ok a little expensive.
The coffee machines are both not working well on both rooms.
I was so excited to stay here because it was recommended by a friend. The price was not bad for the location of the hotel.. The front desk receptionist are clueless pretty much. I told them that my air in my room didn’t work. The maintenance guy came to “fix” it but was very condescending about it. A day later the air stopped working again. The air was just blowing out fan air, no cold air in 95...
The room facilities are old and not soundproof at all. The air conditioner is very noisy. There is an even louder noise for unknown reasons. I guess it's the elevator. It's too noisy. The hair dryer is rusty.

Great location! The hotel is super close to Chinatown and the metro, so it's easy to commute. The staff were also very helpful
Great location in Chinatown, very close to the subway station, and surrounded by many affordable restaurants. The room was perfectly clean, no issues at all.
the hotel is at the opposite of Metro, easy to find. the receptionists were friendly.
The location is absolutely fantastic, though you do sacrifice a bit of room space. It has a very 'Japanese hotel' feel – compact, yet perfectly equipped with everything you need. I think it offers great value for money for travelers.
The room was definitely very small, but beautifully designed. If you book for a weekend, be mindful that it gets very noisy outside, continuing late into the night. While the hotel advertises dry cleaning services, they actually don't have an on-site dry cleaning facility.
The room was extremely small, with barely enough space to move around. There wasn't even room for our luggage.

The bed and couch were comfortable, and nobody used the couch as its expanded bed option, though so unsure of that comfort level. Staff were all friendly and willing to help if necessary. The only complaints were with the bathroom. There was no exhaust fan. The sink sprayed if you didn't turn it on slowly and easily. The shower was only partially enclosed, so water tended to spray out. The shower...
Stayed here for my first solo trip! Staff was great, easily extended my stay for a night and OJ at the front desk is actually so nice and remembered my name! Always felt so safe and taken care of. Room was sooooo comfy. Microwave and mini fridge in the room! Had the salmon from the restaurant and loved it. Will be staying here in the future when I’m back in DC.
So we booked via a third party portal and due to delays in flight we got there later than expected. Reception was very courteous and welcoming. The booking we had said breakfast was I vludee this was found to not be the case on site. But no one says that, you're left to find this out after the fact with the explanation being that the policy was changed in June/July. Moving on, the hotel is clean,...
The location. Polite friendly staff especially OJ,Dennis,Victoria and Darseaux.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, upscale, very clean and couldn't have better staff...they were all extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. The rooms are modern, and large. The hotel has parking for a fee, well worth it! The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close proximity to all attractions.
The Cambria Hotel Convention Center is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. This newer hotel is conveniently located near a grocery store, coffee shop and a metro station. The views of DC are also spectacular in select rooms (I've stayed here on a couple of occasions). There is also a nice restaurant/bar on the main level. Will definitely return...

The service was great and the free breakfast was great, but we didn’t see anything additional to the experience, but that might have been the fact that we were in the second building and didn’t see much of the first.
There were no slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, or toothbrush cups. The bathroom door lock was broken and wouldn't close at all! I called in a repairman, who said the problem was serious and they'd have to remove the door or change rooms. The tub drain wasn't flowing properly, and water accumulated under my feet while I was standing in the shower. There were no free bottled water. Parking...
The location is excellent, very close to the National Assembly, and while the hotel itself is an older building, it's clean and tidy. Bicycles are available for free rental (helmets are available upon request, of course, free of charge), so be sure to take advantage of them on a nice day.
The room is very good, Facilities: Convenient, close to Capitol Hill, convenient transportation, and easy to get to anywhere. I will stay here again next time I go on a business trip. The hotel food is also very good, and there is no problem with safety issues
I loved everything about this hotel—from the location and room size to the cleanliness, helpful staff, and complimentary breakfast. The only downside was the kitchenette, which had very limited functionality. It’s essentially just an extra sink alongside standard business hotel amenities like a mini-refrigerator, capsule coffee machine, and two cups. I was hoping for something a bit more useful, so...

The hotel leaves mixed feelings. It’s a very atmospheric place — the building used to be a bank — with tasty breakfasts and friendly staff. However, I cannot recommend it. Instead of normal water, only boiling hot water comes out of the taps, making it impossible to wash your hands or take a shower without burning yourself. The issue was never fixed during my four-day stay. Breakfasts are delicious...
Awesome, delicious, go ahead, man
Wonderful personalised service and comfort in a central location
Dim lighting in room. Otherwise great locations and ok size of room.
The location is great! It's not far to walk anywhere. The service quality of the hotel restaurant is very poor. It is not recommended to eat there
The hotel is a former bank and we stayed there for two nights. The dinner in the cafe on the first floor was delicious and the waiters were also very nice. The hotel is very close to the White House and you can stroll there.

Very nice hotel, centrally located and easy to access with the Metro. We loved the restaurant.
Location is great. Only caveat is that it’s very close to the fire station so sirens go off 3 to 4 times a day and sometimes middle of the night. Bring ear plugs
Beautiful stay. No microwave for the guest unless you have suite but that didnt change my experience.
Great place to stay for the Marine Corps marathon. Very short walk to the metro station.
It is simply the best hotel / property in D.C. New,Clean, Nicely Decorated Rooms. Brand New Coffee Machines instead of stupid Keurig! Balcony is a great option as you wish to get clean and fresh air.
The staff was great. I received an upgrade, was able to use a food voucher and received a late checkout. I will be back!

Staff was very friendly, was a little bit of a hike to the metro but not too bad, very comfortable room with good storage and a nice clean bathroom. Comfortable bed as well.
Visiting from out of town. Staff @ bar/restaurant were friendly & very informative about the area & transportation for our visit.
Room was nice, first one was cold, second was good, no hot water in faucet. Still a cute place but do ask for a room not facing the street.
This hotel pleasantly surprised me in the most wonderful way—I’m absolutely delighted. I chose it for our family vacation mainly because of its location, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. What I loved most is that it’s a small hotel, which I truly appreciated. Room was clean and staff was great from checking in to checking out. 1st time visiting Washington DC and I would stay here again.
My partner and I loved our stay! The hotel was located a few minutes from Union Station, which was super convenient for our travel. The room was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, member of the staff was kind and accommodating to our needs.
Inconsistent temperatures. Hallway and lobby were very cold. Doors slamming at night. Can hear ever in hallways and tv’s in others rooms.
The room was clean. The bathroom door was a little difficult to handle and it didn’t close all of the way. No restaurant was a little disappointing. The hotel around the corner was recommended for an early breakfast and it was satisfactory.
Fitness center options were minimal. When the restaurant and bar reopen it will be a positive.
Decent rooms, clean for what they have, they try . Property itself lacks any lobby gathering space, no onsite restaurants , horrible curb appeal when first impressions are so important . - signage is low quality, damaged , dented? . So close to being a nice boutique” hotel , but just missing the details to pull it off .

The stay was fine, but the coffee maker wasn't working properly. The windows and room temperature were very good.
Best hotel in DC, best location, rooms are nice and very clean. Always stay here when coming to DC.
The hotel is extremely old, a century-old establishment with terrible soundproofing, no view whatsoever, and a very poor experience.
Highly recommended! ! ! At first I was attracted by the history of this place, and later I found out that this was a hotel built in 1926, 99 years ago. In the room, you can strongly feel the weight of history and the atmosphere of the times. But in sharp contrast, the facilities and all the equipment here are very well preserved, very clean and tidy. If I come to Washington in the future, I will choose...
The facilities are old, after all, it is an old hotel for many years. The lighting is dim and it feels a bit gloomy. The air conditioning in some rooms does not work, and you need to discuss with the front desk to replace it.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. The front desk staff named Marina and other staffs were very friendly and helpful, which made my stay much more pleasant. The breakfast was very nive and abundant. I had a great experience overall.
The location is great, but the service was just average, unlike the Hyatt Place. Regarding parking, the website stated $50 USD per day, but upon arrival, the counter staff informed us it was $70 USD per day, which is more expensive. We asked about the price, and they agreed on $50 USD per day. If we hadn't asked, we would have wasted money. We were disappointed with the service; we expected it to be...
No water in room. Says they are pet friendly but didn’t have a water bowl for room- front desk pointed to the community water bowl in entrance. Water kept coming out hot in sink faucet - had to brush teeth with hot water
The room didn't have a bathtub. The room was big and seemed clean. I wish they'd give us more stuff. There wasn't even a bottle of water (wonder if that's how it is everywhere in the US?) The lights were kinda dim at night, and it could use some more. The breakfast was yummy! I love that there were convenient stores like Walgreens and CVS very close by, and they're open until 11 pm.
Since we were staying as a family of four, it was great that we could use the sofa bed. There were also great breakfast restaurants nearby, so we had a comfortable stay. However, the front desk staff were a little unfriendly.
The most part was ok location and parking sucks

This hotel is a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Highly recommended
The hotel is in a great location and the room is very cozy. It is right outside the subway station, and you can walk to the Washington Monument and the White House in two steps. There is a McDonald's across the street, so you don't have to worry about food. But there are some big problems, that is, it is very close to the building next door, so there is no light, the room is very damp, and the street...
Besides no refrigerator, and kettle everything is good. Water machine in corridors and it’s okay. Bed sheeting was so nice and slept so good. Super convenient as the metro is next door, just few stations to the airport.
Very nice hotel, the room is small but clean and warm. There is a subway station downstairs of the hotel, 3 minutes walk to the White House, 10 minutes walk to the National Mall, there are many museums and memorials near the National Mall. You can travel on foot.
The room is small but has everything you need. The use of an environmentally friendly kettle is great. Free coffee and hot drinks are provided 24 hours a day, and WiFi is available. Erick at ftonl dest is kind and enthusiastic. This time I stayed in an executive suite for NT$8,200. Although I didn’t sleep well due to time and meeting pressure, I still feel very lucky and it’s great!
Very convenient location. The subway station is literally downstairs (I think it might even be in the same building). Rooms are a decent and clean. Free coffee is provided and also has a nice meeting room. Overall given the price and location, no complaints! Would def stay again.

Ate Baby and hotel team were very nice and accommodating. The check-in and out process is smooth. The overall stay is pleasant. Thanks to all the staff who assisted us.
The AC didn’t work the first two nights. Otherwise, the Generator is safe for a female traveler.
No AC for more than a week already
Really private hostel (they have curtain for the bed), good lobby space, far from metro but near bus station, many restaurants around there, price is a bit too expensive
Upon check-in, the key card for the room we were assigned didn't work. After finally getting a replacement room, we found the bedding was unclean. It took three or four trips to the front desk to resolve these issues. Honestly, unless you're a solo traveler on a very tight budget, I'd highly recommend staying at a more conventional hotel. Room and staff were above and beyond! From the moment we arrived until we got in the car. Very clean. Free upgrade on our room! Hope to stay longer next time!
The room was immaculate and very roomy. What stood out the most about the River Inn is the outstanding staff that we encountered at the front desk, the valet, and the restaurant. Friendly and so happy to help out any way they could, the staff made our stay so enjoyable. We’ll be back when in DC!
We always enjoy our stays at The River Inn. One huge perk for us is that it is pet friendly with no extra fee. Walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and great shopping in Georgetown. Each room has a full kitchen too.
Nice spacious room, full kitchen, walkable (< 1 mile) to Georgetown restaurants, pubs, stores & jazz. On-site self-serve laundry. Relatively inexpensive parking (~$20/day) nearby.
This place was amazing! Ashley Jean and Brandy were so nice to me upon check-in and check out. The rooms were impeccably clean, hardwood floors gives such an elevated feeling. It was so well priced. Excellent hotel, convenient location, very clean and good service. Just lacking a simple breakfast offering to go with their very good coffee lounge facilities.
Good location if visiting the museums around national mall. The room is small, the bathroom is small too. It is an older building, but quite well maintained. Many reviews commented on the cleanliness so I set my expectation high, but I personally think they could do better. We had a nice stay, but next time we are visiting DC I may look for another place.

The price that ******* listed was different from the price that the hotel charged. The hotel tried to charge me more than $900, but the ******* charged me $740. It took me some effort to work with the hotel to correct this which costed my time and damaged my impression to the hotel.
The room was very pleasant - I would have preferred a higher floor but bed was comfortable and room was clean. Check in was easy - I was at hotel only to sleep so I didn't utilize restaurant or bar area but they looked really nice.
Clean room and prompt response to room provision request. Great customer service. Location close to many good dining options.
Location was great. Valet was $80 per night which was ridiculous. First night I was so tired I went to take a shower and water was lukewarm! Not something I expected from a 4 star hotel. Bed was comfortable. Place was clean. Overall I would probably not stay next time.
Great checkin experience. Staff greeted me every time I entered lobby and always opened the door when I entered and left.
The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s pretty inside. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful. Evening shift was just average. The elevated smelled like body odor but was cleaned after we reported it to the desk. The plumbing in our bathroom was super loud the first night but corrected itself the next day. Beds were SUPER comfortable and the best pillows I’ve had in a hotel.

The property was in a great location, on a quiet street within walking distance to nice restaurants and bars. Hotel was clean and the bar area was nice. The property was beautiful and well maintained. A few small things were off here and there - lighting could be poor, TV issues, etc, but overall, a really lovely stay.
The building is old, the hallways felt dark, the painting was peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom. The hinges were rusted. The lighting was limited and the room felt dark as well. This was my first time staying at a Viceroy and this was not the elevated experience I was expecting. My room service took an hr and arrived cold. The staff was nice, and the rooms were clean, which were the positives...
The Viceroy was great! Amazing location, walking down 14th street allows you to explore a lot of awesome restaurants and bars. Like Pearls Oyster Place and Barcelona. I'd avoid the food trucks as they over charge. Great service at the hotel, cool look and spacious room. Great spot if you like being active in the city.
The 1 bed syute we stayed in was immaculately cleaned. Beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Great blackout shades and soaking tub.
There was no stocked bar. I was unaware that breakfast was included. The coffee shop did not have cash in its register and the coffee was burned. For $6.60 I expect a good coffee! Karen at the front desk was AMAZING! So friendly and upbeat. Zach also did a wonderful job. Overall, great stay and would come back.

Everything was perfect! My first time staying at this hotel and won’t be my last! Very clean, staff was amazing and the area is everything from the food to the views!
Stayed here for my boyfriend‘s birthday. Truly enjoyed it beautiful hotel. The only one thing that I would change is the fact that the elevator doesn’t go straight to the ground floor, you have to stop on a second then go to the ground. Other than that the staff was amazing and it was a great location.
The hotel was great, no complaints. Vehicle parking was a problem, though: the cost to park in the underground garage was $62 per day. Parking my car there literally doubled my cost to stay at this hotel.
The room was spacious and liked that the floor had a microwave alongside the ice machine that provided filtered water.
Loved the location. It was a New Year's Day so the bar in the hotel was closed. They offered a wine tasting which really wasn't a wine tasting. They gave one wine without context. Every single staff member with which we dealt was pleasant and very efficient and effective. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Our room had a view of the Washington Monument! very cool!
Great location, room size and general conveniences. Staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was easy. I would definitely consider staying again when in the DC area.
room was nice but we had a leak in the bathroom. The Hotel staff was very nice and immediately fixed the leak and gave us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Unfortunately hotel seemed short staffed during our stay and there was also a strange smell in the lobby bathroom. Also its a "cashless" hotel which was not ideal for our needs.
Amazing room with very high quality fixtures. Great mini bar and nespresso in room as well which is becoming a rarity. Sandra at the front desk was amazing help, and we dined at the restaurant too with my family we were visiting. The front desk helped with the reservation and we have a very quick, comfortable, and easy stay. Can’t wait to come back.

Good. Location is bit far for walking distance to white house and other central attractions. But love the space of the room and staff behavior. Deff. come back again.
The hotel itself is actually pretty good. The room was clean and spacious, even though breakfast wasn't included. The location is excellent though, very close to the subway exit. However, there was a small incident: we were charged $22 after checking out, and we're still waiting for the hotel's response. Hopefully, we'll get a reasonable explanation.
