The hotel located in the central area ,within walking distance from places of interest, the receptionist was kind but the light was too dim

Good. Location is bit far for walking distance to white house and other central attractions. But love the space of the room and staff behavior. Deff. come back again.

The hotel itself is actually pretty good. The room was clean and spacious, even though breakfast wasn't included. The location is excellent though, very close to the subway exit. However, there was a small incident: we were charged $22 after checking out, and we're still waiting for the hotel's response. Hopefully, we'll get a reasonable explanation.

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the train and metro stations. It's very convenient with supermarkets, pharmacies, and coffee shops nearby. Getting downtown by metro is also easy. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is a bit noisy.

I felt the service was not up to the mark, especially the reception. They couldn't locate the reservation for 30mts, while I kept showing them the reservation voucher. They insisted that they couldn't find it in their system. The safe in the room was not working.

First time stay at this hotel and like it's convenient location

The hotel was old, but clean. It was a shame there weren't many restaurants nearby. However, it was still within walking distance of everything I wanted to see.

Absolutely loved staying at the Churchill Hotel! It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to DuPont Circle and the Metro. Very safe neighborhood. There is a separate area in the room with a desk. Actually, large enough to use as a dressing room! We will definitely be going back and staying at the Churchill.

The Beacon hotel is easy to find when driving from the 495. It’s in a very nice and safe area; it’s close to downtown; about $12 in uber to reach Georgetown for instance. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming.

Excellent location and wonderful front desk staff, especially the evening gentleman who was super friendly and helpful. Our room was great, the one bedroom suite was big and having the kitchen was very nice and spacious.

Stayed here for my first solo trip! Staff was great, easily extended my stay for a night and OJ at the front desk is actually so nice and remembered my name! Always felt so safe and taken care of. Room was sooooo comfy. Microwave and mini fridge in the room! Had the salmon from the restaurant and loved it. Will be staying here in the future when I’m back in DC.

The Cambria Hotel Convention Center is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. This newer hotel is conveniently located near a grocery store, coffee shop and a metro station. The views of DC are also spectacular in select rooms (I've stayed here on a couple of occasions). The service was great and the free breakfast was great, but we didn’t see anything additional to the experience, but that might have been the fact that we were in the second building and didn’t see much of the first.

There were no slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, or toothbrush cups. The bathroom door lock was broken and wouldn't close at all! I called in a repairman, who said the problem was serious and they'd have to remove the door or change rooms. The location is excellent, very close to the National Assembly, and while the hotel itself is an older building, it's clean and tidy. Bicycles are available for free rental (helmets are available upon request, of course, free of charge), so be sure to take advantage of them on a nice day.

It is simply the best hotel / property in D.C. New,Clean, Nicely Decorated Rooms. Brand New Coffee Machines instead of stupid Keurig! Balcony is a great option as you wish to get clean and fresh air.

We had a chance to stay at The Lyle on a recent visit to Washington, DC. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff were all courteous and helpful. Everyone we dealt with was friendly. Don't hesitate to book a room!

Lyle hotel is such a gem located in a quaint neighbourhood at DuPont circle. It is quiet yet close enough to all the major museums in DC. It is also located within close proximity to numerous restaurants. The only flaw was a lack of tabletop in the bathroom, which made it difficult to place toiletries in the bathroom.

The facilities are old, after all, it is an old hotel for many years. The lighting is dim and it feels a bit gloomy. The air conditioning in some rooms does not work, and you need to discuss with the front desk to replace it.

Inconsistent temperatures. Hallway and lobby were very cold. Doors slamming at night. Can hear ever in hallways and tv’s in others rooms.

The room didn't have a bathtub. The room was big and seemed clean. I wish they'd give us more stuff. There wasn't even a bottle of water (wonder if that's how it is everywhere in the US?) The lights were kinda dim at night, and it could use some more. The breakfast was yummy! I love that there were convenient stores like Walgreens and CVS very close by, and they're open until 11 pm.

Since we were staying as a family of four, it was great that we could use the sofa bed. There were also great breakfast restaurants nearby, so we had a comfortable stay. However, the front desk staff were a little unfriendly.

Very nice hotel, the room is small but clean and warm. There is a subway station downstairs of the hotel, 3 minutes walk to the White House, 10 minutes walk to the National Mall, there are many museums and memorials near the National Mall. You can travel on foot.

The room is small but has everything you need. The use of an environmentally friendly kettle is great. Free coffee and hot drinks are provided 24 hours a day, and WiFi is available. The room was immaculate and very roomy. What stood out the most about the River Inn is the outstanding staff that we encountered at the front desk, the valet, and the restaurant. Friendly and so happy to help out any way they could, the staff made our stay so enjoyable. We’ll be back when in DC!

We always enjoy our stays at The River Inn. One huge perk for us is that it is pet friendly with no extra fee. Walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and great shopping in Georgetown. Each room has a full kitchen too.

The Viceroy was great! Amazing location, walking down 14th street allows you to explore a lot of awesome restaurants and bars. Like Pearls Oyster Place and Barcelona. There was no stocked bar. I was unaware that breakfast was included. The coffee shop did not have cash in its register and the coffee was burned. For $6.60 I expect a good coffee! The price that ******* listed was different from the price that the hotel charged. The hotel tried to charge me more than $900, but the ******* charged me $740. It took me some effort to work with the hotel to correct this which costed my time and damaged my impression to the hotel.

Amazing room with very high quality fixtures. Great mini bar and nespresso in room as well which is becoming a rarity. The hotel boasts a convenient and quiet location. The room and bathroom were well-laid out, and the decor felt relatively new. My only complaint was the old and incredibly noisy window air conditioner unit. It made sleeping impossible and significantly disrupted my rest.
