The Beacon hotel is easy to find when driving from the 495. It’s in a very nice and safe area; it’s close to downtown; about $12 in uber to reach Georgetown for instance. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming.

The room facilities are old and not soundproof at all. The air conditioner is very noisy. There is an even louder noise for unknown reasons. I guess it's the elevator. It's too noisy. The hair dryer is rusty.

The location is absolutely fantastic, though you do sacrifice a bit of room space. It has a very 'Japanese hotel' feel – compact, yet perfectly equipped with everything you need. I think it offers great value for money for travelers.

Stayed here for my first solo trip! Staff was great, easily extended my stay for a night and OJ at the front desk is actually so nice and remembered my name! Always felt so safe and taken care of. Room was sooooo comfy. Microwave and mini fridge in the room! Had the salmon from the restaurant and loved it. Will be staying here in the future when I’m back in DC.

So we booked via a third party portal and due to delays in flight we got there later than expected. Reception was very courteous and welcoming. The Cambria Hotel Convention Center is an excellent choice if you're looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. This newer hotel is conveniently located near a grocery store, coffee shop and a metro station. The views of DC are also spectacular in select rooms (I've stayed here on a couple of occasions). The service was great and the free breakfast was great, but we didn’t see anything additional to the experience, but that might have been the fact that we were in the second building and didn’t see much of the first.

There were no slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, or toothbrush cups. The bathroom door lock was broken and wouldn't close at all! I called in a repairman, who said the problem was serious and they'd have to remove the door or change rooms. The location is excellent, very close to the National Assembly, and while the hotel itself is an older building, it's clean and tidy. Bicycles are available for free rental (helmets are available upon request, of course, free of charge), so be sure to take advantage of them on a nice day.

The hotel leaves mixed feelings. It’s a very atmospheric place — the building used to be a bank — with tasty breakfasts and friendly staff. However, I cannot recommend it. Instead of normal water, only boiling hot water comes out of the taps, making it impossible to wash your hands or take a shower without burning yourself. The hotel is a former bank and we stayed there for two nights. The dinner in the cafe on the first floor was delicious and the waiters were also very nice. The hotel is very close to the White House and you can stroll there.

Very nice hotel, centrally located and easy to access with the Metro. We loved the restaurant.

Location is great. Only caveat is that it’s very close to the fire station so sirens go off 3 to 4 times a day and sometimes middle of the night. Bring ear plugs

It is simply the best hotel / property in D.C. New,Clean, Nicely Decorated Rooms. Brand New Coffee Machines instead of stupid Keurig! Balcony is a great option as you wish to get clean and fresh air.

The room didn't have a bathtub. The room was big and seemed clean. I wish they'd give us more stuff. There wasn't even a bottle of water (wonder if that's how it is everywhere in the US?) The lights were kinda dim at night, and it could use some more. The breakfast was yummy! I love that there were convenient stores like Walgreens and CVS very close by, and they're open until 11 pm.

Since we were staying as a family of four, it was great that we could use the sofa bed. There were also great breakfast restaurants nearby, so we had a comfortable stay. However, the front desk staff were a little unfriendly.

Very nice hotel, the room is small but clean and warm. There is a subway station downstairs of the hotel, 3 minutes walk to the White House, 10 minutes walk to the National Mall, there are many museums and memorials near the National Mall. You can travel on foot.

The room is small but has everything you need. The use of an environmentally friendly kettle is great. Free coffee and hot drinks are provided 24 hours a day, and WiFi is available. Erick at ftonl dest is kind and enthusiastic. This time I stayed in an executive suite for NT$8,200. Although I didn’t sleep well due to time and meeting pressure, I still feel very lucky and it’s great!

The room was immaculate and very roomy. What stood out the most about the River Inn is the outstanding staff that we encountered at the front desk, the valet, and the restaurant. Friendly and so happy to help out any way they could, the staff made our stay so enjoyable. We’ll be back when in DC!

We always enjoy our stays at The River Inn. One huge perk for us is that it is pet friendly with no extra fee. Walking distance to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and great shopping in Georgetown. Each room has a full kitchen too.

The price that ******* listed was different from the price that the hotel charged. The hotel tried to charge me more than $900, but the ******* charged me $740. It took me some effort to work with the hotel to correct this which costed my time and damaged my impression to the hotel.

The room was very pleasant - I would have preferred a higher floor but bed was comfortable and room was clean. Check in was easy - I was at hotel only to sleep so I didn't utilize restaurant or bar area but they looked really nice.

The Viceroy was great! Amazing location, walking down 14th street allows you to explore a lot of awesome restaurants and bars. Like Pearls Oyster Place and Barcelona. Stayed here for my boyfriend‘s birthday. Truly enjoyed it beautiful hotel. The only one thing that I would change is the fact that the elevator doesn’t go straight to the ground floor, you have to stop on a second then go to the ground.
