The Paramount Hotel, Seattle1 / 30
8.9
Seattle, 724 Pine St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is located in a commercial center, making shopping and transportation very convenient. Bottled water is also available, and the service is excellent. It would be worth staying here again.
The location is good, as it's close to the station and has good access to various tourist spots such as Pike Place Market. The room is clean and comfortable, but it would have been better if there are slippers.
Best hotel with the most helpful staff. Thanks Thiago, AJ, and Jennifer for such wonderful hospitality!
The hotel location is good. The hotel room is clean. That's all. There is no microwave in the room. There is no water service. There is no water boiler. The staff usually don't even say hello when they see each other. They are doing construction in the lobby, so I had to check in on the 2nd floor, which was crazy. There are no drinking water or makeup sinks that are usually installed in the lobby....
The location is good, very close to Pike Market. The front desk will provide extension service and drinking water every day. The bed in the room is also very big and comfortable. Although the hotel is relatively old, there are no problems~
Location is unbeatable - nearby Westlake Station (Exit A) of Link Light Rail, and Seattle Convention Centre. Walking distance to attractions (e.g., Pike Place Market, Space Needle) Very helpful & friendly staff: It was my first time to stay at a hotel with all staff (front desk, room service & other staff met in the hotel) are very warm and make me feel to be welcomed. minor comment: heating warm...

Place is under construction. Close to the space needle and walking distance to some restaurants. I always wonder how a large person would fit in their very tiny bathroom. The rest of the room is very nice and clean, comfortable bed and smelled freshly laundered sheets. I just didn't feel safe about the front door lobby and elevator didn't have any safety features, anyone can walk in and go up to...
If location was the only factor in the ratings, this would be a 5 star rating. This hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Space Needle, various museums, and public transit stops. Unfortunately, when we stayed in December 2025, we did not realize the hotel was undergoing major renovations. This meant that the front entrance and most of the lobby was closed to guests, and there were extremely limited...
I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Seattle Downtown, and my overall experience was pretty positive. The location is one of the best features, it’s right in downtown and within easy walking distance to popular spots like the Space Needle, Seattle Center, Amazon HQ, and the beautiful Lake Union. This made it super convenient to get around the city without needing a car most of the time. My room was...
Location is good, near dt area
The receptionist was kind enough to let me check in even though I reached at 12pm! The room is big and clean. It even has a coin laundry too, which is a major plus. The cafe next to the hotel has nice and affordable food. However, the sound proofing can be improved as I can hear people walking past my room.
Always a great stay. I've been here multiple times. Not far from downtown.

Great location and nice staff. Fantastic shower. Wish we had more time!
Good location. Staff was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable and pleasant.
Clean, good location. Staff was all very friendly and super helpful! I think we have found our Seattle hotel!
Very loud- windows not isolated so you hear EVERYTHING outside.
Loved walking in to see Sir Dave Grohl pillow, happens to be a favorite musician! Soft sheets, nice room, nice view. Great location for seeing a band next door at the Moore Theater.
The place was clean and very nice hotel. The location was fantastic. The restaurant was beautiful and food was great. Felt a little rushed at breakfast one day but the next day the service was great. We paid for our breakfast as it was not included with our stay. The hotel staff was great. The key via mobile app never worked and although it was 4 of us we were only given one key. Room was nice but tiny. I was in a corner so maybe that was why it was so small. Front desk staff was friendly. Bar and restaurant closes at 8:00. We planned to have drink after coming back from dinner but it was closed. I had a lovely view of the market and location was very good.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent hotel restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet, even though it is in a busy part of Seattle.
Jesse, the front desk manager was excellent. I mixed up my nights for the stay and he calmly handled it. I very much appreciated it and will return!
This was a great stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a great sleep. Appreciate the attention to details, beautiful hotel.
Room was equipped perfectly everything at the hotel was nice and comfy. Will be staying again for sure!

I stayed at the Arctic Club Hotel a few years ago with my family and we found the hotel to be beautiful inside and out. The lobby makes you feel like you are stepping back into the 1920's. The exterior stands out and is absolutely stunning. The room was fantastic. I loved the charm and amazing aesthetic all around. The history of the hotel is also fascinating! Definitely look up on it before or during...
The room was well appointed and very clean. Centrally located in downtown a few blocks from Pioneer Square and the Public Market. I had dinner my last night, the seared tuna and it was very good. The snacks at the front desk are a little overpriced. I will definitely be back.
We had to wait a long time to check in and we were told they will text us when our room was ready. NO message came through as the desk clerks changed and information was NOT shared. We could of waited until Doomsday for them. We went to them and they said "Oh your suite is ready".
Really great hotel. Beautiful charming building, kind, helpful staff. Great breakfast. The Polar Bar was super- cool with lots of cozy seating options.
Having stayed at another downtown Seattle hotel- that shall remain nameless- a couple weeks prior, this was a great opportunity to appreciate a clear distinction between the two. Arctic Club can be described with one word; Class Make that 2 words; Quiet Class What I mean by that is that is; it is has a somewhat old-timey feel with couches and a pool table (not to mention a giant polar bear) in the...
Friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel is well maintained and the food was surprising good, both at the bar and the complementary breakfast. Must ask to see the Northern Lights Dome Room. Excellent venue. Easy walk to restaurants, Occidental Square, the Water Front, Luman Field, and T-Mobile Park. On our list for future trips.

It is so wonderful to be treated kindly. We were given a discounted rate because we were visiting the Fred Hutch Cancer Center, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Great hotel and we’ll stay here again. Very nice room and friendly/helpful staff. Although located on a main road it was very quiet, with exceptional views of Lake Union and close to several good evening restaurants. Breakfast offerings were adequate. There's about a half dozen Silver Cloud Hotels here in Seattle and another in Portland. Here in Seattle there seems to be nowhere in the city that isn't close to one. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was old style elegant with beautiful dark wood. We did not eat in the restaurant but sat by the fire and it was very pleasant.
Lovely hotel. Lounge was cute. Hotel is a bit old and could use some rennovation like the bathrooms and elevators.
Increase heat in dinning room; the gold curtains in each room don’t meet to keep out light; the south window gold curtains don’t smoothly run on the track; since the room can sleep four people, have at least 4 paper cups for 4 people to have coffee instead of 2; the water heats up to a great temperature, but a sleeve fir each cup would be very helpful and necessary; I called down to the front desk...

The location is great! Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and Lake Union South are all within walking distance. Whole Foods is a three-minute walk, and Westlake Station is a 15-minute walk. I mean look, for the price and the location, it’s hard to beat. Is it the cleanest? Eh. Is the breakfast good? Of course not. But it’s got $19 on-site parking and beds. What more do you need? You can’t be too picky in Seattle.

Very small room but adequate for my needs. Lobby with coffee was very welcome.
Our room and stay received an excellent rating because we reserved a room with a bathroom. We could not imagine having a shared bath and toilet.
Extremely convenient to restaurants and other shopping. Very walkable, a unique antique!
Ballard at its best! No Air conditioning but lots of fans and we were glad to book a room with ensuite bathroom. Our corner room was wonderful! And withthe Farmer's Market right putside, what a great and lively street to enjoy!
Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The only things that could be improved are having to go across the street to get ice and no phone in the room.

Great option for a Seattle hotel. Older hotel but clean and quick check in & out. Inexpensive compared to other options. One mile down hill walk to LUMEN field. Have stayed here for 2 football events. If using light rail to arrive I suggest getting off at capital hill. 1/2 mile down hill walk to hotel.
Not a great area, very old rooms, old TVs with 10 channels, no amenities, no one at front desk. Big rooms, ok “staff” across the street.
Good room, not great. Can’t control the heat. Front desk rude when they’re OPEN, mostly not there. Have to check in across the street.
I stayed there to be in close proximity to a friend who had surgery at Virginia Mason Hospital - was convenient (across the street from the hospital); felt safe in the area around the hospital (but never went more then 2 blocks away); the furniture was dated and a bit worn; the room was clean; shower was hot
The rooms were pretty good and the amenities were decent. The doorman was very polite and helped me with everything I needed. For some reason I was not able to leave for a week and I started seeing things but I felt right at home here nonetheless. Would stay here again.

Working time? I stayed 6 days without problem during biz trip. One thing I am wondering is,, Inn usually closes lobby until 3 PM? I got trunk from airport at 1 PM, door was closed, nowhere to go, went to cafe away from 20 minutes walk.
The room was large, well-equipped, and clean. The hot shower was excellent. The parking lot was spacious and free. It's only a 10-minute drive to the Astronomy Tower and Pike Place Market. I'll definitely stay here again.
We had 4 rooms. Hotel OK. Cheerful, friendly reception staff. 'Buffet' breakfast is 'grab & go' tea/coffee, Tropicana juice, apple/cherry pastry slice in a box. Frequent buses downtown outside. Very busy main road. Noisy throughout night. Neighbourhood is run down with lots of rough sleepers & drug users.
During my weekend trip to Seattle, I had the pleasure of calling this lovely establishment home. I checked in with Ruben who was welcoming and informative about what was going on around town. All in all the rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable and the prices are affordable via proximity to downtown. What more could you ask for?

Great property with amazing views of the sound, Seattle waterfront, and the market. It’s centrally located, plenty of places to walk to, and friendly staff. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean, and the rooms are spacious, well-lit, and well decorated. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting from out of town or anyone looking for a romantic staycation!
Truly an exceptional stay! The hotel is beautiful, the location is amazing, the staff were very friendly and efficient, and the rooms are sizable and comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet for the location. Topping it off - I have stayed in hotels around the world, and this was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you!
Fabulous view! I spent hours looking out my window. Two floors down there is a deck with chairs and tables with fireplaces. I would have gone out but the weather was freezing. Room and bathroom were large and spotless. Friendly front desk staff: Noah, Juliette and Sandra.

I feel bad for adjacent rooms when at 1am, before showering, turned on the exhaust fan which exhumed a most terrifying and deathly sequel as a very tired fan tried its best to move air as loudly as possible. Great value for the money. The stuff was super helpful! Very fast check in, and I had an emergency and couldn't get back to the hotel until late, and they were super kind and packed up my stuff for me. What it lacks in luxury it makes up for with love. Thanks Columbus!
Terrific stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, convenient to bus line.
The management is really conscientious about keeping it clean and quiet. I’ve stayed several times this year and always consistent.
The room was clean. One sheet had a small tear. Things appear either worn or newly updated. It was much quieter than anticipated and on a Saturday night. I was surprised about the $100 refundable deposit. Overall, a good place to rest.
Management and ownership are doing a good job of keeping this property clean and safe.
Old just like the other motels in the area Family run motel. The family was very nice. Definitely an older building. They have done some remodeling inside the rooms without changing the layout. Very old buildings, bathrooms and stairs. On a very busy road that is loud all night long.
