The Omar Khayyam Hotel is in an excellent location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, with plenty to choose from and a kind gentleman serving coffee. The building is well laid out, with a large, comfortable lobby and a beautiful courtyard. As a property it is tranquil and restful. I was unwell during my stay and asked for a larger room on an upper floor, which the manageress gave me. This property has an air of faded grandeur — not a bad thing in a destination such as this. Recommend Restaurant Zolotaya Bukhara, steps away. A very pleasant stay.

Had a memorable experience. One can't ask for a better location in Bukhara. The people are extremely hospitable and kind. Always willing to help. It felt like a homestay.

What a nice find right on a main walking street with lots going on around. Very large rooms but some have a smaller shower. We looked out to a street and also to the inner courtyard. Quiet as most are after the tourist go to their hotels. Good staff. Breakfast was good but boy, was it busy when we went to eat. We timed it with a large group. We made it out alive! There are a lot of nice similar places in great locations that you can hardly go wrong. But, avoid the Hotel Golden Minaret and avoid the major disappointment we had before moving over here.

Awesome heritage hotel beautifully decorated, room are very comfortable & bigger then usual clean reasonably priced very helpful and kind stuff and best part is in the middle of the old town. Highly recommended.

Really confused as to why you would serve people drinks outside of the hotel and then not allow them to use the toilet in the hotel...just meant we left early and so did not spend as much and went somewhere else.

First and foremost, the hotel's unbeatable location right in the center of the historic district is its biggest advantage. Step outside, and you're immediately amidst the takis and madrasahs. While the rooms are simple, they are wonderfully spacious, ensuring a perfectly comfortable and hassle-free stay.
The breakfast area was a personal highlight for me. Specifically, a corner of the terrace offered a charming Chaikhana-style raised seating area, and I chose to have my breakfast there on both days. The atmosphere naturally encouraged lively conversations with other guests, and I truly enjoyed the liberating and open feeling it provided.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The room is small and clean. Breakfast was very good. The price is more expensive. If you stay in a similar hotel outside the city, you will save one third. The front desk arranged us in a room facing the street. The noise on the street kept us from sleeping at 11 o'clock. I told the front desk that there might be another room available the next day. The next day he said there was nothing he could do.

The hotel is located in the old town so all the sights to see and markets are at walking distance. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They did not provide any electric kettle or tea coffee in the room but gave us hot water when we asked for it. The breakfast spread was good and they had a lot of packed snacks for takeaway also which was a saving grace specially for vegetarian travelers. The staff was friendly. Overall had a good stay and would surely recommend it.
