Devon Begi Hotel in Bukhara

The hottest in temperature hotel we stayed in throughout our tour of Uzbekistan The court yard room i was first offered was like a box very dark the court yard area needed large fans as there was no air movement I asked to be moved to another room which ended up being a family room The bathroom had hot pipes going under the floor and the sink wooden surround was not stable hanging from the wall one small window even the toilet seat was hot which i have never experienced in all my years of travel Unfortunately, i became unwell with a tummy bug as others had in our group and trying to go to the toilet in that awful bathroom i will never forget. Dirty sheets i had to ask to be changed if you wanted to charge your phone only one socket by the bed so that you could not boil a kettle for tea or have the side light on I didnt like no carpet in the room it was the only hotel like this The two young chaps there were very hospitable lending me their phone charger and being present in the dining room nothing was too much trouble. Getting me a kettle to make tea. But i would not go back unlike the first hotel in Khiva with swimming pool and area to have a drink outside We did not eat in this hotel only breakfast i have seen other reviews but this was my honest opinion
