It's a great hotel in an old Jewish house from the 16th century. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the decoration is amazing. The only downside is a very small shower that could use some modernization.

The staff is great and always helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Uzbekistan.

I really enjoyed my short stay in this peaceful and characterful place. Tucked away down a side street in the Jewish quarter and only a few steps away from the beautiful sights and bustling restaurants and cafes. Rooms are well equipped and spotless with comfy beds and excellent showers. The breakfast was varied and the coffee good. The peaceful central courtyard is a nice place to sit and contemplate! All the staff were pleasant and helpful too. Highly recommended.

Very nice boutique hotel. Shower was large with excellent water pressure, beds comfortable and the free breakfast provided the basics. Excellent location for touring the old town.

This was our favourite stay on our 10 day tour of Uzbekistan. Set just off the Main Street in the old Jewish Quarter, it was a quiet oasis in the bustle of the city. The rooms are all individually decorated and full of character . The hotel was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The staff were very helpful and we were able to get some laundry done. The hotel is close to all the main sites and I’d really recommend.

I stayed here as part of an organised trip in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, we were there for 2 nights. My room was on the ground floor and while it was warm, I was able to have all the windows open for a nice breeze. The room had everything I needed and it was a very short walk to the town. A really nice authentic place to stay.

Great hotel! Don’t be fooled by the reception, it is spectacular on the inside and the rooms make you feel like a khan!

Lovely boutique hotel, tucked down a side road in this fascinating town on the Silk Road route. Was conveniently located for visiting all the key tourist historic sites. Also many good restaurants and places for drinks or snacks all around. Lastly if you like shopping you won’t be disappointed. Our room was of a good size and had lovely decorations. Included kettle and fridge in room.

What a lovely charming Guest House. This is a family run Guest House set in the old Jewish quarter of Bukhara. Great location for walking everywhere. The rooms were very individual. All were charming and very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable. The buildings were set around lovely patios. It was totally charming and very peaceful. The location is perfect for walking around the old city of Bukhara. Nearby there are restaurants and plenty of shopping opportunities. There is a restaurant on site. We only had breakfast though. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Tea and coffee and fruit juices were available as well. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely place.

We loved our stay in Sasha and Son. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the young man in the breakfast room. He seemed to spend a bit of time chasing people who'd left bags or phones in the breakfast room! The room was very comfortable, with good beds and enough furniture to place our luggage and bits & pieces. The room decoration was great and made us feel very special. We felt that the curtains could have been thicker as the morning light woke us each morning. The bathroom was good, although not enough shelf room for toiletry bags or rails for towels. It was nice to have a walk-in shower rather than a shower over a bath. The hotel has numerous small - and not-so-small - flights of stairs. There are only a couple of rooms adjacent to reception that require just a couple of steps to access, otherwise be prepared to carry your suitcase up and down flights of stairs. A number of rooms are accessed by spiral staircases - gladly that wasn't our room. I don't think I would have made it up that with my suitcase. The hotel is so well located, just on the edge of the old city with a short walk to the central square and onwards to the markets. Being close to the edge of the city meant you didn't need to walk far from your transport, with your suitcase down the pedestrian alley - maybe 50m?
