Vinpearl Discovery 3 Phu Quoc in Phu Quoc Island

I had an amazing stay at Vinpearl Resort & Spa. The property is beautiful with stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile.

The breakfast spread had a great variety and the food quality was excellent. The pool and beach access made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend Vinpearl Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway.

The hotel comprise of 2-4 bedroom villas and the landscaping has a tv drama suburban vibe to it. The villas are spacious but the hygiene was just fair. Our kids developed rashes after frequent contact with the couches, which looked quite dated. The amenities were also so so, no body lotion / insect repellent as most hotels would have provided. The pool water was also a bit dirty, with quite a lot of dead bugs in it. The main pool was also small for a hotel this scale. I would say on the overall it was ok for the price and for my kids to experience a pool villa, but the entire Vinpearl complex is dated and kinda eerie. Staff were helpful and nice. But the hardware and maintenance were really three star max.

I felt very relaxed while visiting the island. The island feels large. There are full day tours of the islands and great options too! My family decided not to participate in any tours because we wanted to relax on the island instead. But we’d love to visit Phu Quoc again in the future!

The hotel room was quite spacious and clean. However, the facilities were very limited, and getting to the beach was inconvenient. There wasn't much to do or explore within the hotel itself, which made it a bit monotonous.

A great hotel for families! The rooms are well-equipped with excellent facilities, and the private pool is a lot of fun. Service was always prompt whenever we needed anything, and the hotel breakfast was delicious.

Our experience here has been fantastic! Our host for the beachside lobster and BBQ, Day Duc, made us feel welcome and took wonderful care of us. What could be better than an incredible dinner on the beach? Oh, how about dinner on the beach with a live DJ AND a fire show!! Delicious food, outstanding ambiance- a must-do experience! I apologize for not sharing pictures of the food but we were so excited that we ate without taking pictures of it. But, it was super high quality as well! A big Thank you to the team, chefs, and entertainment for a memorable evening. We will be back....if we ever leave!

Great hotel with very big room with a great view from balcony even though some of the furniture can be abit outdated. Staff are amazing, very friendly and would go above and beyond if you need anything and a very big swimming pool too. Buffet breakfast are also amazing with lots of different food. Suitable for all ages.

This hotel is huge! I didn't expect a random booking to turn out to be so well-located and great value for money. The front desk and bell staff were particularly excellent. However, I found the room service to be a bit lacking after I tipped them – they didn't even take out the trash after cleaning.

On our first day, we arrived at the hotel after 11 PM and ordered room service. It was a bit slow but not expensive, comparable to the breakfast. If you're looking to save some money, just wait for breakfast, which is absolutely fantastic. It spans two floors, so there's no waiting for a table.

We stayed at the VinPearl resort for three nights to do the whole works, the theme park, the waterpark and the safari park. Lots to do…

The hotel is big, lots of room with a warm friendly welcome from the front desk. They take you photo at check in. This is for the breakfast service in the morning, apparently.

We had an ocean view room which was very spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedding although on one day we did find a few holes in the under sheet.

The hotel is early 2000 so some of the fixtures and fittings may appear a little dated, but they all worked, even the analogue AC control. Lovely. Hate those digital things!

Because of the age of the hotel the power sockets are all in the wrong place and not enough of them.

We like this hotel and can recommend it highly. The rooms and the hotel are bright clean and very spacious everywhere. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. There are lots of tables, but it can get a little crowded where the food is all centralised.

A fantastically large pool that never seems to get full due to its size. Not really enough sun beds for the size of the hotel however.

You are right on an excellent sandy beach. Very nice.

There’s a free shuttle bus to the park attractions, reception will give you a timetable.

Beware. If you are leaving from the Vin Wonders theme park at closing, then it gets chaotic and there is a dangerous scrum for the free buses. There is nobody supervising this and there is not really enough busses and you will struggle to get a Grab. There are plenty of touts, but you should be careful of these. Take your choice.

In all we liked our stay at VinPearl and would liked to have stayed a day or two more.

I was a bit hesitant before booking, seeing all the bad reviews online. But when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this sea-view villa was! It was very spacious for our group of two adults and three children. The hotel service was also great. Although there was no Chinese-speaking staff, the front desk's English accent wasn't too strong.

The only drawback was the lack of cutlery in the kitchen. We bought some snacks back and had nothing to eat them with!

There were quite a few Koreans and Westerners around. The iced coffee at breakfast was so good, I drank it for four days straight. It was truly excellent.

We booked the Sheraton villa next door for the following four days. Honestly, even though both hotels are operated by the same owner, the Peach Hotel is noticeably much better in terms of service and facilities, and it's also more conveniently located. The breakfast there was very similar to Peach, with many of the same dishes. But there were too many Indians, if you know what I mean...

I personally found the pool to be very clean. It was just a few steps from the villa to the beach. The best part was having trees by the pool, so it wasn't too sunny.
