VAN Hotel Restaurant Complex in Sevan

Oh, Sunny Armenia! They truly say that everything is special in Armenia! But truly Armenia opens with its hospitality. My acquaintance began at the airport, where we (with his wife) met Misha! The man who took us from Gyumri airport and drove to the hotel. By the way, 170 kilometers one way. It began with a call from Moscow (when we had already ceased to understand how to get from the airport to the hotel, because we had tried many possibilities). I called the hotel and talked about the transfer. A few hours later they called me back, to name a price and specify the time of arrival! I will tell you so, only agreement for the transfer was already a holiday for us, but the named price ... We heard that it’s customary in Armenia to bargain, but not this time it’s a fact!
We arrived at sunset, and on the way the sun went down with everything. But this fact did not stop Misha, after my mentioning of the film “Mimino”, he took us to Dilijan, the city of which was the hero of Frunzik Mkrtchyan. Oh, yes, this actor was born in Gyumri, to which we flew, and the statue (with Rubik, Valiko and Volokhov) and a spring with delicious water in Dilijan. He brought us to taste the water and show the monument! Has the previously negotiated price changed? Not! Here, good is answered only with good!
Upon arrival at the hotel we were met by the owner - Sinbad. The truth that he is the owner, we did not immediately and accidentally. He behaved very hospitable! With bags in hand we stood on the threshold of the hotel is not more than 2 minutes. We were given the keys to another room, which turned out three times larger and much cooler !!! Why? Because they are such good people! Upon entering the room, we find ourselves in a large living room, where two armchairs, a sofa, a table, several chairs, a large TV and a chest of drawers are arranged. No, really, it all costs, and there is still a lot of space in the living room ... Also in this room is a huge room with a shower room and a bathroom. I will not describe all the details of this room, but I will say this, everything and even more =) Bedroom. This room, I'm always happy to leave =) And here all the fun! Socket next to the bed on either side of the bed tables with shelves. The bed itself whole (not assembled from two small) and HUGE! Beautiful mattress, and more at night I do not need anything!
In the morning, when you look at the shore of beautiful Sevan, you want coffee, but women in hotels are ready to surprise you with their culinary abilities, so much so that simple coffee really seems a little =) In the morning, Misha took us away from the hotel and drove to nearby attractions. Honestly, I didn't want to go to Totef, because The next day, the event should have taken place because of which we arrived at Sevan and it is very difficult. So you did not have time to look around, as Misha and his white swallow rolled with us all day. How much can a whole day cost for a person and his car in Moscow? In St. Petersburg? In the bottom? Reader, here it is inexpensive!
For those who want to sit comfortably and comfortably in the evening, with a bottle of Armenian wine, Sevan beer, local moonshine or 20-year-old Ararat - there is an opportunity to "rent" a separate room at the hotels.
Heavy event, which I mentioned earlier - swimming through Sevan, organized by X-Waters. The event takes place in terms of another hotel, but friends, another hotel in Sevan do not! Here a smile is answered with a smile, here is true Sevan, and not a conveyor of “guests” coming and going. At the Van Sevan Hotel, every guest is a jan, but the reason is not that YOU "paid money to stay here", but to accept the culture of the inhabitants of Sevan. I spent a couple of nights here. the owner and staff were very nice and helped me book a taxi as well at reasonable price. Food was simple but great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
