Norekats Hotel in Yerevan

We stayed 3nights. The room is clean. I like the interior and the Minimalist style of the room. Spacious and they have blow dry and a universal socket we used for charging. The towels are good. They have big mirror and cabinet which is useful. Overall, we like the room but the service and the staff needs to improve. Here’s why:

1. The person at the reception doesn’t speak English so it’s hard to communicate with him. We only use google translate but still unable to meet our needs.

2. Our travel agency booked for 3 adults. So we are expecting that the room was set for 3people. But this is not the case. Only one double bed and a sofa. The staff only give us one blanket, one sheet and one pillow. Even the plates and utensils are for 2people only. Towels as well. And also my mom is 65 years old. She had hard time to go up and down the stairs because there’s no elevator and they put us on the highest floor which is 4th floor, Room 11.

3. They have poor breakfast system. The staff said they serve breakfast at 9:15am the earliest. But it is late. The next day, I came down again to remind them the breakfast. And it’s the same food they serve yesterday. We didn’t eat at all. The 3rd day, they didn’t serve us breakfast. I don’t know if it’s really like that,but we paid for this food. We are so disappointed of this service.

4. We used to get room cleaning every day in other hotel that we stayed. But here, On first night,they didn’t clean the room. On the 2nd night,we hang the tag out outside the door that says,please clean my room, but no one did. The 3rd night, we are checking out the next day, and that’s the time I saw the cleaner waiting for us to vacate the room. So annoying. They let us sleep here for 3nights like that.

5. They don’t give complimentary water at the room. But you can buy at the grocery store. It’s walking distance. Like 5mins walk. And there is nearby bakery,restaurant and pharmacy.

Additionally, if you want to go to attractions and parks, there is no nearby. You need to go by taxi. You can book at Yandex app. You need to buy SIM card once you arrived at the airport. From hotel to Republic, we pay 1400dram.
