The hotel is very nice and the location is good. The staff is also helpful, however it has hidden fees that you would not expect from a 4 star hotel in the 21st century.

If you want to bring a toddler here and you won't have a travel cot. Be prepared for a $30€ nightly rental fee. Alcohol prices are also high but that's to be expected given the local tax. The hotel does charge a daily fee, after 3 nights we were charged €21.50 and it wasn't shown on the invoice (just written in pen). Don't expect free internet, it's a daily fee and the signal is poor throughout the hotel so your data may not work as you would expect. Entrance to the outdoor playground costs €15 for limited hours. I would expect a kettle and a fridge in the rooms. You can also rent a fridge for a day for €4. Even though the hotel claims to be family friendly, the hidden fees make it worthless.

Otherwise the hotel is nice (Austrian style), for a fee you have a nice wellness which is reasonable. And the rooms have a nice view and the possibility of a balcony. The overall impression from the visual side is nice and I have to highlight the breakfasts which are rich.

Title: Disappointing management, hidden fees, and financial sketchy behavior (see photos)We had a non-refundable booking (€114.56). In general, the room itself was great: very clean, spacious, with a beautiful view, and we have absolutely no complaints about the room condition. Also, the regular cleaning and serving staff were very friendly and polite.However, the management and pricing transparency are an absolute disaster. Upon arrival, before check-in, the administrator simply put us before the fact that we must pay an unannounced €38 pet fee (more than 33% of our room price). When we questioned this hidden fee, he literally slammed the room cards onto the desk with negative emotions and told us: "If you don't like it, you can look for another hotel. It's not our problem, it's Booking's problem that the price isn't there, go complain to them." He completely shifted the blame to the website, knowing we were exhausted after a long drive with a child and had a non-refundable status to force this payment.To make matters worse, after we paid the €38, they refused to give us a receipt immediately. We had to go up to our room, wait, and explicitly demand the receipt again. Only after some time did they finally bring the bill paper to our room. This feels extremely sketchy and unprofessional. To justify this absurd €38 fee, they gave us a cheap small dog towel and a tiny packet with literally 3 pieces of food as a "gift" (attached in photos). My large dog barely fits on it!On top of that, the hotel charges an extra fee just to let a child use the outdoor playground. To enter the playground, you must pay separate entry fees for the child and separately for the adult accompanying them! There is no way to access the playground for free, and there is no free alternative or basic play area for kids to spend energy. It is absolute nonsense that after paying for a 4-star room, you must pay just to let your child play. They also demand €5/day for Wi-Fi.Furthermore, they intentionally checked us into a room with a broken fridge. When we reported it, staff immediately brought a huge Kesser camping cooler on wheels without even checking the room's fridge, proving they knew about the defect beforehand (see photo). There was no kettle in the room either, and we received an extremely cheap plastic Tristar appliance after asking (see photo).I have never encountered such terrible service, rude shifting of responsibility, shady receipt handling, and hidden charges for literally everything. For Austria, this is deeply shocking and surprising. I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel!

! 28 eur for a dog
! 30 eur for a 1-year-old (no baby bed or 3rd bed provided nor needed, so even when you have you own travel cot, you will pay 30 eur)
! 5 eur for “free” wifi
! 10 eur for a playground per person per day

The worst accommodation I’ve ever experienced. Feels like a 2-star hotel, and the owner is extremely rude. Definitely not a place for a pleasant stay.

I had a reservation for two rooms. When we arrived there was only one room available and the owner wanted to put all five of us in one large room with one bathroom, for the same price. He finally said we could get 15% off on food to make up the difference. This was just not acceptable. The rooms were prepaid and he refused to give us our money back. Fortunately, we booked through a third party and they intervened and we finally received a refund. If you have a reservation here it means nothing. Avoid this place at all costs.

Arriving at the hotel, we were told that the room was not ready yet. We could go and eat something and then come back. When we returned, it became clear that there was no room available for us. And whether we could go to the village for a night (we didn't have to pay anything extra for that, they said) and come back the next day for the most beautiful room they have (Which was unbelievable, considering the fact that 6 families had already been sent to another hotel). The boss/manager didn't look at us anymore. Let an employee solve "the problem" but that he himself was outside partying with the other guests. We were treated in a cold and unfriendly way, it was pretended that it was great that they had arranged another hotel in the village and that we didn't have to pay extra for that. No further compensation. All in all a real disgrace!
