Best Hotels in Austria

Have tested some 5 or 6 hotels in the area and the breakfast has been by far the best in this hotel. Majority of the rooms has been renovated this year with additional balconies

Mandatory to mention is the level and quality of the meals. If you do like Steak you will love this place. One of the family members is running the kitchen and it simply very well done

When entering you immediately realize that this is a family business - so much love and passion for details everywhere you look

Overall this is the place to stay if you are in the area in the very center of Reutte

Also closer to airport , trams and ttain stations. Also have a good coffee bar and restaurant down and a decent breakfast. Also , the hotel has luggage storage facility post check out

The location is great, about a 20-minute walk to the train station, but very close to the city center. You'll basically need no additional transportation costs

There are plenty of cafes nearby, and the food is quite good. The supermarket is closed on weekends, but other shops are open, so you don't need to worry about finding something to eat

Daily housekeeping and a kettle are provided. The staff were very helpful at check-out, asking about my stay and my travel experiences

The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the main attractions. The place is clean and hygienic, and the buffet breakfast has a wide variety of food

It was equipped with a refrigerator, air conditioning, bathtub, hair dryer, espresso machine, bathrobes, and other amenities. I asked for an electric kettle for tea and it was brought right away

The room was very satisfactory, and it felt like living in a palace. The location was convenient, close to the bus and subway, and next to the State Opera and the Vienna Golden Hall, which were within walking distance

Great place to stay. Beautiful appartments, friendly staff, very clean, modern, fast WiFi, silent environment but still very close to the funicular and the center. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed for 2 nights, the room was clean, daily clean up was fine. Breakfast was not buffet, but you could order whatever you want except two on menu

The services for the first two days were good, the third day was poor in restaurant, like forcing you out. Location is good for reaching any spots

There's a gym and a pool downstairs too. Breakfast really depends on the main course you order; after a few days, I found the English breakfast and Eggs Benedict to be quite good

The ironing board was horrible, it could have been fallen as the iron stand was imbalanced, no cotton pad covered, it was all worn out that any homes would be thrown away! At the end, we don’t enjoy our stay there at all, we chose this because it was new and opened

However, the light switches were weird, once the lights were shut for sleep, u would have to turn on the central button in order to turn on the bathroom for toilet in the middle of the night, that would obviously affect others in sleep

it was completely out of our expectation as it is operated under the brand Hilton. It wasn’t a 4-star hotel for sure, will not recommend and will not buy hotel rooms from Hilton anymore due to the lack of confidence now

The restaurant was not open after breakfast, couldn’t even get lunch, tea, or dinner as the hotel is away from the train station 15 mins, it was improper and inconvenient to customers

The beds and pillows were the worst case, the mattresses had zero support, needless to say the feathery pillows

The room was big enough and fit for two travellers to put their luggage

The hotel is very convenient for shopping and visiting attractions. It is a few steps away from Shanghai Restaurant, which is very good. Recommended

It's a bit unpleasant, so I simply go to many restaurants around the hotel for better value for money. The hotel is in a good location, convenient for shopping, attractions, and dining are all nearby

The location is ideal. The staff are friendly. Free minibar with lots of drinks to enjoy. Free water and wine for enjoyment from 1-10pm daily is a pleasant surprise in the lounge. The room is spacious and lovely.

There is also a welcome wine in each room, which is a bottle of delicious white wine. In addition, the room, decoration, design is very exquisite, and the room size is very suitable

The Leo Grand Hotel is really hard to fault. I don't know why it is only a 4-star hotel, but it is a 5-star hotel from facilities to services. First of all, the location is great

An excellent experience. In Europe, it's great to find a place with such convenient transportation, making every attraction easily accessible. There are also plenty of great food options nearby. Simply fantastic!

Very convenient location in city centre of Vienna and 100m  to subway station Herrengge.  Good hotel service , clean and good breakfast . Highly recommend this hotel .

In these days where even a five stars classification is not a guarantee of quality, this hotel was a pleasant surprise, providing a true hospitality experience

The position is unrivalled, being only minutes of walking distance away to Stephansdom, Hofburg and other important points of interest

Most importantly, the staff was absolutely pleasant, and accommodated our requests quickly and professionally

Very good place with a good location

The service at the front desk was excellent, but unfortunately that’s where the positives ended. The room felt outdated and not properly cleaned (there was hair in the bathroom and a dead fly on the floor)

This is not a luxury hotel but top in its category! Nice and clean rooms. Kids playground available inside and small outside. Breakfast is good.

I want to write for families: this is a great hotel. A place for kids to get their wiggles out (climbing room !!), cheese pizzas, apple juice -- all the things you need for a smooth arrival after a long day of travel

We booked family room (Family & Friends room consisting of 2-rooms with adjoining corridor, bathroom and toilet) for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) en route our journey between Croatia and Poland

For a 3-star hotel, I can say unequivocally that the facilities deserves a 4-star rating

Only stayed for the one night , however all staff were helpful and room was clean and bed comfortable.. would definitely stay again and for longer

It was good stay especially breakfast and take-away coffee. However I found the lack of commodities like toothbrush, shaver and so on. According to shampoo, body-wash, and body-cream, we have to demand at the reception

I had a delightful stay at Hotel A-ROSA Ifen Kleinwalsertal and would absolutely recommend it. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a stunning location and views that made waking up feel like a treat every morning

Food was very good overall — breakfast offered a great selection to start the day, and evening dining was outstanding. The spa and wellness facilities are excellent and made relaxation effortless

We were told all hard cheeses were pasteurized, which isn’t correct, and that kind of misinformation can be risky for expectant mothers. Either train the team on this or add clear product descriptions next to items

Also, we had to leave very early (7 am) and requested a takeaway breakfast; while the staff took our preferences, the takeaway bag arrived broken, without cutlery, and contained only basic items

The suite felt very comfortable overall, the bathroom floor heating was a nice touch, and the afternoon snacks were appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay

Do not expect a real Steigenberger. It is quite old and old fashioned. Excellent breakfast and restaurant quality. Location is very bad as is it far away from city center.

Nice hotel by the river Danube. It's slightly out of the way and have limited restaurants or convenience stores around. Otherwise it's pretty good

Enjoyable Stay Always an enjoyable stay. Clean, comfortable, good food and good staff. A little out of town but ideal for work purposes. A 20 min walk into town along the Danube or there is a bus service nearby.

The people working on the reception and restaurant are not so nice sometimes,,, the breakfast is not so special also. Also some amenities are lacking. It is not good access.

Only fault is the erratic WiFi. It often dropped, making streaming a frustrating experience. The onsite restaurant makes decent pizza at a good price - a decent option if you don't fancy going out

The sauna is very nice (bathrobes can be borrowed from reception) – the relaxation area (inner courtyard) had a strong smell of sewage, making it impossible to lie down comfortably

Conveniently located near the Museumsquartier, Volkstheater, and Burgtheater. The room was clean (although it had a slightly strange odor)

It would be nice to have more charging options (USB, inductive) – just one outlet per side of the bed is a bit limited. The gym is okay, but doesn't have too many machines

The check-in and check-out process was friendly and efficient

The bathroom vs to the room was more roomy, but overall design of the room was very disappointing. We almost thought of find another hotel, but it was holiday time so that was impossible

The price is similar to the White Horse Hotel, and children are charged separately. But the advantage is the good location. Facing Lake Wolfgang

I spent all my energy in a great place. (I recommend the best place) Be sure to visit Austria's Wolfgang and Scalaria Sunset Bing.

Excellent view of the St. Wolfgang lake. Room facilities are great. Having breakfast just beside the lake is a huge plus.

This one didn't stand out as much, but the breakfast was really good, so I'd give it a try

The room withThe breakfast place is next to the lake where you can eat breakfast while enjoying a panoramic view of the lake. The hotel is also opposite the bus station if you go to Salzburg or Bad Ischl

I was here for a business trip with my company for just one night, I would have loved to stay more to enjoy the place. The only problem is that often rains on the lake, but that s nobody s fault :)

Best dinner experience we had on our two week trip throughout South Germany and surrounding countries. The place is top in it's location and superb with customer service

When we checked in on Sat, the 2nd floor room allocated to us had a missing toilet door knob and a choked drainage pipe. Water from the shower could not drain and overflowed onto the bathroom area

Clean hotel, great location and reasonable price

The hotel gave us a room on the 6th floor, only for us to discover that the heater in the 2nd for room was actually not working!  The 6th floor room had a working heater!

We had the absolute best experience at the Hotel Sacher in Salzburg. After driving for nine hours from Switzerland, with the last couple of hours in the rain and the dark, we were greeted by Sylvester at 10:30 p

We loved seeing him as we headed out to dinner and when we came back home. He said we were his "favorite guests" but I suspect everyone is. That is the Hotel Sacher, it embodies the best of what Austria is

From start to finish, our stay was near perfect. Service is top- when I called down after testing the mattress and finding it too firm, two housekeepers arrived in minutes with fluffy mattress pads and extra pillows

We had a great view of the river, a fireplace, a super clean bathroom, a strong and hot shower - everything impeccable. Truly accommodating and kind staff. Sylvester made such a warm and wonderful impression on us

Sylvester was a shining beacon of everything this hotel is. He quickly and happily grabbed all of our bags, two huge suitcases, three backpacks and a duffle bag and had them in our room before we even got there
