We would have had a better review of the hotel, ignored the warm, noisy room, and enjoyed the positives of the hotel except for the very unusual behaviour we received around paying our bill. The day before we checked out, we had a bill stuffed in our door, followed by 2 phone calls at 9.30 pm at night. The following morning on check out I raised this with whom I presume was the owner, I don’t think she got the message, this is unacceptable, change your payment terms or leave your customers to settle on departure. We won’t be back.

Spent a week here Feb half term with our sons (19 and 17). Rooms 218 and 219. Loved this hotel. Great breakfast. Very comfortable bed and spacious room and balcony. Fantastic spa and pool area for relaxing at the end of the day. Ski hire and boot room convenient, warm and spacious. Restaurant excellent (book in advance though). Brilliant restaurant choice in Mayrhofen generally so it was great to only be bed and breakfast so that we could get out in the evenings. We stayed at Strass previously which is also excellent and better located for the Penken lift, but for us Mannis is better as the the pool area is a bit more for the grown ups rather than being full of children and we preferred the food at Mannis. Crystal website says that it is a 2 minute walk to Penken - it is at least 5 minutes in your ski boots. My quickest time was 7 minutes. Not a huge issue but don't be misled into thinking that the Penken lift is on your doorstep. You can take the bus outside the hotel to Ahorn lift (only a few minutes drive) which we only found out on the last day. It was a great lift and ski area and we will definitely go there next year. We have already booked Mannis for the four of us to return next February half term we loved it so much.

Had a week here in the snow. Had the suite at the front of the hotel. The room itself was spacious. A bath would have been nice. Unfortunately the room was so hot but couldn't have the windows open as the room was on the front main street and was so noisy with revellers. Returned home quite tired. The food and staff were pretty good. The spa was also ridiculously hot so couldn't spend too long in there. There was a large group of men always in there who dominated things. As a non skier it was a real shame the spa didnt open until 3pm.

Had a great stay. Our room was clean and spacious and turned over daily. The pool and spa on the roof is simply amazing after a days skiing. We were provided breakfast each morning which again was really lovely with a great variety of options. Great location and a round a 5 minute walk to the Penken lift. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The staff were also friendly

We've just returned from a lovely week at Mannis. We have been once before - for a summer holiday in 1999! Thought it was about time to come back. We had a great time as this is a lovely hotel. There's nothing really to fault here. The staff deliver an excellent service. Food is great. Spa is a lovely place to chill. There's a bus service from outside the hotel to the ski lifts, although the main Penken lift is only a short walk away anyway. The village has lots of bars and cafes - some more lively than others. We ate at Mannis a couple of nights (and a couple of lunches), but the rest of the time ate elsewhere as there's lots of choice. We found that the hotels are priced similarly to the cafes. The breakfast offered something for everyone and no need to go out hungry. The boot room is clean and modern, with individual lockers (that actually lock). The spa was welcome each night after skiing; the swimming pool was toasty. We tried the various saunas and steam rooms. Our only complaint about the spa was the presence of a large group of men who were very loud and many insisted on facetime calls at great volume. Not great in a restful environment. The skiing was good, but you have to climb a bit. Lifts all very efficient. All in all we had a great week away.

Just arrived back from a fantastic stay at this hotel. A group of eight checked in with a warm welcome and minimum of fuss. Perfectly positioned hotel a few seconds from numerous restaurants and bars. The hotel itself was spotless throughout and had an outdoor bar area with heating and table service where the staff provided excellent service. Breakfast buffet superb and once more the staff worked tirelessly. Rooms very clean and tidy and the boot room modern and easy to access. All in all ten out of ten for the hotel and all the staff.

Excellent hotel. Everything is clean in hotel, room, spa etc... Breakfast very tasty. Excellent spa with top roof swimmingpool and jacuzzi. Hotel is quiet at night. Very friendly staff. Ski room is good as well, with lift that can use only with room card.

We booked this hotel with half board through Inghams for our ski trip. The hotel itself was fine, our rooms were a little tired but the spa area was great. The problem started at dinner on the Sunday night. The hotel wasn't busy for half board maybe around 12-14 tables but everything seemed disorganised. We ordered a round of drinks, these took around 30 minutes to arrive, our starters took forever to come and they came to take our plates away and advised that they would bring our mains out, the problem being no one had take our order for our main meal. We ordered our mains and they came out relatively quick. Three of us ordered veal, this was over done and cut like a door stop and one of the group had spaghetti, this had clearly been sitting under a hot lamp as it had gone crispy. At the end of the meal, we were asked how our meal was and we gave our opinion and the staff member didn't say anything and just walked away. We left to go to our rooms, 2 of our group went outside for some air and were accosted by the female owner on the way in, asking them how dare they say that the food was overdone and is not 4 star and that we should find somewhere else to stay for the rest of our trip! I don't know if she was stressed regarding something else or just took a dislike to us but this was the end of the relationship with the hotel and we moved to a lovely hotel round the corner the next day.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in Jan/Feb, would definitely recommend the restaurant. Amazing food can’t recommend enough but make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
