After having a bad experience at another hotel in the area, we continued our vacation at this hotel. This was our second time visiting, and it turned out to be just as good as the first. The staff’s attention is very friendly from the very beginning. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are really good—well-prepared and made with high-quality ingredients. The staff was always attentive to our stay, making us feel truly on vacation. The room was comfortable and of a good size for two people. I really enjoyed the outdoor pool; the views are beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We also had a relaxation massage, which was good. We will definitely return to this place soon. Personally, I think it is worth it; I honestly can’t recall any situation that felt uncomfortable. Possibly, it would be good if they added facial treatments at the spa, in line with the services they currently offer, as at the moment they only provide massages. Overall, it is a place that clearly takes care to ensure guests feel comfortable and satisfied.

A lovely stay that was business and pleasure. The location worked well for us as we had a car, but the bus also works well. Beautifully quiet with brilliant facilities and fantastic dining.

We had an amazing stay at ZillergrundRock Luxury Mountain Resort. This family run hotel has been evolving for five generations and you really feel that mix of Austrian tradition and modern luxury. The architecture is stunning and the location is incredibly unique, hidden away in the valley and feeling more like a piece of art than a hotel. The spa areas are a real highlight, especially the rooftop pools and the event sauna, which are not to be missed. We visited mainly for Rocky Seven, the resort’s signature restaurant, and it completely lived up to the hype. Head chef Saul Sultan uses Tyrolean ingredients with international inspiration, and the food was creative without being over complicated. My stand out favourites were: “Duck on an Alpine Journey” spectacular. Cooked to perfection, no fat, beautifully balanced flavours with a delicate winter truffle note. “A Prawn with a Strong Mountaineering Spirit” delicate and delicious. Tyrolean-grown prawns… wow. Who knew this was even possible? “Valley and Mountains” was visually stunning, like looking into a jungle from above. Zillertal sheep’s cheese with an incredible mix of textures and flavours, straight out of a National Geographic photo. Service was warm, friendly and relaxed, which made the whole experience even better. This is going to be popular so book way in advance !!!!

The Zillergrundrock resort offers excellent facilities including the modern and extensive spa and swimming pool which overlook beautiful scenery. The food is of a quality high standard and the tasting menu offers a varied,sumptuous and delicious choice pared with excellent wines.The hospitality team are friendly and cannot do enough to be of assistance.

We spent a week in the Zillergrund Mountain restort hotel. Room had view on the Ziller river. Very nice hotel. Food is great with plenty of choice and variety. Ideal if you are looking for a relaxing holiday in nature. They offer yoga and relaxation sessions as well. (the hotel is in a very quiet street and 2 km from Mayrhofen - you can walk to the village) The hotel has a beautiful spa , rooftop swimming pool and indoor one. the Spa garden is to be recommended too. It has something for everyone.

This is my second review and second stay, we first came here in October 24 and just came back with our two youngest children for their 21st with their girlfriends for 6 days as a surprise, thankfully we got it right and they were as impressed as us, basically they were blown away, the headline is we departed today having booked to come back next month with our eldest kids again and also in March, our youngest have also made separate bookings which basically say’s it all, the locations is nothing short of spectacular, the hotel is extremely comfortable, the staff are brilliant and saving the best to last the food is just unbelievable, I absolutely love this place, I think last time I said just don’t change a thing, that said my only complaint is please the stop smoking around the roof pool area, if you are a non smoker and for kids etc trying to chill out and the person in front of you or next to you is inconsiderately smoking it totally ruins the ambience, if people really need to do this give them a designated area or better still send them up the mountain to do it, it’s so unnecessary and frankly rude, but a very easy fix for the hotel.

We recently visited this place as a group of six for a skiing trip, and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. The food and service were exceptional, especially thanks to our waitress Lucy, who made our dining experience even better. The value for money is outstanding. We all plan to come back in the future, whether with our partners or for another ski adventure. If you're looking for a peaceful touch of luxury, away from the busy crowds, this is definitely the place to be.

One of the best hotels we stayed so far. Everything is very nice: the hotel is very nice with a great design, the rooms are spacious, very nicely furbished, cleanliness is impeccable. The wellness area has everything you want at top quality. And the restaurant is amazing: great food, quality ingredients and nice and attentive staff. We enjoyed every minute of it - especially the Rocky 7 Menu that turned out to be one of the best dinners that we experienced
