I highly recommend Hotel Neue Post for a number of reasons. I'm a world traveling ski/lifestyle journalist and your hotel, staff, beautiful spa, indoor and outdoor pools, cuisine and overall comfort ranks as one of the best hotels I've ever enjoyed. Your staff complimented my incredible Austrian experience with spacious, clean, beautiful rooms made from local products. Delicious breakfast buffet with a fantastic variety including an omlette station to chef inspired dinners along with a wonderful salad and soup buffet plus house specialty deserts. To top is all off, your location in the heart of beautiful Mayrhofen was perfect with 10 minute walks or free shuttles to both major lifts in town. The owner Willie Pfister has an incredible and infectious passion for his hotel, his wine collection as a 17 year Somalia along with his rustic and ancient wine cellar with real bricks from many centuries ago. I simply cannot impel anyone to avoid this hotel more. Me and my father have visited this hotel annually every year for 5 years until now, having comfortably spent over EUR100,000 through that and our clients custom. My father suffered a stroke on the final day of our holiday - when I notified the hotel as to arrange alternative accommodation closer to the hospital, the wine jocky called 'MICKY', instead of offering condolences, presented me with a EUR3,000 bill immediately - telling me my fathers heart attack was "Not his problem", not even asking how my father was doing (he was in critical care at the time). Further to this, the quality of hygiene and service in the hotel has fallen to an unacceptable level. There were pieces of boiled egg and vegetables floating in the rooftop pool, and huge groups playing music from bluetooth speakers. I seriously urge you to avoid this, and this resort, at all costs

Neue Post is both sophisticated and relaxed. Wonderful facilities include the spa and rooftop pool. Location is perfect for parking or the train station with fantastic views. The kitchen is amazing, we really enjoyed our food and choices of local wines. Well appointed comfortable and quiet room. Great friendly service and warm atmosphere - you see the owner around and know everyone cares.

Beautiful traditional Tyrolian decor with preservation of classic features. Comfortable spacious room. Magical rooftop pool with surrounding views of the mountains. Excellent breakfasts and well equipped boot room for ski equipment.

Such a beautiful place, we’ve stayed in two other hotels in Mayrhofen but Neue Post is our favourite. The hotel is very modern and upmarket, rooms are immaculately clean and food is superb. The spa is an absolute highlight with drinks at the rooftop pool. (When we tried another hotel we actually paid to use the Neue Post Spa because it was warmer than the outdoor pool we had elsewhere). Our only critique is that my husband would really have loved a burger or schnitzel on the menu as he enjoys the simpler things but we didn’t actually ask for this option so it may well have been granted had we have asked.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful! We especially enjoyed our suite right by the pool — beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The kids stayed in a fantastic family suite and loved it as well. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Although it’s a bit far from the Penkenbahn lift, there’s a ski bus stop conveniently located right outside the hotel entrance. The ski room is perfect — very comfortable and conveniently located right on the main street, with easy-to-use lockers that make everything simple and organized.

I really enjoyed my stay in the very town center of Mayrhofen. The staff was extremely help and welcoming, I arrived late and check-in was quick and easy. I loved the atmosphere in the hotel and my rooms was very clean and had a great view from the balcony. In the room there is everything that is needed, there was no noise from outside. The wellness center and swimming pool on the roof are amazing. This hotel is really great value for money. I'll definitely be back.

We've stayed at the hotel for 4 nights as a family with a kid and a baby. We came very late at night due to some delays, they communicated with me that they would leave us food in the room so we wouldn't go to sleep on an empty stomach with is a nice gesture, also at 01:30 a.m someone was there to help us with the luggage even though they are not operating at this time at night super from their side. The hotel has parking lot near by, the room was specious and we had the baby crib we requested in advance, the breakfast was superb many choices so even our little picky kid found what to eat. We ate both at the hotel dinner and at the al la cart restaurant with friends both were great! We used the indoor pool on the -1, the kids room, and the open heated pool on level 3, everything was perfect. Ski room is spacious and has heating both for boots and gloves which is nice, although I don't know what happens if both kids and parents are skiing there won't be enough room for all. (but that wasn't our situation) would definitely come again, one my best stays in a long time, the biggest thing is how helpful and attentive the hotel staff, without a dough they keep everything to a very high standard!

It was our first visit to Zillertal/Mayrhofen but hopefully not the last. We are so happy with our choice of hotel which we found by reading reviews. It suited us perfectly. The Juniorsuite Post room was a decent size for us and the cleaning worked perfectly, always fresh when we came back after the day's hikes. The food was excellent throughout the day, everything from breakfast to lunch and dinner. We had the same waiter six days out of the week and he was very attentive and service minded and contributed to making us feel so good. The wine cellar was fantastic and one of the highlights of the week was that we had the opportunity to participate in a short wine tasting with a visit to the wine cellar. Next visit, we hope to participate in a longer one to be able to share Willis' skills. We even have to come back soon to have time to try the SPA, which we didn't have this time as there was so much we wanted to experience in Zillertal! The only thing I can complain about is that there was a lot of smoke coming into our room from the outdoor dining area. A search shows that 25% of Austrians are daily smokers, while only 6% of the Swedes are. We simply do not like smoke. All in all it is a wonderful hotel in every way and we hope to return no later than the next summer!

Stayed here for 2 weeks in Jan/Feb, would definitely recommend the restaurant. Amazing food can’t recommend enough but make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
