Two of us stayed four nights in a one bedroomed apartment; one in the bedroom, one on the sofa bed in the living area. It is basically 12 apartment blocks and we were in Block 10 which is around the back near the reception, which takes some finding when you arrive on the street at the front! I have stayed twice at apartments in this block. The positive is that its located very close to the gondola, there are plenty of supermarkets and rental for skis in the block. The only negative for the hole block was that the last time the heaters didnt work and we only used air conditioning.

Haven’t bothered reading the low reviews, as far as I can tell this place is terrific. Low budget, nice room and extremely convenient for the Gondola. If i ever came back to Bansko this place would be well on the agenda to book for a low budget, convenient stay.

Large apartments with all you might need inside. The aparthotel is very close to the cabin lift and slope #1 so basically you can ski to your room. Spa was great, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi worked fine only the Turkish bath was off. They also worked out all our requests. Great for the price.

Descent price/performance ratio. Very close to the gondola. No lifts for upper floors. Spa at the basement is good for after ski relaxation.

Thanks to him, we saved a lot of time and discovered really typical and great addresses (thermal baths, Turkish baths, skiing, restaurants) in Bansko and its surroundings. Hotel Michel is located near the city centre, 10 minutes walking. It's super clean, the stuff is very nice and the rooms are vast. It is located in a very calm area.

Although Bansko is a ski destination, Skabrin does not have a room for skis or to dry boots. It also doesn't have a lounge if you want to stay in the hotel but not in the small room. The triple room was too small for the luggage + boots + helmets that needed to be dried. First time in this establishment, my cousins have visited before so I decided to try it out. The room is as expected for the price and some lack of accommodation is to be expected also. But overall its a good hotel if you visit is just to ski or snowboard. Breakfast is included at the price which is great and the buffet has all the necessary ingredients for a breakfast.

We were very happy with this accommodation, great value for price. It was with breakfast included, good food, decent food and it was served at 8 30 but due to gondola ques we wanted it earlier so the brothers served us at 7 30, great from them. We highly recommend it, the room was cozy with a small balcony, just perfect.

Good value for money. Family of 4, 2 bedrooms, plenty of space, comfy beds. Kitchenette missing some basic extras like tea towel, small pan, wooden spoon but we improvised easily enough (campers!). Stayed here for a week over Christmas in apartment on top floor. It was massive so much space and view over town to mountains. Beds were comfortable and our double was at least king size though duvet was only a double so used a single next to it. We had wonderful days as a family staying in the old part of Bansko. The Dodo Pene place has a very nice atmosphere and feels like an old mountain hut, which it isas the building is 200 years old. The rooms are perfect, very clean and cozy. They have a bathroom and everything is in wooden style. And a very friendly family is running the place- they speak perfekt English.

Love this restaurant! Owners are adorable, food is delicious and authentic and the decoration is so atypical. I definitely recommend!
