Spent the weekend with my family. The new SPA is amazing - feels like the little brother of Grand Hotel Therme haha. Rooms were clean, staff was excellent and so was the food. As overall it’s probably the best place to stay in Bansko for SPA and skiing.

Our family stayed there for a week. We had booked an apartment with a king bed and a pullout sofa. The pullout sofa was super crooked and uncomfortable and made a terrible noise at the slightest body movement, my baby girl kept waking up every time I sat down or moved in bed. During our stay, we experienced several maintenance and service issues that caused concern. The swimming pool area requires urgent attention, as the floor drains are damaged and have sharp edges. We were here two years ago when we discovered their restaurant and this is definitely the highlight of the hotel! They have the best bulgarian food in Bansko. The food is limited, it’s not like what we pay for all inclusive. When we book the room we asked for one bed but they are two separate. The hotel’s waiter give us a towels that are torn.

The hotel in general is high value for a very affordable price: nice SPA centre, with the best Hamman I know so far, good airco, 24 hours reception, variated and complete breakfast, free parking space nearby. Good location away from the big noise and yet close to the centre (walking distance). Very helpful and friendly staff, they all speak well English.

Amazing value for money! Great location, right in front of a big park and a few minutes walk from the center. Big comfortable rooms with everything needed. Breakfast and dinner were great. Spa is decent with a small heated pool, big sauna and steam bath. It needs a bit of renovation though. There is a nice child's area. Overall the hotel is a perfect place for a cheap getaway with the children.

We spent a lot of time at the casino. It is the biggest in bansko but much smaller than international casinos you might be used to. Great that they have a separate smoking casino but the doors remain open so you can smell smoke in the non smoking side too. A couple of hours’ drive from Sofia in the very picturesque town of Bansko, the hotel has ample parking space and is vary easy to get to.  Staff, more specifically reception, restaurant and servicing are very courteous and kind. Elegant Lux is a lovely hotel! Really pleasant staff and great environment. There are a few things that could do with some repairs but overall, fab hotel with a great shuttlebus to the gondela and it really is close to the gondela anyway.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The rooms were nice and cozy and clean as well. The breakfast was delicious, great variety and also small daily rotation. The spa was wonderful, had 3 saunas( standard, hammam and a special salt sauna) the pool is not deep but enough to relax and perfect for kids. The saff was also very kind. Would come back again.

Overall 3 star stay. Location is fine, a short walk from the gondola or ski shops. Service was good, friendly cleaners and restaurant staff. However, had cold showers every day, despite complaining and being told it was fixed.

The Green Wood hotel is a great place to stay. Me and my husband stayed at the hotel for two nights and everything was brilliant, staff were lovely and professional, the room was very nice, the food was excellent. It was a huge pleasure to be guests of the Green Wood Hotel.

Green Wood is in the process of refreshing the public areas and renewing the existing facilities. In addition, the apartments will be redesigned in a modern style and will be fully equipped with new furniture and electrical appliances.
