Overall, it is a really great place to stay! However, we booked half-board, and the processes for allergies were not good enough! The hotel restaurant is a buffet and has signs next to the dishes

Amazing 5star hotel !!!! From the warm welcome, huge, warm rooms and gorgeous spa area to the most delicious dinners and breakfasts we couldn’t ask for more ! Absolutely, the best ski hotel

Free shuttle bus from 8am, outdoor pool while it’s snowing was a cherry on top. Food was well spiced and always very tasty. The real honey for breakfast, fresh pancakes, omelettes

New ,renovated and rebuilt.still working on renovation but it’s going to be the best hotel in Bansko.

However, the allergy information on the signs was wrong. We were informed that this was because the chefs cook fresh / unique fishes every night, and so the allergy information changes every day

Rooms very warm, we had to open the windows. Thank you all for making this holiday so brilliant

It’s not just the size that impressed us, but also the actual facilities — especially the salt thermal zone with the warm mineral pool and the aroma sauna, where short steam rituals are held throughout the day

The spa area is simply stunning – multiple pools, saunas, and relaxation zones that allow you to completely disconnect from everyday life. The massages were divine and truly therapeutic

We also loved the large hydromassage pool with different water-jet zones — you can literally get a full water massage without having to wait

The hotel provides excellent conditions for a family vacation, with amenities appropriate for both adults and children. The food is varied and well balanced, contributing to the overall enjoyable experience

The staff barely speaks English. The giant spa area with circuit of many saunas, Hammam, Steam bath, warm pool with jet strong yet, jacuzzi. Very clean , always someone dry the floor

At Grand Hotel Bansko, attention to detail and comfort are evident throughout the overall concept. The hotel offers a good balance between active pursuits and opportunities for relaxation

The staff are lovely and there is a very relaxing bar area with great cocktails. The spa is really nice with an outside thermal pool and a sauna which looks over the mountain. We did not eat in the evening

The other is that I think the spa needs dedicated child free times as it often felt like a children’s pool

Our friends stayed at a similar apartment in the same building and their pullout sofa was different and very comfortable. We saw poop in the pool and in the jacuzzi

My son came down with an ear infection and one of us adults got another kind of infection from the pool

The rooms are very spacious, and the spa facilities were excellent. We enjoyed the delicious food and the nice lounge area, perfectly situated next to the kids' playground. It was ideal for a couple of retreat days

The rooms were good and clean, the Spa was great, the treatments we had were profesional, the food was good with a large variety and most of all the staff was very obliging and helpful always smiling and kind

We loved the Kempinski! The spa was exceptional with every room you could think of (multiple different saunas, steam rooms, snow room, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, shower experiences, relaxation rooms and pools) and the restaurant food was lovely with different themes each night (Saturday Italian, Sunday Bulgarian, Monday Alps, Tuesday Asian etc)

The best part of staying at the Kempinski is the VIP pass - if you are skiing during school holidays this is a must! Gondola queues have been between 2-3 hours a day and with VIP we have gone straight through-it’s worth a stay in the hotel for this alone! And the price was not much more than the normal pass price at about €75 per days for adults (less for children 11 and under)

The ski shops in the foyer and the ski room all make the experience easy The rooms are nice but dated but the hotel itself is beautiful and like a winter wonderland. The view from our room (shown in photo) was stunning

One of the best hotels in Bansko. The location is superb, rooms are spacious and well equipped with all kinds of amenities. The staff and the overall service are exceptional. The spa and the restaurants are excellent.

The gondola is next door to the hotel and and you can ski straight back into the ski room at the end of the day

Friendly staff and comfortable apartments. Free Wi-Fi everywhere and fantastic views. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, a games room and a gym. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed every moment of our time, Our favourite moments include sitting on the balcony watching the stars and breathing in the fresh Mountain air! The views were spectacular

We arrived by mistake 15 min earlier to openi g time of the restaurant for dinner and again you will almost get killed at the beginning. Later they calm down as I apologized

We are a family of 2 and spent 5 days at this hotel in early January. We booked a studio and a family of friends with 2 kids booked an apartment. The first impression was nice, as the lobby looks amazing

Overrool friendliness of staff very poor no all there are some willing to help but some as I mention they will kick you out just not to border them with any questions

Transport to gondola be carfull they drop you on one place and you have to reed the small letters that there is different pick up point to go back to hotel

I think the mentality of the staff is same as it was in the 90th no matter they progress in EU hospitality is stuck in somw post Bulgarian Era

But once we got to the rooms we were unpleasantly surprised, as they don't look like in the pictures. The bathroom is extremely small and very far away from a 4-star rating

Jacuzzi out of water and pool covered with tarp - Lazy in-room AC - Small detail but if the hotel TV gives you the opportunity to connect your device to one of its HDMI ports, why the port is the one behind the TV and not the one in the side? So basically you can not connect your device with HDMI

Nice stay A very nice stay here, very comfortable bed, all new after a recent refurb. Great pools and gym. My only gripe was that the hot breakfast was not hot, in fact quite cold for some items.

You have to get up at 7 in the morning to grab a sunbed in the sun. There isn’t enough space outside for more loungers. It wasn’t a horrible experience, but we definitely wouldn’t go back

The furniture was old, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The pool has warm water, which is nice. Outside, there weren’t enough sun loungers given the warm weather

The accommodation and food were very good, the room was very warm, the staff was friendly, the prices were affordable, the spa service was good, the pool was heated, the ski slope was excellent

We stayed at Katarino Spa Hotel in Razlog, Bulgaria for just one night, and honestly, we wished we had extended our stay

We visited for a second time and didn't leave disappointed! Everything was perfect. Clean rooms, spa and pools, perfect service and very nice hotel staff. And the food is great too with a lot of locally produced products

The beds are comfortable and bedding and towels were changed everyday. The hotel has a nice swimming pool, sauna and steam room which was a nice benefit after a long day skiing

We've been going to this hotel for 10 years and this was the worst cleaning. This year food was much better than last year. Pool is finally fully renovated (last year it was still work in progress)

We stayed in March in a deluxe 2 bedroom suite which had a great view and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable too. It is a great location for the ski lift and a walk into Bansko town

Again if you are expecting a high end restaurant meal then you will be disappointed but it was exactly what we were looking for. Overall for the money we paid I couldn’t fault it and would hapilly return

Room, and the toilet, or specifically toilet seat, could be much cleaner. Toilet seat had "desinfected" label on it, but was dirty. Cups left by the kettle still had coffee on them🤢

The town of Bansko has grown a lot since I last visited 13 years ago and has a good selection of excellent restaurants and great Apres ski, virtually every venue we went to has some kind of live music at some point in the evening

Most of the staff is generous, but there should be more employees especially in the restaurant bar. The pools and spa center are great

Great location if you are going for a ski vacation. There are shuttle buses every 20 minutes to take you to the gondola station. I was surprised to see it is pet-friendly as not a lot of the hotels here are

Overall I can say that it was OK. The room: it was clean, spacious, and it was very warm. Also the bathroom was spacious and we had hot water at anytime of the day or night

The issue arose during the nights when trying to sleep as usually large groups of guests travel to ski and will stay out in the night life until early hours of the morning, on our second night a group of Middle Aged men were shouting and screaming up the hallway at around 1am for over an hour, when confronted they become rude and aggressive and swore at myself and partner and made threats to fight

The food served as part of half board breakfast and evening meal was a buffet, I cannot fault the food as this was actually very nice and there was a different theme for the buffet each night for the evening meal, however breakfast remained the same each time but was to a good standard

It was so delicious and I’m a big foodie. Never eaten so much! Plus, we made our sandwiches every morning from the buffet… and it’s stumble-able from amigos…

The spa could do with a warmer pool and Hot Tub. Location is ideal, five minutes or so to the Gondola and main bars. Have been this hotel a couple of times

Although the swimming pool and spa area was busy at peak times, it was also spacious enough to accommodate all of the guests and was modern and to a high standard

The ski instructor taught my children to ski and was very good with them. The leisure centre with pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was great for the whole family after a day on the slopes

We had wonderful views of the mountains from our balcony and the slopes were a short walk away. There was also a really useful minibus which took us to the slopes every morning

The spa is clean and well maintained with lots of saunas to choose from, hot tile beds, hot tub, Roman bath and pool

It was also very handy that my daughter aged 11 was able to use the spa also which meant we could enjoy it as a family. There are also plenty of loungers around the pool to relax on
