We loved the Kempinski! The spa was exceptional with every room you could think of (multiple different saunas, steam rooms, snow room, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, shower experiences, relaxation rooms and pools) and the restaurant food was lovely with different themes each night (Saturday Italian, Sunday Bulgarian, Monday Alps, Tuesday Asian etc)

Torn topper, dust on the headboard of the bed, thick dust on the picture frames in the living room, hair on the topper as well as obvious stains, obvious stains on the bidet, dirty walls in the bathroom, water stains on the mirror, rusty toilet brush container, dirt on the shelf with the glasses, dirt on the shelves, a curtain could not be closed, the sliding door to the walk-in closet was removed...

The ski shops in the foyer and the ski room all make the experience easy The rooms are nice but dated but the hotel itself is beautiful and like a winter wonderland. The view from our room (shown in photo) was stunning

One of the best hotels in Bansko. The location is superb, rooms are spacious and well equipped with all kinds of amenities. The staff and the overall service are exceptional. The spa and the restaurants are excellent.

My previously communicated requests were very well implemented. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room were rather mediocre and not worthy of the standards of a 5-star Kempinski hotel

It's located a little way off the main street, Pirin Street, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining, but it may be difficult to get there by public transportation. It tends to get crowded during breakfast hours.

I was on a short ski vacation with my son. The hotel is in a wonderful location in the centrum of Bansko. The spa center is very basic and needs renovation. The breakfast is sufficient for a passing grade

Location was good , driver who brings you to gondola as well ! Swimming pool was nice and warm , sauna didn’t work :( In room was nice and warm , good view. Pillows are a bit small , but it’s ok

Yes the hotel is a bit tired but our room was clean, the spa facilities were great! There is a huge swimming pool, sauna and steam room which were clean & fabulous to use after a days skiing

The location is great — close to the center of Bansko and also near the ski center. Hotel also offer free transportation to Ski center. For families, this place is perfect

We are staying over at the Four Points Sheraton for four nights. It's a nice hotel, and the staff is well-trained and friendly. They have great coffee at the lobby, the best in Bansko

Nice hotel with nice room and balcony. Many steps and corridors, but ok once you get used to it. Bathroom needs a sliding door as access is very limited.

Breakfast was nice; we tried a couple of snacks at the lobby, a club sandwich, and a burger, both good. Big change for the better from what it used to be

After reading the reviews on trip advisor I was worried about the trip that I had planned to Razlog, but I was really impressed when I arrived. This hotel has had a refurb and the rooms were of good quality

I honestly could not have asked for a better ski instructor than Hristian. From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring

As a first-time skier, I had moments of panic; especially with speed, but he remained calm, patient, and completely in control. He knew exactly how to steady me, refocus me, and help me regain confidence

After everything I’ve been through with my leg (12 reconstructive surgeries), this experience meant more than just learning a new sport , it was about trust and confidence

I truly hope he’ll continue teaching me next year because I will absolutely be back to continue learning and he is the instructor I trust. I highly, highly recommend him

We had a lovely time skiing whilst staying at the Hotel Lion. We had a family apartment that was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff made a noticeable effort to keep it impeccable

The issue arose during the nights when trying to sleep as usually large groups of guests travel to ski and will stay out in the night life until early hours of the morning, on our second night a group of Middle Aged men were shouting and screaming up the hallway at around 1am for over an hour, when confronted they become rude and aggressive and swore at myself and partner and made threats to fight

The spa could do with a warmer pool and Hot Tub. Location is ideal, five minutes or so to the Gondola and main bars. Have been this hotel a couple of times

Myself and partner moved rooms the next day, but from speaking to other parties within the hotel which were part of the skiing classes, this issue arose night after night where people would return at the early hour of the morning causing many issues waking up guests including children who all had to wake up early to attend breakfast and their skiing lessons

The food served as part of half board breakfast and evening meal was a buffet, I cannot fault the food as this was actually very nice and there was a different theme for the buffet each night for the evening meal, however breakfast remained the same each time but was to a good standard

As we stayed during one of the hottest weeks of the year, the room temperature was 28 degrees Celsius and there was no air conditioning. However, it was cool outside at night, and the open window allowed for normal sleep

The staff is very polite, predominantly from Asia, and the housekeepers even cleaned the children's playground, which is a commendable hotel policy! There are many well-built playgrounds for children, and the large area of the complex allows for pleasant walks

Great Mountain resort with external pools and stunning views. We are not golf players, but they offered free golf lessons. It was really interesting for us, as we have never tried to pay golf before

In February, most local shops are closed, although there are still a few restaurants and mini marts open nearby. The hotel and room: Our room is warm, the beds are very comfortable, and the shower is phenomenal

It is true that the kitchen setup is extremely basic. You are provided with glasses and cups, a cooker, and a fridge, but there is no kettle, no pans, no cutlery, no plates, and no washing up equipment

We had a few minor issues: only three pillows between two of us, one pillow missing a cover, and a shower door coming off its runners. All issues were reported and dealt with quickly

There is a shuttle service; however, it only runs twice in the morning and twice again in the late afternoon, with nothing in between
