Hotel Laguna Park & Aqua Club in Sunny Beach

We have been visiting Sunny Beach for the last 15 years (approx) lol and spent our first couple years at other hotels but Laguna park was the best not just for us but for the kids too, when we first went there was a small slide in the middle of the pool that was it, over the years the hotel has improved by what i would say 100%, with its aqua slides ect ect. The food is slightly better although I think im beginning to look like chips and onion rings lol. For a person who has visited Laguna park in both the height of the season and the back end I carry on enjoying it, The only let down for Sunny beach is that the shops and restaurants start to close down halfway through September BUT BUT there is still plenty of places to visit. The only complaint I had was The reception staff required a little bit more training in customer service. On arrival we had to remind the girl we was stood at the desk for a reason (to book in) as she kept walking away and talking with someone else, on our second week we complained to the reception that our air condition had turned warm to be told that it had been turn over as customers complained they was cold, ( why didn't the customers turn their air con off in the room ) I explained my husband had been diagnosed with cancer and has had a lot of treatment for this and he uses medication to prevent hot sweats caused by his treatment, The girl shrugged her shoulder and said i could have a fan. the advert for the holiday said air conditioned rooms, But after all of this I would still go back to Laguna Park Please please please Management train your staff ( all staff ) in customer care, you have staff more interested in their mobile phones than serving especially at the bars. People complained this year about reserving their sunbeds before 9am and having their towels removed, all you need to do is stay with your beds till after 9am, People complained about the food not hot enough, mine was OK but if you want there is a microwave next to the toasters you could use, People complained about the lifeguards whistling, well its their job to keep everyone safe, people running , diving, and jumping in the slide pool warrants a whistle, People complained about loud music I only know of the music from the night entertainment that finished at 10pm...not very late is it...What i witnessed in September this year was plenty of children taken out of school to holiday and bear in mind we are 2 hours ahead so 10pm is not that late when realistically it was 8pm....JUST SAYING...lol...all in all Laguna park is one of the best hotels in Sunny beach if you don't think so you want to try Sun Palace...lol now that was an experience. I hope everyone found a good thing about their holiday and I hope going into the Euro coin does not spoil it in January, I hope you all return one day as Laguna is always changing for the best, as for the eye sore of the derelict building opposite, there is no plans as such but if there is I hope it wont become a n

Went here with my family, hotel is clean with plenty food options for everyone (very repetitive) but I suppose that’s the nature of an all inclusive. Snack bar is the same daily but again kids could all ways eat plus the ice creams helped! Entertainment is worth watching each evening along side the mini disco for the kids. Kids club is a good addition for the kids although mine rathered the pool. Kids pool is great but can be chilly early morning for the kids (kids have to go down the slides alone, no big kids or adults allowed to assist) few reviews mention about the pool staff blowing their whistles but in fairness to them they always had a valid reason. Always able to find a sun lounger. Rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaners were lovely.

We visited for two weeks the room we stayed in was overlooking the pool area, there was quite loud music after 9.00 until around 5.30pm so leaving your patio door open during these times was noisy, we used the smaller pool when sunbathing and this was quieter and more relaxed atmosphere the bar man was super friendly and made up good selection of drinks with good alcohol level! The food was of a really good standard and the restaurant staff worked very hard and we're very attentive. The rooms were cleaned every day and I think the beds were also changed a couple of times a week. Although some areas were quite noisy during the evening there was areas that you could find in the hotel that were less so. Overall we would recommend this hotel.

On arriving, friendly welcome (stupid o’ clock arrival), care package including water provided. Room clean, fridge stocked with beer, juice and water (first stock is free). Breakfast great selection, lunch again, great selection, evening meal great selection too. Desserts not quite as nice as they looked, but that’s a likely difference in sugar use. Pools acceptable and clean, staff on the whole friendly, some appeared a little grumpy, but likely associated with low wages for role. Near to shops and beach (5-10 minute walk). Downside, food very similar, some might complain only warm when served, although did not bother us. Tea and Coffee in the room although not stocked when we arrived or after (to be honest we didn’t ask either). Evening entertainment leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion, if it’s fun and entertainment you’re after of an evening, this is where the hotel needs to improve. Other guests - crucially two issues, first being rude other guests most likely culturally different, secondly the Brits let us down. Drinking and noisy the night before we left, and children not always supervised so able to poke and prod food which they were not going to eat. Could do with a soft drinks dispenser and hot drink dispenser in reception for departure day, particularly if after 23:00 when the bars close. Limited visible security to reduce noisy guests on arrival. Not just normal noise either but adults shouting about drinks and bars etc Hotel could do with offering people to take photos of food earlier than guests eating, on a couple of occasions we were barged out of the way of the food queue due to a guest filming the food. It is a spectacular spread and of course people like taking photos etc, but this happening when guests are trying to eat and get food can be a nuisance, videoing is difficult for other customers, I obtained photos whilst getting my food and restaurant not busy with hungry customers.

It’s a nice hotel but if you are looking for a fancy hotel I wouldn’t recommend coming here. The staff can be quite rude and moody.

We went 11/8 - 21/8. It's taken me a while to do a review. Because the night before we was to return home my son was sick and then we come down with it. We have no idea where this come from but we have never been so ill. The rooms was of good standard. Cleaned every day with fresh towels. The whole hotel was clean through out. The pool and slides was kept clean also. With gentlemen coming around all day picking up plastic cups(waste of lots of plastic cups). You could get a sunbed most day is early. But tou could not reserve beds before 9. Other wise the towels was removed . Some of the pool side was uneven. The lifeguards kept whistling the whistle. But it's there job to keep people safe. It was very busy and noisy around the pool edge. The snack bar was ok. But the same thing every day. The restaurant was ok. The food was the same kind of thing very day. Who wants chicken or pork every day. One day they had beef, I don't know what it was. Food was also warm and not hot enough. People was pushing and shoving to get by. Which made it unpleasant to enjoy a meal. Not enough tables when it's busy. Over all the staff was very friendly.

Excellent hotel. Clean, friendly staff, decent food .rooms cleand everyday fresh towels. Sunbeds are always available. My daughter (4) absolutely loved the pools. All inclusive drinks were decent to . Excellent location in Sunny Beach to.
