Hotels with heated pool in Bulgaria

At many of these hotels, it’s as if they need to check off a series of items to keep a certain listing of type of hotel, but checking off that you have an item instead of just having a few items that are more edible and taste good are not the same thing

The mountain air at night is fine but you do need a screen with mosquitos. The bathroom is sort of standard for that era of Bulgarian hotel - so it was fine but not great. It did have a bidet which is always nice

This probably wouldn’t be our first choice of a place to stay again but maybe it offers an advantage location-wise if you are skiing and there was the really good spa with the gracious gentleman running it

Low points: The rooms we booked was listed as a two-bedroom family suite. The problem was that it was one bedroom with a king size type bed and a living room with a sofa bed, not two actual bedrooms

) He offered me tea and when I declined, he brought me water. He had really amazing healing type energy and it was lovely to have met him. There is a trail that leads to the forest from the hotel

They have some neat wooden carvings of animals and a huge giant’s type table with chairs in the forest. They hold weddings around that forest area and it looks like a forest fairy-land

Very good family hotel, great location in front of the sea and close to the old town, kind personnel, swimming pool and good facilities. The food offer for the all-in formula has substantially improved!

The service is on a very high level, the rooms were cleaned daily and even the maid that was looking after the rooms on our floor made some figures with the towels (dog or swan etc

Incredible sea views, tranquility and beauty. A bit far from the beach but there are pools, sun loungers and a children's Playground in front of the hotel.

+ It is very good for families with kids. Close to the beach and city centre. Big free parking. Two big pools. - Most of the staff are new and not so customer oriented also not kind. Low quality of breakfast.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient area. It's 5 minutes away from the beach and 4 minutes away from the centre. Young people with a brighter smile than the sun and very polite

Great place to create happy family memories. Lovely view from the restaurant's terrace. Free parking for the guests of the hotel. The loby bar is managed by professionals

There is also a lot of nature in addition to the sport camps. The lady at the Palace Front desk, Irena was amazing. She knew everything and did her best to make your stay wonderful! My wife and I loved our stay

There are two hotels at this place to stay at. Therma Palace and Therma Village. If you want to be with the kids stay at the Village. If you want quiet parents time, stay at Therma Palace

The Palace has an old time Hollywood boutique feel, like it’s trapped in time. The Village is much bigger and has a more modern feel. Both have wonderful mineral pools

My daughter came to a skating camp here. My wife and I tagged along to this hotel. Don’t expect American standards. It’s hard to compare because things are so different in Bulgaria

The beaches are clear and calm, the staff is wonderfully accommodating. They try their best to give you the best experience. The food was good and there was a lot of variety

People are also very direct, very different culture here. It is a very nice hotel and everyone is friendly and tries their best. This is mainly a sports training camp/hotel

We left with good impressions. Warm rooms, warm pool, helpful staff and a manager who watches over everything and takes care of even the smallest detail

The rooms are very varm exelent food warm pool for kids and adults i recomend it to anyone

The food was very tasty and service in the restaurant is polite and quick. The hotel Manager was also very helpful. The hotel has two pool and two saunas, which is a must to visit

The Green Wood hotel is a great place to stay. Me and my husband stayed at the hotel for two nights and everything was brilliant, staff were lovely and professional, the room was very nice, the food was excellent

Paid for a deluxe room, wasn't impressed. Pool and spa were great and location of hotel is great. Very very helpful concierge named Trendy saved us and jump started our dead car

Some of the photos were quite old! The conditions in the hotel were changed!The rooms have been renovated! That's great! The wait staff was perfect! Come and we will see!

Very warm room, very nice view from our balcony, well cooked food at the traditional restaurant with acceptable prices, considering the precipitation with foreign tourists. Okay breakfast, could improve

Nice and clean rooms. High temperature in the rooms. Free shuttles to ski slopes every morning and evening, but not during lunch time. The staff is very kind and helpful.

A modern hotel with a great location. Great breakfast and dinner buffet. There is free wifi in the hotel. There is a warm indoor pool and a kids club with lots of entertainment for kids across all ages

This is our 7th visit to Borovets We booked here instead of the Rila as it’s newly refurbished and just behind the Rila, you can cut through the back of the Rila for ski hire and slope access It’s a lovely cosy Alpine style hotel, much more relaxed and personal and the room was modern and large

We stayed in one of the villas, and it was perfect for a family trip—spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better

Needs to be fully dressed to pop into the restaurant despite the obvious inconvenience tonis to have to go up and down to get drinks (given the main pool area and expected amenities had not yet opened

Further to this, we returned after spending most of our day outside in the hotel grounds to beds that hadn’t been made nor towels & robes changed

Every small ask was a problem. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival but we watched many others checkin ahead of us. Instead of being kind to us about this, there was a precision about doing things their way

A few other things annoyed me like sofa bed not being made up or spare bedding being left for her and no robe for my child but the icing on the cake was being asked for €6 for a lost key card…

When the lovely made came, my child was already in the bath and so we really didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable

Can’t wear this, can’t do that. It’s supposedly an inlay all inclusive but we were only allowed draft wine

Very nice and cozy please. The staff are so sweet and helpful. The services are really good, the buffet style food as well. The pools and outdoor hot pool in a cold winter day feels amazing. Highly recommended!

Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel

I was surprised about the infrastructure, physiotherapy was very good and my spouse and appreciate the pools and the views.

So for my birthday, we went to hotel Aura. And bro I ain't gonna lie it's great. We got room A2 and I saw this when I went on my room. I saw some construction stuff outside. But hey, they might remodel it

Good views, nice spa center, good food I the restaurant. Good value for the money!

There is a large and a small pool. The rooms are spacious with plenty of beds. The hotel has umbrellas and sunbeds

There is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand if you have come from the sea and immediately go to the pool. It is located in a quiet location and is quite well priced

A pleasant owner, clean, there is everything for a rest, not far to the sea

2 things to note are the great breakfast buffet that is included and the SPA with a large indoor swimming pool

I think the best value for money hotel... clean with internal swimming pool and internal basketball court...near the ski resort ..near the market..... descent breakfast..very willing personnel

It is a good 3 star hotel, the rooms are ok, but nothing fancy, basic but good breakfast, but the best thing was the relaxing zone, the saunas, the pool, super nice and clean.

It's a great hotel back to back with the sports complex. The rooms are a bit dated but the friendly staff and great location make up for it

Good size with a comfy double bed and two proper single beds for the kids in a separate room. Bathroom look to have just been refurbished and really nice. Room was cleaned every day with new towels

I can't rate which was the best, but the highlights that made us happy with choosing this hotel /at random/ are: - the excellent, kind, cordial and respectful service and attitude of the restaurant, cuisine, reception, reception and accommodation, and in general, all the people with whom we met and communicated in the preparation and conduct of the event

- cuisine - at the highest level - delicious, with beautiful serving and good portions; - interior - suitable for a boutique hotel; - External parts - in excellent condition and great for photos; - Parking - although the number of places on it is limited, the owners have done everything necessary to fit the cars of all guests

Their restaurants has great local food and catering for all, with lovely food and reasonable prices. I would love to go back as we had a fantastic time. Saff were great and Hotel Porter couldn't been more helpful

Service is great and heartwarming - really nice people, they guide you and introduce you to everything in the city. For breakfast they offer all kinds of meals. You can even order something costum

I can only share my opinion about the restaurant as I have not been staying at the hotel itself. I really enjoyed the salads as they were chopped into small pieces which made a huge difference

Check in was reasonably quick, so straight to the room, right at the end of the second floor. The first thing you notice is how warm it is - the heating was on full, so I had to sleep with the window open

However, the jacuzzi is dirty, with visible mold, and the kitchen is probably the worst I’ve ever experienced - low-quality food at high prices, completely ruining the experience

It is very well renovated and refreshed. The room we were accommodated in was very clean, large, tidy and warm. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the view from the bar is amazing

The room was clean and comfortable. though a bit on the small side. Easy to manage for one, but with two people carrying a lot of gear, it would have been very tight

The location of the hotel is exceptional and very convenient. Travel time from Sofia is less than 90 min and it's great that there is onsite parking

10 minutes walking to the town center and gondola. Hotel is clean and the service is great! Spa was really helpfull after skiing. I would definetelly stay here again if i visit Bansko again

The hotel had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful in broken English. All we had to do was ask for a lift up to the slopes and the mini bus would take us up

Great place for the many 👌 have nice personal, nice food and good spa center. I recommended for everyone, they have a shuttle every day to the ski center. The ski center is located 2km from the hotel.

5 minute drive or 30 minute walk to the gondola. The hotel is situated away from the main resort in the quieter part of town which was great to get away from all the noise but still be relatively close

Breakfast is very basic and not tasty, but staff is really friendly and helpful. The pool outside is clean and the garden is beautiful. Parking is small and most of the time full

Many facilities including pool table, pinball machine, Olympic style swimming pool, sauna. Jacuzzi massage parlour, bar and restaurant. There is also a FREE shuttle bus service which runs constantly throughout the day

Christmas meal which was supposed to be special, actually was not. The pool was clean, at good temperature but with too much chlorine (it smelled more than usual at least)

We stayed 2 nights. The distance from Bansko Gondola is about 10 km. The room is so huge. But the bed is low and soft. The breakfast is enough and also hotel lobby and bar arw so cool.

We visited Blago for AUBG reunion, obviously. First time we were in this hotel. The room is big, the bed is quite comfortable. The bathroom is a little small I think, but does the work

The hotel is in the city center right next to the park, the rooms are clean and warm enough. The spa center is nice, clean. the thermal pool is not big, but the water was very pleasant both in the pool and in the jacuzzi

The location of the place is quite premium, right in the center of the city, next to big central square, close to all interesting places like All Stars, Underground and eating places like Verde, Frame etc

What we did not like very much is the food. I mean it could be more hot and more offers. I think if you come late, like around 10 then you literally don't have what to eat and it is quite cold

The parking is outside, you have to pay 6 euros per day, but is fine actually. Maybe they can arrange some free parking in some other place, you should ask

From a special SPA robe for the baby, to the fact that there is baby food available at the buffet breakfast and dinner, through the multiple pools, including kids and baby pools - we were so impressed with everything

Also there's a ton of activities for the kids at the play center, and the pool area after the renovations is extended offering more area for the kids

Thus it is difficult to swim in the swimming pools though it is OK for the kids. Good animators and excellent food

This is easily the best hotel for families with children in South Bulgaria. Totally targeted at families with kids and one can tell that things at Markovo Spa are done with passion, professionalism and love for the guest

We had a gorgeous stay at Markovo Spa in November 2025. It was our first visit with a 5 month old baby and the service was exceptional for us - the adults - and for the baby

The hotel is great after the renovations, it's family (and baby) friendly and the half board even includes meals for the smallest

The yard is unique, there are two large trampolines, hammocks, lounge chairs, swings, a slide, many different children's toys, etc. The staff is very good and responsive. Rooms are tidy, clean and smell amazing

Nice, quiet place with a great location. Our room had a balcony and was very clean. The owner of the hotel, Rosi, was always smiling and kind to us. She welcomed us as guests, and we parted as old friends

Great place in town Tryavna. Its right in the center so you can walk across the old town. Very clean rooms and great hospitality. Kids friendy , with garden and a private parking area.

There is a place to park a car. Great location, close to the center and to the garlic tower
