My husband and I stayed for one night for a music event. I wish we stayed two nights and had time to visit George and Secrette.
The staff were welcoming, gave us a tour, and showed us to our room through the maze of the beautiful building and its cool rooms. It has a reading room!
Our room (Room Four) was beautiful, with a lovely courtside balcony (sadly it was raining), and a massive soaker tub. The furniture, bed, robes, bath salts on the tub, and little gift bags of salts to take home made it feel like a spa.
There were pastries, fruit and coffee outside our door in the morning. We ended up leaving later than we had planned.
It is not a hotel experience, more like a private rental experience but with exceptional hotel service. This will be our new stay when we are back in the city.

The room was beautifully decorated. We enjoy the size and quality of the king sized mattress. The bathroom was gorgeous, including a variety of bath salts.
We only stayed overnight to enjoy a musical within walking distance so we did not use any of the amenities. There is no on-site parking so it will cost you up to $50. Unfortunately most Toronto Hotels have no parking.
Room service was scheduled for 8 a.m. It came with croissants, a cinnamon roll, yogurt and granola and fruit. When we arrived we filled out a form for allergies and preferred choices. I requested to have almond milk for my tea as I am lactose intolerant. They forgot to provide it. We also said that we were lactose intolerant ans they gave us yogurt.
Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Absolutely stunning boutique hotel. Huge rooms. Comfortable bed.
The bathroom is a dream and a small balcony facing a courtyard. Quiet. Unique. Excellent customer service. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

The Ivy at Verity is a beautiful European-inspired boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto (Queen + Jarvis) with 4 gorgeously-appointed rooms, each with their own unique style and decor plus 24-hour concierge who will fulfill your every desire. A sommelier brought the perfect bottle of Chianti to our room and shared about its origin, a bath salt "menu" in the spacious bathroom included eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender for a relaxing, deep soak and the in-room continental breakfast was served with fresh coffee and pastries, yoghurt and fruit.
Highly recommended for a romantic rendezvous in the city, or an indulgent treat just for you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This boutique hotel is fantastic and we highly recommend it! Truly loved this place! The rooms are beautifully designed and thoughtfully done! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are soft. Slept like a dream! Breakfast was simple and excellent! Will definitely return!

Great rooms but the communal areas are a bit spartan for a hotel. Also the hotel is in a women only members club

I had one wonderful night's stay at The Ivy at Verity.
From the first moment at check in to the next morning when I regrettably had to leave, my time at The Ivy was spectacular. The giant tub and bath salts, the super comfortable feather pillows, the great smelling Bulgari amenities and the amazing staff were all particular highlights.
Having direct access to both George Restaurant and Sweetgrass Spa was also incredibly convenient.
I can't wait to stay here again.

Lovely room, and building. Facilities were great. My only comment would be about the breakfast, being the same everyday and getting 3 pastries when there are 2 people, should 4 pastries :)

We booked the Urban Retreat getaway and we loved every moment if our stay. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom and amenities, particularly the bath salts, were luxurious and relaxing. We had a five course tasting menu at George's restaurant and marvelled at the chef's creativity. The staff was gracious and kind. The continental breakfast was the perfect amount of food after a huge meal the night before. We are already planning our next stay! Highly recommend The Ivy @ Verity and the George's restaurant

It was a lovely experience.
The food tasted bland so it is suitable for those who cannot take too much spice. Had the buffet option and since my vegan diet restricts wheat and grains, I had only salad and the curry vegetables as they did not have Pakoras that day which should be gluten-free. I asked the server about the black lentil dish and he warned me of dairy in it, even though it was not listed in the ingredients that they display. The other veggie dish they had that day had paneer, so that was out too.
At least they offered me fresh chillies. I wish they would have more vegan options that are gluten-free so that there are more options for us in the buffet because this is my neighborhood Indian restaurant and loving Indian food it would give me more reason to come back. As of now, I am still searching for something better.

The staff was really nice. The food is decent but it doesn't hold a candle to real Indian food. Nonetheless in the realm of downtown Toronto Indian food they do a pretty good job. The only meat with good spice was the curry goat, I'd recommend they add more spices to their other food options.

That was one of the most amazing experiences I've had within my mouth and my body. It was like eating in the middle of Bombay, India, (minus the pollution) while sitting inside this inconspicuous little restaurant in Toronto. Great waiting staff and lots of good energy. It was a culinary enlightment where my taste buds were thrown into an exuberant ride of joy and pleasure intertwined with ecstatic sense of calm. Highly energizing, superb simplicity and artful creativity with affordability. One of seven wonders of Indian cuisine in Toronto. Highly recommend.

Used Bombay Palace twice to cater meetings at my office. Delicious food and professional service. Rajiv is easy to work with, and always responds to questions promptly. Highly recommended.

Went in for dinner on a Sat night, wasn't busy so pretty easy to get a table. Samosas were crispy and delicious, curries were strong I'm flavours and layered with lovely spices. Ordered the Parathas which were a bit dry.
Service was good but a little slow for the number of people. In the restaurant. Otherwise, overall, very good.
