An outstanding stay from start to finish. The service was exceptional, with the front desk staff being incredibly warm and welcoming.

The location is excellent, right in a beautiful and safe neighbourhood and within walking distance of major shopping streets and stores, which made getting around extremely convenient.

The room was amazing and very comfortable, with thoughtful details like a pillow menu that truly enhanced the sleeping experience. The bathroom was luxurious, featuring heated floors and a beautiful bathtub with instant hot water.

The hotel facilities were excellent, including a stunning indoor pool, a high-tech indoor gym, and a relaxing spa. Room service was fantastic. We chose to dine in, and the food exceeded expectations with a diverse and well-curated menu.

Pets are also allowed if you inform the hotel in advance, which is a great bonus. Overall, this was an amazing experience. This was our second visit, and we will definitely return for a third stay. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely exceptional stay at The Hazelton Toronto. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and looked after.

The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The little details truly set the Hazelton apart: luxurious amenities, a serene atmosphere, and thoughtful touches that made the space feel both elegant and inviting. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the overall ambiance made it easy to unwind and relax.

The location in Yorkville is perfect—steps away from amazing restaurants, cafés, and boutiques—yet the hotel still feels private and peaceful. The concierge team was fantastic with recommendations and made everything effortless.

Overall, my stay was flawless. The Hazelton delivers true luxury with heart, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable, high-end stay in Toronto.

Booked a “quiet” premium room for health reasons (concussion)—turns out the hotel’s idea of quiet is jackhammers at dawn.

They generously waited until the morning after I booked to mention the construction.

Cancelled, of course—wouldn’t recommend this five-star headache to my worst enemy.

UPDATE: The hotel allowed us to book a room for $1100/night knowing that there was ongoing construction. They were also aware that we needed a quiet room. Despite this, they did not notify us about construction until the day after booking. FYI Expedia can take up to 15 days to process a refund. Buyer beware.

And no we don't have a desire to communicate with you any further. Go waste someone else's time and money.

A transcendent weekend of pure perfection — once you’ve experienced this, nothing else compares in Toronto. While we love many of The Four Seasons properties in North America and abroad, in Toronto they simply can't compare to the Hazelton experience.

This hotel and staff set the bar for excellence in this city. Thanks to everyone who made our weekend stay with our Service Dog Moe so memorable!!

My daughter got food poisoning from an order of quesadillas. The chicken was rubbery and we regretted not sending it back because her stomach was churning for a few hours and now I'm holding her hair back as she vomits. The waitress was nice but your food safety needs reviewed.

Was a great place to meet up with an old friend. The waitress was amazing, and never rushed us or made us feel like we were taking up a table. We were there for three hours before going to a show and we were very grateful for the time we had and the waitress made it better.

Good food, decent service during mid day. Sometimes, you need to flag the servers. But they are never too far away. Recommend for a quick meal or bar withe friends.

Good food and very friendly staff. Nice selection of beverages. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because the door noise is so annoying. I’ve been twice in my 3 day trip to Toronto, as I’m alone, they gave me table by the door, great table location; but it’s disturbing to have a door slamming next to you the entire time: was even scaring at first. I hope restaurant can do something about it. Slow closing hinge costs barely 25 CAD.

Loved the food here and also loved how smooth the sound system is too.
It's a good spot for groups, it has a great view.
There is a bar side and a dinning side; I really dig the room design.
If you're traveling from out of town, this is a great spot to check out.

Thank you Chef persanth for the wonderful meal. Little hard to find as we almost walked right past the place but when you get there you'll love it. The food and service is what you can expect to receive for the prices. The braised beef was juicy and very tasty but the burger had too much gravy which eventually just make the bun soggy. The very seating comfortable and there is a coat check.

I'd love to give this restaurant a higher rating because the space is beautiful. The food is good but portions are on the small side. The desserts could use some attention. My main concern was the service. I don't have terribly high standards but the host and wait staff were disorganized from the moment we showed up. Nobody offered to check our coats which is fine because the coat check is actually just a bunch of rolling racks in the public space outside of the restaurant. The host checked in a group of people who arrived after us and without a reservation, before showing us to our table where people were waiting. Our server didn't introduce herself, she just started talking over us to ask if we were ready to order. Left feeling underwhelmed.

Very nice luxurious and beautifully looking place. The meal was okay for my taste, prepared pretty good (salmon with mushrooms), nothing amazing nor bad. The waiter did very good job serving us, however forgot to bring the bread that promised.
Hope this place will continue to develop excellent experience.

Decent place with nice foods, atmosphere and kind staff. Sadly, server promised to bring some bread before foods, but forgot it. Creme brulee tasted good, but sugar layer wasn't fixed (it was messy, possibly not enough fried) so i couldn't easily break it to reach cream. In the rest place leaves nice upscale feeling.

An absolutely lovely and unique hotel: spacious rooms, excellent restaurant, delish included breakfast, etc. Plus, the day we arrived, we were invited to a cocktail hour hosted by the manager. What a gracious gentleman. The hotel is lucky to have brought him on board as we learned he arrived just a few months ago. Also, the server at the cocktail was a joy to converse with.

We didn't stay at this hotel, we actually came for High Tea and the experience could've been a lot better.

It started with the hostess where she seated us a table that was already being occupied by another group.

The server was very pushy about ordering quickly.

The tea was very light and you couldn't really taste the flavor too well.

The decor is nice and the atmosphere is what you expect for high tea.

Overall, for the 8 of us the bill was just under $700.

Came here for high tea with my maid of honour as part of my wedding celebrations. It was overall a lovely experience; however I found most of the savoury bites were quite bland. The sweet bites were much better. It also would have been nice to have a heater for the tea as it did get quite cold and oversteeped for the duration of our visit. Service was friendly and attentive, and the venue is historic and beautiful!

Had a fabulous time at their high tea service in their tea room. The staff was very accommodating and kind, the presentation was lovely and the food was very tasty! It wasn’t the best high tea I’ve had to date (the Vanitea Room in Ottawa still has that honour), but the scones, savouries and sweets were all high quality and flavourful. Well worth the money spent on the occasion!

We stayed at this hotel for a few days several years ago. It’s an old hotel but with good service. Our family decided to have afternoon tea here. Again, the service is very good. The waiter always attends to our service promptly. The food is good with big volume. The only problem is the napkin has holes on it. As it is a special day, they apply a special rate for the afternoon tea.
