The Hilton Sanya Yalong Bay is perfect for couples! The atmosphere is incredibly romantic. The hotel boasts a prime beachfront location with clean, uncrowded sands – an evening stroll hand-in-hand with the sea breeze is exceptionally lovely. The resort grounds are lush with tropical greenery, and the infinity pool is fantastic for photos, guaranteeing beautiful shots every time.

The guest rooms are elegantly designed and cozy, offering superb views. The soft furnishings are comfortable and refined, making for a truly pleasant stay. The staff are gentle and attentive, with a warm and thoughtful demeanor, making travel and sightseeing completely stress-free.

The food is delicious and the dishes are exquisite and varied, making dining as a couple a truly special experience. It's quiet and relaxing, far from the bustling city, offering a sense of peace and healing. It's the ideal escape for couples to enjoy their time together away from urban noise. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation!

I booked a standard room, but they upgraded me to a sea-view room, which was a lovely surprise! The room was spacious and very clean. I loved the hotel's public areas – they were really beautiful. The customer service lady was exceptionally good; she helped me arrange a late afternoon airport transfer and a late check-out. The breakfast was also excellent and very plentiful. If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back. It was truly a perfect trip!

This hotel is perfect for family vacations with a baby! We stayed here for four days and three nights, and it was truly ideal for kids. The staff, from the front desk to the restaurant, were all fantastic. The hotel's breakfast, lunch, and dinner were delicious! The amusement park staff were also very friendly towards my baby. The manager's service was thoughtful and thorough. My baby was happy, and so was I on this Sanya trip. If we come back again, we'll definitely have to stay for half a month! ❤️

This was my third stay at the Hilton, and after many years, the public areas are still beautiful and the service is warm and attentive. However, the facilities are definitely showing their age. The air conditioning was weak, and the temperature display was clearly off, plus they provided a thick duvet. The beach has also become less comfortable; there are too many coral fragments and shells that hurt your feet, and the Ritz-Carlton's beach next door is spilling over. Despite this, the staff still tried their best to meet our needs and quickly repaired the faulty light fixture and door.

Checked out of the Hilton on May 12th, here's my fresh review. We stayed as a couple with my grandma and our two-year-old baby. The family suite was perfect for this combination. We stayed a total of 3 nights, experiencing both the ground floor and third-floor rooms, so I'll share my and my family's experiences.

This was our first time in Sanya, and traveling with elderly and a child, we deliberated over hotels for a long time. Firstly because of the price, and also carefully considering user reviews. The night before we checked in, I was still seeing negative reviews on Xiaohongshu, and my heart was really uneasy. But honestly, I can genuinely say that from check-in to check-out, our whole family was very satisfied and happy!

My husband and I travel frequently for work and usually stay in 4 or 5-star hotels like Hilton, so I believe we have high standards for accommodation and some experience. First off, I think this hotel, like all the Hiltons we've stayed in, maintains consistently high standards. The room layout, facilities, hotel design, and service all meet Hilton's criteria. Some mentioned outdated facilities and a musty smell; our family genuinely didn't smell anything musty. I think it might be related to the climate rather than an inherent issue with the hotel itself. We stayed in family rooms on both the ground floor and third floor, and I found both to be excellent. The ground floor room was a bit smaller but more convenient for accessing the beach and pool. The third-floor room was larger and very comfortable. I especially want to highlight the public areas. We chose this place specifically wanting a resort feel and for grandma to experience it, and it truly proved to be the right choice. I didn't take many photos of the public areas during the day, but I took a few while strolling in the evening – you can see them. The 'after-effect' is that I still miss it terribly now that I'm home. Sitting on a lounge chair in the public area at night, enjoying the sea breeze, eating crayfish, drinking beer, and listening to music – it was absolutely fantastic.

Breakfast was pretty standard. There was a variety of options, but the dishes didn't change frequently; the menu was largely the same for the three days we stayed.

Finally, a note on other services. You absolutely must take advantage of the complimentary travel photography offered by the hotel. It's not necessarily because the photos are incredibly good (though they aren't bad), but because when you're traveling with a child and elderly, you truly have no time to take your own pictures, and your phone ends up with nothing presentable. Another point mentioned in reviews is the limited number of parent-child activities, and I agree with this to an extent. Since my baby is currently 2 years old, the beach and pool were more than enough to keep her entertained. However, if she were a bit older and we wanted to do more diverse activities, this hotel indeed doesn't offer many. The kids' club isn't very large either. But it's subjective; every child's needs are different.

Overall, during the relatively off-peak season in May, the Hilton had a moderate number of guests, and the service was orderly. Absolutely recommended.

The hotel environment is absolutely stunning, with lush gardens and vibrant greenery everywhere. There are so many pools, and the infinity pool is incredibly photogenic – every picture looks like it's from a tropical island photoshoot. The room itself is spacious and bright, with excellent natural light. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a really peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and the toiletries are high quality. Plus, you can even enjoy sea views from the balcony – waking up to such a beautiful sight is truly therapeutic!

Hated this hotel, absolutely terrible experience!

First, let's talk about the service. The front desk staff were really awful. Not only were they cold, but their attitude was terrible. When I asked where breakfast was, they just vaguely pointed. Many people have complained about their bad attitude, but nothing changes; they act so superior. Checking in meant waiting in a long line, and after finally getting my room key, it was another long wait. When I was still packing to check out, they called to rush me about extending my stay.

The room itself was smelly, old, and damp, with facilities that looked like they were from the last century. As for the hotel's beach, there were fewer than 20 sun loungers, so you had to constantly queue to get one. Sometimes you'd wait all afternoon and still not find a spot. Meanwhile, the Ritz-Carlton next door had plenty of loungers, with many even empty.

I went to the breakfast buffet at 8 AM, and many stations were already empty, requiring a wait. The variety was poor, and the food was just not good. How can it be so unappetizing? It was far worse than the breakfast at a 700-yuan hotel I stayed at on my first day; it was truly dreadful and the selection was so limited.

The hotel food is also super expensive. If you order takeout, you have to walk hundreds of meters and go down two elevators to pick it up. Every time the delivery driver set off, so did I! 😂 Staying here was the biggest mistake! ❌❌❌

The public areas at Yalong Bay are truly stunning, not an exaggeration. The entire hotel is beautiful, making me want to stay forever. Just wandering around and seeing all the plants and animals was so therapeutic. The ocean view is incredible too; the water is crystal clear. We went on a sunny day, and it was truly a 'jellyfish sea' (meaning the water was so clear and blue it resembled jelly). We snorkeled by the beach and found lots of small shells, and even luckily spotted a hermit crab. The hotel staff were all very friendly, always smiling and greeting guests. A special shout-out to my butler, who was incredibly proactive and service-oriented! They upgraded our room and allowed us a late checkout, fulfilling all our requests. Huge thumbs up!! Next time I come to Yalong Bay, I'll definitely choose Hilton again!

The room was spacious with a fantastic balcony offering sweeping views of the hotel's stunning common areas and the endless ocean. The hotel has numerous pools, and their safety measures are top-notch, which really put this non-swimmer at ease! The private beach has incredibly soft sand, and the water is as clear and blue as a legendary glass sea – truly breathtaking. It's a perfect holiday destination; my 6-day, 5-night vacation ended perfectly here, and I can't wait to return!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Hilton Yalong Bay. I loved the hotel's decor, and the pool was beautifully designed and great for swimming, right next to the ocean. The hotel's location is convenient for getting to all the attractions. It's only a 10-minute taxi ride to the nearby Forest Park and about 40 minutes to the Underwater World. There's also a free shuttle bus to the duty-free city. In the evenings, there's a night market nearby for a stroll. The hotel also offers a wide variety of dining options, and they are all delicious, including a beachfront buffet dinner. The breakfast was incredibly rich and diverse, and the staff were all very enthusiastic. Plus, there's a small supermarket inside the hotel, and ordering takeout is convenient with dedicated delivery lockers. Overall, it's convenient, comfortable, and beautiful! We were also assigned a Guest Relations Manager, Zoey, who is a super attentive and lovely young lady! Her service during our stay was excellent, making our trip even more enjoyable. I'd love to have her assist us again next time we visit! I will definitely be back!
