This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, and the bathtub facing the floor-to-ceiling window was an amazing touch – the night view was stunning. The hallway was quiet, and the in-room amenities were complete and high-quality, even the complimentary water felt thoughtfully provided. The bathroom was spotless with a great wet/dry separation and no unpleasant odors. Service was prompt, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and upscale. Definitely the perfect choice for a business trip!

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. The gym well equipped, the staff always looking out for general wellbeing of guests and the room was amazing. Highly recommend.

The room was incredibly dated, and much of the furniture was damaged and worn. The sofa, especially, was a disgraceful mess, covered in unsightly stains and completely unpresentable. I'm appalled by how low Trip.com's standards for a 5-diamond rating have become. I certainly won't be trusting their services again.

The hotel boasts a great location, conveniently close to my client's office. The immediate area is well-served by numerous restaurants and convenience stores. The breakfast was plentiful and offered a good variety. The hotel itself provides a pleasant environment, is clean, and features comprehensive facilities. Overall, it's highly suitable for business travelers.

The primary reason for choosing this place was its proximity to home, as I wanted to take my kids, who were on holiday, out for some fun. Overall, it was a decent stay, though the room felt a bit small. The swimming pool was quite good, and the kids absolutely loved it. I also bought two garments at the silk special sale. It was a real pity that the children's play area was closed, so my kids didn't get to use it.

The breakfast at this hotel is absolutely fantastic! The variety is incredibly extensive, offering everything from various breads and pastries to traditional Chinese options like congee, steamed buns (baozi), and fried dough sticks (youtiao). They also provide fresh vegetables, fruits, and a wide selection of beverages, truly catering to diverse tastes and preferences. The food quality is exceptionally high, with all ingredients being incredibly fresh, resulting in a delightful taste and texture. The restaurant environment is also very comfortable and spotless. The tables and chairs are neatly arranged, and the soft lighting creates a warm and inviting dining atmosphere. The staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly. They consistently cleared tables promptly, replaced cutlery, and proactively asked about guests' needs, offering assistance whenever required. The entire dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The young lady at the front desk was very efficient with our check-in. Our room was spotlessly clean, and our whole family had a very comfortable stay. The service staff were also very prompt in delivering any requested items and incredibly friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. This is an excellent hotel, and we will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit.

The amenities, breakfast, and service of this hotel were all adequate and what you might expect for a hotel at this price point.

My too main issues center on the cleanliness and comfort of the room:

1.) The room furniture really shows its age/use/lack of cleaning. Both the couch and desk chair were extremely worn and dirty with visible stains throughout (pictures are attached to this review for proof). Because of this, I did not sit on either of them. It makes the room as a whole feel cheap, neglected, and like a lower-end budget hotel. The management needs to clean or replace these items ASAP if they want to maintain a high-quality image.

2.) Although it’s only May, it’s already quite humid and hot in Shanghai. It was super warm when I walked into my room, so I cranked the AC all the way down to 16–yet the room never cooled down a single degree! It was terribly hot and stuffy in the room all night and I had trouble sleep my comfortable due to the high temperature. Like the furniture, it seems like the AC unit needs either some maintenance or to be totally replaced.
