HanTing Hotel in Shanghai

The room was spacious and bright, the front desk service was friendly, and takeout can be delivered to your room by robot, which was very convenient.
The location is also great, with a direct bus service to the hotel entrance and commercial streets on both sides, making shopping very convenient. Metro City is also within walking distance.

Fantastic location and good service

The hotel is in a good location, less than a kilometer away from the Shanghai Stadium and close to the subway entrance. It is very convenient to stay here for concerts. The hotel facilities are also OK, and the rooms are very clean. But the service needs to be improved. I booked the room in advance very early, and it said that I could check in after 2 pm. I arrived at the hotel at more than 3 pm that day, and the front desk told me that the room had not been cleaned and I could not check in, and I had to wait for 40 minutes to an hour. If I paid the difference of 49, I could upgrade the room type and check in immediately. The so-called upgraded room type means an extra window and an extra breakfast. The lobby was full of people waiting to check in that day, and some people had even waited for an hour. Since it was promised that you can check in after 2 o'clock, but you can't check in after 3 o'clock, it means that there is a problem with the hotel management. If there are empty rooms, they should upgrade the room type for free. Because I was in a hurry to go to the concert, and it was very hot that day, I paid the difference and arranged for me to check in immediately. Although the difference was not much, it was the first time I encountered such a situation.

Room was ok for the price - a bit small, but had everything we needed for a night's stay. Breakfast was good - an ample amount of options to choose from.

The lobby environment is very good, the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is also delicious, and it is a buffet with many varieties. If you order takeout, it can be delivered by a robot, which is very convenient

Came to see Stefanie Sun's concert. The hotel is very close to the stadium. The front desk also prepared concert merchandise. It was great.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel room is clean .

the hotel stay is great. room was clean. shower head water pressure was strong. nice to bath.

the drawbacks - the distance from the metro to the hotel ( approx ＞ 10 mins walk ) and the basement of the metro to the city level 1, need to go up up the stairs. difficult for someone like us - with luggage and 2 baby strolley.

but overall still a great place to stay in.

We stayed in this hotel for more than twoweeks. The front desk manager 小丁 was always very king, hard working, and helpful. Everyone else was really nice too. The only complaint I have is that the room price fluctuate quite a lot from day to day and even within the same day which made booking my weeks long stay difficult and more costly. This is beyond the control of the staff of course. Would appreciate the booking system rewards longer stay.
