My stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The staff were excellent, especially one staff member who could communicate in English and was super helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy.
The location is fantastic! There are many restaurants nearby, including a halal restaurant right next to the hotel. A convenience store is just across the street, and it's only about a 7-minute walk to Metro Line 2. There's also a bus stop just a few minutes away, which made it really easy for me to explore Shanghai. I even took one bus directly from The Rockbund and another to The Bund.
The room was clean and, although a bit small, it was more than enough for a comfortable stay. They provide everything you need, towels, sandals, bottled water, even hair dryer!
I’ve already recommended this place to my friends.
In the early morning I found up even a pancake stall right beside the hotel, perfect for breakfast!
The room isn't completely soundproof, but overall it was very convenient and comfortable. Thank you again for a great stay!
The hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai and looking for a centrally located, reliable, and friendly place to stay.
There are lots of restaurants in the street that are open very late.
Reception staff is friendly and assists with any issues but does not speak english.
Facilities seem a little older but everything is adequately clean and functioning & you can see the place is well maintained.
There was room service every day, providing fresh towels, water bottles & cup, Toothbrush & slippers. They also emptied the bins/waste but did not make the bed.
Bed was comfortable and the blanket sufficient for winter temperatures. Also, the AC unit can be set to heating. The Hair dryer is very strong and there is free shampoo & body wash in the room.
Hotel has 6 floors which are accessible by stairs or elevator.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would come here again, however there seems to be a food place nearby and the smell is all over the hotel and can also be noticed in the room, which is not very appealing. Also, next to my room was a very load noise all through the night, like a washing machine or generator, which was a little annoying. Further the doors to the hallway don’t have good insulation and you can hear other guests coming in/talking but that was not too loud. I would still recommend the hotel :)
