Staff would not clean our table to sit down for breakfast so we cleaned it ourselves. Rooms very old and need refurbishment. Beware the shower in bath. It is very easy to slip over.
The service was an added bonus. A male intern at the front desk checked me in; he was enthusiastic and patient, and the check-in process was very efficient. He even specifically arranged a high-floor room for me. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors – I was very satisfied.
The overall ambiance of the hotel was quiet and elegant, with no noise, and the value for money was excellent. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose to stay here again next time. It truly deserves a five-star review!
This stay was, without a doubt, the most terrible experience of my entire travel life! The most infuriating part was the hotel's claim of "experiencing a pure good night's sleep" – it was pure false advertising, as getting any sleep was impossible.
After 11 PM, the central air conditioning for the entire building was suddenly turned off, and the room temperature soared to over 28 degrees Celsius. It was stifling hot, making it impossible to breathe, let alone sleep. I called the front desk multiple times to complain, and it wasn't until past 3 AM that the cooling was finally restored. What was even more ridiculous was the hotel's explanation: "some guests feel cold," so they arbitrarily shut down the AC for the entire building, completely disregarding the comfort of the majority of guests. Such a dismissive attitude is truly unacceptable.
The check-in process was equally abysmal. Before my trip, I specifically contacted the hotel about early check-in, and the staff explicitly said that checking in after 1 PM would be smoother. Yet, I deliberately arrived at the front desk at 3 PM, only to encounter an utterly chaotic check-in process. The front desk staff were flustered and hot-tempered, completely disorganized. We were forced to wait in the lobby for a full 40 minutes before finally getting our room key. Throughout this time, repeated inquiries about the progress only yielded evasive answers like "the cleaner is checking the room," with no specific waiting time given or any attempts to appease us.
From the dreadful night's sleep to the frustrating wait at check-in, there was absolutely nothing pleasant about this entire experience. This hotel completely disregards basic customer needs. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place and save yourselves the trouble!
