It was an ok hotel room. Not the cleanest, but almost clean enough. The room didn’t smell bad, but the smell from smoker neighbors would seep through sometimes and the towels had a faint cigarette smell.

The bed is very very stiff. I usually like hard beds, but this one was pretty extreme, only slightly more comfy than sleeping on the floor.

My door wouldn’t lock, the only security feature I had was the door chain.

The staff were very nice and helped me figure out how to make the ac work.

Generally, it wasn't a very good hotel experience. Hotel lobby was narrow and uninviting, lift was cramped and smoky. In the room, we found dead cockroaches in the toilet and the flush didn't seem to work properly. Bed sheets didn't seem to be changed at all and hotel staff also kept forgetting we had 3 guests - every night we had to go down and ask for one more. All in all, not a good experience.

Guys, I don't recommend booking this hotel. For a budget of 2500-4000, this was the worst. The walls are paper-thin, you can hear the lights in the next room, and even all the noise they make. They gave you two 0.5-liter bottles of water per day, no shower gel, soap, or shampoo, and the breakfasts were terrible. The tea and coffee selections were just boiling hot water with cabbage dumplings. The floors were cold, all tiled. The metro is a 15-minute walk away. The only positive was the pleasant steam nearby, and that's about it.

At 10:59, we went to the front desk to check in for a twin room. They then upgraded us to a family room. They said it was 80 yuan, but we had to pay 50 yuan because the ceiling was a little corroded and looked ugly due to the typhoon. Later, I saw on Ctrip that we were charged a lot of money and given a shabby room. The air conditioner at the entrance didn't blow at all. After contacting the front desk for maintenance, the engineer said that it was turned on for a short time. After half an hour, there was no wind speed at all. The air conditioner in the bedroom worked, which clearly meant that the air conditioner at the entrance was broken. There were two holes in the bath towel, and there was an unknown yellow liquid on the toilet and under the toilet seat. I don't know if they forgot to clean it, but the bed was clean and I slept very comfortably. Because I was in a hurry to leave in the morning and it was very late, I was too lazy to argue with the front desk. However, this stay was a very poor experience. The hygiene and facilities of this hotel are not worth 361 yuan at all.

On July 22, I arrived at the hotel entrance at around 9pm. There were many cars. Under the guidance of the hotel front desk, I parked the car at the entrance of the unloading passage and repeatedly confirmed that if I needed to move the car, please contact us. The front desk said no problem. As a result, I saw the car like this at noon today! I called the police on the spot. The police investigated the surveillance and found that it was done by his hotel staff. He did not admit it at the time. Everyone, come and get to know this excellent hotel! I can't imagine that there are such hotels and such low-quality people in Shanghai, a first-tier city! From beginning to end, no one admitted or apologized! No one in charge came forward to mediate! When I asked for their leader's phone number, they said they didn't know! See you at the police station!

I came to Shanghai for a May Day trip and found a hotel with a very high cost performance! The 1.2-meter bed in the room is just enough for sleeping, and you can see the scenery of Zhabei Park when you open the window~ The location is amazing, just a few subway stops away from People's Square and the Bund, and it is super convenient to travel! The hotel service is also very considerate, the front desk lady is enthusiastic and patient, the room is cleaned very cleanly, and it is super comfortable to stay~

Despite the language barrier, everything was really good. The room had a bit of smoke smell, but that is not their fault.
They were super kind and let us use their washing machine. We thought it was going to be quite far from the "city center" but it was good located. Only 10 minutes to the subway station, and from there 10 minutes to Shanghai Railway Station and around 30 for the bund.
