It's very close to the old town, but there are many stairs to the accommodation and there is no elevator in the hotel, so travelers with large luggage need to be careful.

The location was fantastic, and the accommodations were truly wonderful. It was great to be able to fully enjoy Split's charms from the center. I'd love to go back.

Because it's located in the old city, there's no parking and cars aren't allowed. If you have heavy or large luggage, the stairs to the hotel can be a bit difficult. What a lovely B&B! This B&B is located in Split's pedestrian zone, a 3-minute walk from the old town. We stayed in room 106, which is on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. The hotel reception is on the third floor. The restaurant downstairs has good food and excellent service. There's a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was average, but the ham was quite good. The potato rolls were also good. I would consider staying here again next time I go.

We stayed at the Hotel Salona Palace for two nights. The rooms are unfortunately a bit dated than expected; a renovation or a fresh coat of paint wouldn't hurt. The pool area is good, but there's a bee problem near the pool. Towels had holes in them, and spa towels weren't available in unlimited quantities. However, the price was fair. You can take an Uber to the center of Split for around €9.

Good location, private beach and bar. I missed some basic room amenities of a 4* hotel (curtains(!),kettle, glasses, iron,…) and the maintenance level (i.e.: the shower) is rather low. Nice place to live at during a stay at Brač. Big enough rooms, great AC (which is needed!). The water pressure is low but I guess that is due to the water shortage on the island.
