Atlantica SunGarden Beach in Ayia Napa

Arrived at the hotel late which meant we missed our evening meal and we were provided with sandwiches, fruit and cakes on our arrival,which was nice. Check in was very efficient. The room was spacious, clean and had afabulous sea view. Bed was very comfortable! Towels changed daily and room cleaned,beach towels provided in the room. The restaurant and bar service excellent, the staff are very friendly. The food is outstanding and I am a very fussy vegetarian. The drinks are very good, the cocktail list is very good. The frozen strawberry daiquiris were particularly good!! We had a meal at a la carte and it was amazingly good!! The Italian chef and his wife came out of the kitchen to greet guests, which was a nice touch. The waitress, Ana, was an absolute diamond, so smiley and welcoming and she couldn't do enough for you. What an enjoyable experience, one of the best a la carte experiences we ever had! The daytime activities were varied, I've particularly enjoyed zumba with Meta, as well as jenga and darts. She is very entertaining and we giggled a lot! Night time entertainment was good, particularly Natalie and Alex and Greek night with Maria!! They were so good, I danced all night!! The floor was filled with guests, they were so entertaining! The bar staff were very attentive, taking drink orders, we hardly ever had to go to the bar! From cleaners all the way to the management, the staff couldn't do enough for you. They worked incredibly hard to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. This was our first visit to this hotel and we will visit again, it's an amazing hotel in a brilliant location. Short walk from the hotel you can find an open air sculpture park which is worth a visit. Ayia Napa centre is within a walking distance from the hotel. Special thanks to Maria and George at reception who were always on hand to answer any questions we had,very helpful and professional. I recommend this fantastic hotel to adults as well as families. There are two adult pools and a bar if you fancy quiet area. The family pool is very nice and it had a bar as well as snack bar, which serves the most delicious snacks!! The children's club is excellent and the lady who is running activities there is very nice. I can't wait to be back in this lovely hotel and enjoy Cypriot coffee, expertly made by Christala,on the terrace with the breathtaking sea views. Thank you very much for the most enjoyable holiday and we will return to be spoiled again soon. Excellent hospitality!!

3rd time at this hotel and standards are still very high. It's a great hotel ideally placed with great views. It's staff are it's greatest asset though. Polite, helpful and genuinely happy to see and care for customers. Some staff we see from several years and the restaurant manager is a legend and shakes hands like an old friend. The food is probably the best we have experienced at any hotel, all inclusive or otherwise. I really do not understand why this hotel gets any negative reviews

The most amazing hotel. We arrived late at night and were met on reception by a lovely guy, sorry didn’t get your name, who told us the all inclusive bar was still opening and to get a drink and he would look after our bags. Once we had done this he personally escorted us to our rooms. The garden rooms were exceptional with lovely big balconies and sunloungers. Sandwiches and water were left in the fridge for us, along with a bottle of fizz. One of our party is a gym addict and he was was very pleased with the range and quality of the apparatus available. By far the best all inclusive food we have ever had, in terms of range and quality and general dining experience. Our rooms were spotless, well appointed and comfortable, with good quality towels. What really stands out however are the staff. All of which are friendly, helpful and always appear happy. We came 2 years ago and it is a testament I think that we recognised a number of them. Special mentions to Thomas (the most lovely, friendly helpful person ever) and Nikos in the bar (wouldn’t let you sit down for more than a minute before he was there with some coasters for your drinks), Lakis in the restaurant who always ensured the most amazing service (especially in the à la carte), the new bar tender Demetrius who was one of the best bar tenders I have ever seen, Barbara and Kamiri in the restaurant to name but a few - if I could I would name every one there. Lovely hotel, great location, superb food and cocktails. Just wish the pools were warmer at this time of year! Will be back

Our family have just returned from a week at Atlantica Sungarden Beach and had a great time. The location is fantastic - walking distance to the town and a bus stop just outside to get to Protaras. The beach is also just a two minute from the hotel and is spectacular, especially in mid/late afternoon when the sun is going down but the sea is still warm. The food in the restaurant was good and had varied choice but the themes (e.g. barbeque, Italian) didn't always come across. The drinks were good too and you can ask for large ones if you're not happy with the standard cup size. The two main negatives of the whole experience were check-in, as we were given no information so had to ask at reception for a lot of basic things that could have been covered in an information sheet. Also, the entertainment after the mini disco was bad in both the Amphitheatre and the main bar. This meant there was little to do/go with young children quite early in the evening. Overall though I would recommend the hotel especially in October half term.

This is quite a large hotel on the edge of Ayia Napa so is a great location for access to all facilities in the area. The surrounding sea, beaches etc are absolutely stunning and quite honestly you would be hard pushed to find anywhere more beautiful. The hotel is not new and there are some aspects of it that need upgrading. The mirror in the bathroom and the shower surrounds for example were rusty and need replacing. Our room was a large family room in one of the bungalows. It was an excellent space for our family of 4 and we had our own sunloungers and terrace. Food - not as good as the Atlantica Aqua Blue (stayed at Easter). I have a gluten intolerance and whilst this is catered for - for the evening meal, there were a couple of occasions where there was nothing I could eat from a protein perspective. The lunch menu was much better for this. Perhaps the hotels could share expertise as we never had this issue at the Aqua Blue. All inclusive drinks - both hotels are a 4 star and we came across some big differences at the Sungarden Beach. Basic spirits such as aperol, cinzano, martini etc were not included (they were at the Aqua Blue). Also the cup sizes of drinks round the pool were tiny and at one bar we were told that none of the drinks were included in our package yet at the other bar - everything was included. Very confusing. The cleanliness of our room was brilliant and we were very pleased with this aspect. However on the last morning (check out was 12 noon) the maid knocked on the door and entered our room at 8.40am to ask what time we would be leaving. My husband and children were dressing for breakfast and we told the maid 12 noon. She then continued all morning to follow us round (and repeatedly wished us a happy flight). My husband had to politely say 3 times that we were not finished in the room when he took two of our cases to reception. We wanted the children to use the pool one last time and we were in plenty of time returning for a quick shower before leaving. When we returned,again the maid was stood outside our room and at this point (10.50am) the room key had stopped working and she had to let us into our own room. I found this aspect very awkward and nothing I have experienced in any other hotel where usual practice is to leave well alone until the room is vacant. I appreciate what a difficult job they have to do and will just be being efficient however this spoiled our last morning somewhat. Overall a good stay however I think there are some aspects which could be improved and learning from a partner hotel.

We visit at this hotel in October 2025 and what a beautiful day he had a mixture between ages and family members which was great. We had the kids pool area and an adult only pool which was perfect for a mixed group. The food was probably one of the best all-inclusive I’ve been to And finally all the reviews I read say about the entertainment not being great. I felt like the mixture was perfect I have an inside lounge bar that live music every night and a kids mini disco. Also the room that we stayed in was amazing. I got married while I was on this trip from the bridal suite was perfect. Everybody had champagne when they first arrived Thank you again for a perfect stay

Lovely hotel food really good only thjng entertainment is awful could do with more entertaintment diring the day also but the evenings was shockin you would expect good entertainment considerin how busy tje hotel was staff very helpful and friendly

We chose this Hotel for a late getaway and were very happy with everything. The food was fresh and delicious and the service in the restaurant was outstanding. The pool area was clean and the view from the infinity pool was stunning. There was some confusion about how to change the pool towels over but there’s a new system being put in place so that may be sorted out by now. I’d definitely return here again.

Stayed here for 7 nights in May 2024, outside of England I’ve stayed at 12 different hotels and this one is the best by far. What an amazing and beautiful hotel this is. We stayed here in a group of 18, reception staff were friendly and check ins didn’t take long at all considering the large group and multiple rooms. Me and my partner stayed in one of the sea view rooms with the deck chairs on the balcony, it was very clean when we arrived and a very nicely decorated and modern room overall and the view from the balcony was stunning. The beds were comfortable and we also had a mini fridge and if I remember correctly the rooms were cleaned daily. The food in the restaurant was really nice and there was a good variety, they did themed nights so every day was different. There is also outside seating with a sea view. The al a carte restaurant was also beautiful and posh and the food was excellent. The indoor entertainment could’ve done with a bit more variety but we still enjoyed it, the bar staff seemed very happy and cheerful and you could tell they enjoy their jobs. The pool areas were always clean and the main pool itself was quite big and we had a good few times in there. The infinity pool is beautiful however ice cold so I couldn’t really enjoy that one too much. There is a beach which is about a 5 minute or less walk from the hotel and you can access it from the hotel grounds. On this walk there are grassy/garden areas which are nice to see and they are excellent for pictures with the sea in the background. The love bridge is also about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the statue park is across the road. Overall I absolutely loved this holiday and hotel, it’s stunning inside and out and I will definitely be coming back here one day. I 100% recommend this hotel, thank you Atlantica Sungarden Beach for the amazing stay.
