Grecian Bay in Ayia Napa

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was overall very friendly, especially Preet, the spa lady, and the ladies at the towel station. The beach is beautiful, but it can’t compare to the surrounding beaches with their clear water. Still, there is much more space here at the sunbeds. We usually book adults-only hotels, but thankfully there were only a few children 🙏 I loved the cats and hope they are well cared for during winter 🥺 I also really appreciated the art details throughout the hotel.

Before arrival, I asked by email about vegan options. On site, the announced vegan buffet on the main buffet turned out to be a gluten free corner with cornflakes and no vegan cold cuts. There were signs on items like bread and desserts indicating whether they contained milk or eggs, but a clear vegan logo would have been much more helpful. Plant based milk alternatives were available, but for anything else you had to ask the staff. Sometimes it seemed the staff didn’t clearly know the difference between vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free.

Preet was a big exception. She was incredibly attentive and proactive, recognized me on the second day, and made sure every morning that I received soy yogurt. Even when I asked someone else, she noticed immediately and stepped in. Preet should get a promotion, as she is a true example of excellent customer service.

In the hotel’s restaurants, vegan options were very limited. There is a vegan quinoa burger, but regular mayonnaise was just placed aside, which made me unsure whether the salad dressing is even vegan. Of course, I could have asked, but sometimes it’s just inconvenient and you don’t feel like doing that. It would make sense to offer complete vegan dishes. I would have loved tofu, both at breakfast and in the hotel restaurants, for example as a tofu wrap or many more dishes, as it is inexpensive, filling for the guests, and easy for the chefs to prepare.

On the positive side, Rapahels Restaurant was excellent, offering classic Cypriot dishes in vegan versions. Even if you are not vegan, the dishes are impressive! My boyfriend is not vegan and was amazed, too. We came back the next day. They even offered me vegan butter for the bread served with the starters, which was very kind and delicious. Highly recommend Rapahels Restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely full sea-view room (301). The housekeeping lady was always smiling and very helpful. Breakfasts are excellent and extremely generous — however, for a hotel claiming five stars, we were surprised that there was no table service at all, not even for coffee. The sunbed reservation system is a real highlight, making mornings much more relaxing without having to look for available loungers.

The front desk manager was professional and attentive, but the rest of the reception team was quite arrogant, which is disappointing and surprising from staff in such roles. Upon arrival, they gave me the wrong room and insisted it was the correct one — my sea-view room had actually been given to other guests, and I could only move into it the next day. Not ideal after a full day of travel.

In conclusion: it remains a good 4-star hotel, but certainly not a real 5-star, or at best a local 5-star standard.

Wonderful and luxurious. Massive beds. Very clean. Buffet breakfast for so many and all you could wish for. It's Aiya Napa, so you know what to expect with the busy beach. Reserving sunbeds was fine, do it on the first day and upgrade as people leave, and cocktails were great. Ate at the fish restaurant....excellent. Ate at the lunch and meat restaurant, also very good. Very relaxing. And thank you for looking after our son when he arrived back at 4am. The lovely doorman deserves the credit for that.

This place is a true hidden gem — the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy every moment. We stayed here for the first time in April and loved it so much that we immediately booked again for October.

The rooms are spacious, beautifully kept, and spotlessly clean. Everything — from the comfortable bed to the modern bathroom and the lovely balcony — feels just right.

The food is simply outstanding. We chose the B&B option so we could enjoy the fresh fish in their own seaside tavern, prepared to perfection by a wonderful chef. Sitting by the sea, watching the sunset, and tasting the catch of the day — pure bliss!

Everywhere you go, you’re welcomed with genuine smiles and warm hospitality. The staff are friendly, attentive, and truly make you feel at home.

We can’t recommend this place highly enough — we’ll definitely be coming back soon! 🌊✨

Very nice pool area, and the bar with the view over the beach, could spend hours there. Nice greenery. Very kind international staff serving us. Though the building is a bit dated.

I have been to the hotel many times. The best place in Cyprus. Right on a beautiful beach with more than enough beach chairs and umbrellas (belong to the hotel and you can even make a reservation of your favorite place if you wish for the whole length of your stay). Staff is above any expectations. The place is quiet, decent and welcoming as I only saw at other 5 star resorts.

Room was clean, the hotel itself was also nice and clean, but maybe nit the most modern interior.
