Where to stay in Protaras

Best hotel I’ve stayed after travelling for over a month. Great location for beach, restaurants and shops. Hotel is on the smaller side compared with the big ones in Protaras. Stayed here for one night, room was lovely and clean, pool was unusual as it has grey tiles and not the normal blue, but it’s great us of space. The hotel in on the ***** which is end to end with hotels and bars & restaurants. Great family place. Fig Tree Bay is less than a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast has lots of choice and seated by the pool was nice.

Great location, very clean, with a wide variety of options for breakfast. The staff was excellent and the value for money was outstanding. We stayed in building B, which was surprisingly quiet despite being right in the busy tourist area. The only small downside was the pool located between two buildings, but it didn’t really bother us since the beach is just a short walk away. Highly recommended!

Overall a great value for money hotel. Situated right on the Protaras strip, on the middle of plenty of bars and restaurants. Extremely clean, the rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day. We had a quiet room in A block, number 353 and stayed for 8 nights. The hotel is clean, the appartments large and the breakfast fine. The beach is cleaned regularly and there is an easy one hour coastal walk into Protaras. The building site of the new marina Hotel is not bothersome. Beach beds cost 7.50 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella. If you want to use the cooking facilities take some basic items...

We stayed at Myro Androu for a week and we loved it. The rooms were cleaned daily and the view overlooking the pool and ocean was beautiful. This was my second visit at the Proteas Mare Suites and would highly recommend staying at these lovely apartments. The apartments are very clean with all the required essentials you would need to make your stay very pleasant. Really nice place. The owners were very nice and very helpful. Location not too far to walk to Protaras *****, and also close to bus stops. Beach is nearby a 5 minute walk. There is a fridge, a hob, toaster, plates glasses , cutlery etc. Bed comfortable.

Excellent hotel for families. Large rooms with shower and kitchen. Quiet and nice atmosphere, high standard rooms. Excellent price for the night, very close to the sea and the famous Fig Tree beach. The service of the staff is personal and warm.

A facility for undemanding people. Good English breakfast in the Pig restaurant. Due to the low temperature of 18 degrees in February we did not use the pool.

Nice and clean, very basic and could probably do with updating. But perfectly cheap and cheerful for a bank holiday away. Pool/pool bar was good, Staff were helpful to. The restaurants nearby was probably the highlight being so close to the apartments.

Very nice food and location. Good value for money. The hotel's yard has a path between the houses that leads directly to the beach. You can get to the minimarket through the lobby via the indoor areas. A washing machine and tumble dryer that operate with coins. A practical choice if you don't need luxury.

Very good location. Close to the beach. They have a pool and a pool bar. Everyday, the room is cleaned and the stuff is there to really help. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. 3 min. away of Fig Tree Bay (maybe the most beutiful beach in Cyprus). The room was big and fully equiped and it has functional kitchen. A bit unorganised with the breakfast issue.. there isn’t a buffet, you have to pre order breakfast from the previous day! (We didn’t try it) Excellent location! We will definitely visit again!

In addition to the excellent location, I would like to praise the outstanding cleanliness. Towels are changed every three days and bed linen every five days. We will definitely be coming back next year.

We stayed here for 4 weeks and had a great experience. The staff were exceptionally helpful – they even replaced the mattresses upon our request, which we truly appreciated. Really nice apartment, 100% clean, I appreciate it very much. The bedsheets were the best I ever met on any traveling, and the scent was amazing 😍. Even the mattress was perfect, the best bed ever. The place is so nice, and have a special feeling. And the staff are incredibly kind, thank you very much. The beach is 3 min walk and u can find easy supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

As is described in the title they are beach apartments, very basic but an excellent location only 2 minute walk to the beach. Great for a few days but not long term.

Bedrooms have air conditioners, the kitchen includes hot plates and microwave. Despite our visit being in August, the area was very quiet. My only word of warning I would give is the parking.
