Emerald Suites in Protaras

Wow, an absolutely stunning 4 star hotel with beautiful rooms and communal areas. We were all Inclusive and although there wasn't as much choice food wise as what I have had at other hotels the quality there was brilliant. Full of flavour and a different theme every night. I am a fussy eater and there was plenty there for me to enjoy each night. I would much rather a few dishes done really well than an endless amount of bland options. We had one á la carte sitting included in our stay, the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly and the food was Absolutely outstanding! We had lunch at the snack bar most days so that we should stay by the pool. There wasn't a lot of choice compared to other hotels but the food was nice. The hotel benefits from an adults only pool which gets the sun most of the day. There were no 'sun bed wars' as there were plenty of beds. The night we arrived we realised that one of our parties rooms was set up as a double despite booking twin rooms there only a chaise to be used as a single bed. My mum being almost 70 would not have been comfortable on this but once we explained to the staff the management made sure that a single bed was delivered to the room that day. My only note would be that the hotel would benefit from zip and link beds which is standard in most hotels these days. We had a fantastic stay overall and I'm already looking to book again for later this year. Thank you to all the staff at the vangelis, we look forward to seeing you again soon!

With my family we visited Vangelis Hotel on May. Clean, cozy environment with a great selection of delicious food. Outstanding service at Venus restaurant and every other outlet with all the team serving us promptly, with a smile. A special mention and sincere appreciation to the manager overseeing all restaurants and bars. His presence, professionalism, and genuine hospitality truly elevated our entire experience. He was always visible around the service areas, ensuring everything operated perfectly while making every guest feel welcomed and valued. His positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond reflect exceptional leadership and passion for hospitality. A true asset to Vangelis Hotel.

Rooms are nice and clean ,the pool is nice, service was great and everyone is very polite and helpful, the food was also delicious

The hotel’s location was perfect – close to the town center and the most important beaches, which was a big advantage for us. The rooms were clean, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The food deserves special recognition – we have never eaten such delicious food in any other hotel, so huge compliments to the chefs! Unfortunately, the hotel entertainment did not meet our expectations. The activities were rather boring and did not encourage guests to participate. This was also influenced by the limited hotel infrastructure, especially the shape of the pool and the lack of a volleyball court. Despite these drawbacks, we rate our stay very positively and will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our family trip with our child, and I can honestly highly recommend it. The food was very good with a huge variety of dishes every day. Of course, some breakfast items were repeated, but honestly — who has such a big selection at home every morning anyway? Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The ladies and gentlemen in the restaurant were especially kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was great, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the pool. We were really happy with it. The only small downside was that the pool water was not heated. We visited at the end of April, so the pool was quite cold — actually, the sea felt warmer than the pool. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to other families.

It was our daughter's birthday during our stay, and they surprised her with a special gluten-free birthday cake! It was such a lovely gesture that made her day truly unforgettable. Dining & Dietary Needs: A huge plus for how they handle meals. The food in the restaurant was very clearly labeled for allergens, which is a massive help and provides peace of mind for anyone on a gluten-free diet. Atmosphere: We felt well taken care of throughout our entire stay. The whole team deserves the highest praise. Excellent location, room was excellent, food was good, would be excellent if a little warmer. Facilities excellent, and overall the staff made our holiday, so much so we are heading back in 4 weeks

Fabulous hotel. Spotlessly clean in all areas. The rooms are nicely decorated & spacious but we found them a little dark unless you have the curtains wide open. The food was the usual AI buffet style with plenty of choice but not very warm. The Al a carte restaurant was lovely. We found all the staff very friendly and polite. The entertainment programme is a little lacking, particularly if you have children, but we went at the start of the season, so that may be better in the summer. Plenty of sun loungers in the pool areas & we particularly liked the adult only pool. Great location, a stones throw from the ***** and beach. Bus stops 2 minutes walk away & very cheap public transport. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel & we will definitely return.

It was our first time in Cyprus. We are more than happy with our decision for Protaras and especially for Vangelis. The hotel ist not with direct access to the beach, but you only need to cross the road. The whole team is extremely friendly. Their service and support was always at highest level. Many thanks to Dheeraj, who is working at the reception. He made our holidays so comfortable. We will come again to Vangelis.
