Avlida Hotel in Paphos

First of all I have to say that we really enjoyed our stay here! All the staff members are doing an amazing job, the ones that really stood out for us were Henry, Nesim, Chet, both entertainers and of course our chef Emad! But having said that, all the other staff members were great too! Food was great! Entertainment was nice and the drinks at the bar were delicious! Thank you all at Avlida Hotel for the great experience!

It‘s a nice clean Hotel with well equipped rooms.
It’s located next to the Tomb of Kings and the beach is not to far.
The staff is really friendly and always tries to help you or brighten your mood.
The Bar is a lovely place and the bar staff is always so friendly. Big shout out to Chet and Mehedi.

The entertainment they offer is great as well. Especially Daniel, he does a great job and it’s always nice meeting and talking to him.
There are live shows and events every evening. A nice way to spend the evening.

Lovely, helpful staff at the front desk. The breakfast was not very good — the eggs felt old, and the coffee wasn’t good either. The rooms are spacious, with two beds and a sofa, large mirrors, towels changed daily, and toiletries replenished every day. There is a pretty view from room 216.

The hotel has an old-fashioned 1980s–1990s design, but it is very clean. It’s about a 2-minute walk to the central bus stop, around 35 minutes to the harbour, and a 45–50 minute walk to Cyprus Mall. If you like walking, this place is for you. I personally enjoyed walking every day to the main beaches, the bus station, and the mall.

The hotel employs many people from India, which makes it a very cheerful and extremely friendly place.
will I stay again, no next time I will choose hotels in front beach. Do I reccomend no if you are sensitive for noise low class guests from UK and Poland make a noises on the floors. Its really loud.

We made the perfect choice staying at Avlida to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in Paphos.

We went all inclusive and spent most of the time inside the hotel, didn’t eat out/go to any bars once (even though we planned to before the trip) - we had it all at Avlida.

Location - fantastic, opposite the ‘Tombs of the Kings’ and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Scooters available to rent & local busses running frequently.

Food - Outstanding. Well-cooked, huge variety and enough to keep us going all through the day.

Drinks - from 10am-11.45pm we were covered with juice, alcohol, hot drinks etc. Plenty of choice to keep us happy, only had to buy bottled water when we left for the beach.

Entertainment - Cosmin is a one-man army making sure every guest is happy, from Karaoke to crossbow shooting and even fire-eating, he does it all. Live musicians twice a week had everyone on the dance floor too.

Staff - Exceptional. Gobinda with his warm & friendly greetings which always made us feel loved, Chet with his infectious smile and bubbly energy, Nasim’s kindness and positivity, and George the hands-on bar manager who ensures his guests are happy, just to name a few, made our stay feel personal and special.

Receptionists/checking in and out - Very friendly service at all times, smooth and fast proceedings even when it was busy as they had multiple staff on the desk and kept smiling.

The hotel is older, but has a nice view from the balcony, and the rooms are bright and spacious. Evening entertainment makes your stay even more enjoyable. There's a large swimming pool, plus an indoor and well-equipped gym.

We had an amazing time at Avlida Hotel. The rooms are big and cleaned daily. Food is very good and lots of choice. Every evening they have shows and bingo. A special mention to the entertainment manager Cosmin. Thank you Avlida for a great holiday!

Our second time coming to the Avlida hotel and I don't think I would stay at any other hotel in Cyprus!

Me and my partner visited last year as well and had the best time so we came back. We once again went all inclusive. We arrived quite late due to when our flight got in, and when we checked in we were given some water and sandwiches since we had missed the dinner, which was very kind!

The staff were so amazing! The lovely ladies/men at reception were more than happy to help whenever you needed it.

Chet the barman remembered us from our last stay. He was so friendly and someone who you could have a laugh with. George the barman was also amazing. Both made amazing cocktails and mocktails. All the other bar staff were also great, all very chatty and friendly.

Henry from the servers team was so attentive, always asking us how we were and checking in to make sure we were having am amazing holiday. All the other servers were also fabulous! They were always smiling and always greeted us with a hello.

And I cannot forget the amazing entertainment team! Cosmin always made sure we were having fun and offered so many fun experiences; including water polo and water aerobics in the pool, as well as cross bow shooting which was a lot of fun to take part in! And he is a mean fire breather! I couldn't believe how talented he was.

And Panni, though she was new to the team as Cosmin mentioned, is so sweet and kind. I cannot wait to see her shine as she learns more. I genuinely couldn't believe that she had only been part of the team for a short five days! I want to give her so much praise for how confident she grew even in the few days we were at the hotel. From manning the DJ booth to selling Bingo tickets, she was always doing it with a smile. Great job Panni, keep it up! Panni is also head of the kids club! We dont have children so I cannot comment on it, but from what I've seen Panni does an excellent job of playing with and watching the children.

Overall the Avlida hotel deserves the highest praise. Every one of the staff makes sure you are taken care of.

As for the rooms they were excellent for what me and my partner needed. Some may argue they were a bit outdated, but for us they were only used for watching Netflix before bed and showering in the mornings so it was fine for what we needed. They were always very clean with fresh towels and bedding whenever you needed it.

The TV is a smart TV which means you can get Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime etc. and Netflix logs you out every time you leave the app unless you change the settings so no forgetting to log yourself out!

We have had the best experiences at the Avlida each time we have been to Cyprus, and if/when we return, this is the only hotel we will stay at.

I have had a fantastic time away for 1 week at Avlida. The rooms were spotless. The service was fantastic and we had bed and breakfast, -which was delicious. All of the staff were fabulous, and George on the bar made fabulous cocktails in his office and made our holiday along with Eve. We will return for sure.
