La Boutique in Prague

Stayed 4 nights (incl. breakfast) and would not return. We were not placed in the booked hotel but in an old, poorly maintained neighboring building. Age isn’t the issue — dirt and neglect are. The bathroom was in bad condition (cracked sink, dirty shower corners).
Reception was unhelpful: we were told we could leave if we didn’t like it. A promised cleaning never happened.
Only positives: good location and nice weather — we avoided the hotel as much as possible.
Avoid this place.

Very nice hotel but let down by the manager and the night receptionist's atrocious customer service. The heating in my room was broken and the manager promised to fix it. When we came back to the room that night, it was not fixed so I went to the night receptionist (Adam) and he just dismissed the whole thing saying that he wasn't told anything and just asked me to apply for compensation and proceeded to put in his airpods. He looked like he did not want to be there and didn't make any attempt to hide it. I mean, no one is forcing him to work so if he hates his job that much, look for another job!

I told him that I don't want compensation and asked for another room so that my pregnant wife and I could atleast have one good night's sleep after the long day that we had. In the morning, I went to the manager to complain about Adam and the manager didn't even look at me and said that he has a lot of work to do and he doesn't have time to deal with me because he had to deal with the 'bloody italians'. He said that he and Adam were overworked and asked me to talk to the travel agent about any complaints! I booked directly and there was no travel agent involved! I was sooo put off by his behaviour as he was just looking at his computer screen whilst saying everything. there were 2 other guests behind me as well which was very embarrassing so I just gave up and checked out. Will never be coming here again!!

Reception and check-in are in the hotel main building which is ok. But trip.com rooms are given in another building about 5min walk. Also, it is quiet building. Not recommend for solo or female traveller. Breakfast is reasonable with sufficient spread and choices.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below basic expectations.

First of all, there was no complimentary drinking water provided in the room, which is something you’d expect even in the most basic accommodations. All the bathroom sinks were broken, making it very inconvenient to use the facilities. On top of that, there was no bathroom slipper provided, which is a basic hygiene necessity, especially when the cleanliness is questionable.

What made the stay even worse was the behavior of one of the female receptionists. She was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and had a very nasty attitude. Her manners were unacceptable and honestly made me feel very uncomfortable. It’s disappointing to encounter this kind of treatment from hotel staff, especially at the front desk.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. It lacks the most basic amenities, the facilities are poorly maintained, and the customer service was terrible. Save your money and find a better place to stay.
