Great little spots along the pool to eat and drink so you don’t have to go far. We will be back with our kids next time. I am so happy we came here! Thank you all!

The excellent service and quality of their hotel facilities. As well the quite and peaceful in the pool or beach area. The restaurants were also amazing with a great varity.

This was my first trip, my first resort and my first time outside of Canada. I am so happy, this resort was so amazing

Friendly staff, energetic and actually loved their jobs (or are good at faking it haha) The food was amazing and no shortage of it! Drinks were great and very fast service. The pool is perfect for kids and adults

However, many other staff members were less engaged and not particularly friendly (especially at the pool side bars). So, the overall service experience was less than expected with a couple glimmers

What we also noticed was that he treated all the other guests around us with the same positive attitude and kindness. Team members like Maireni make a big difference to the guest experience

This was my second Air Canada booking (and my last one in Mexico, in a resort recommended by Air Canada was an absolute disaster!) and I began to worry that I had done the same mistake again (especially when I vowed I would never ever do an Air Canada vacation again)

We loved our two-week stay at the hotel. All the staff were friendly. The negative reviews are unfounded and dishonest. I would return without hesitation, even though this is our fourth trip to the Dominican Re

I prefer to be able to walk from my room to the restaurant or the gym or the beach. I do not want to wait in the hot sun for the carts that drive you around

You will most likely need to use the complimentary transport service they offer at the resort. It is at least 1/4 mile from the main lobby to the beach

This guest was approaching other guests trying to start a fight and your security did nothing. Your life guard was the ONLY person that physically stopped this drunken guest by holding him in a full Nelson

My husband and I stayed at the Bahia Punta Cana to attend my friend's wedding The good: The grounds are clean and beautiful

Our first night at the Excellence El Carmen we ventured into the Agave restaurant. My wife and I had a table outside overlooking the resort. The food was outstanding, courtesy of Chef Alvin. And the service was top-notch

This this is only my second time out of the country and my first time in Punta Cana and 1st all inclusive. My experience has been great so far. The room was great tho I wish I would have sprung for the beach view

The resort truly lives up to its name, providing an experience of pure luxury and relaxation. What really made my trip special, beyond the stunning facilities and beautiful grounds, was the incredible service

I’ve only tried 2 restaurants here so far but what I’ve tried at Oregano and The Grill has been decent. Wish I would’ve come with someone but Overall I will be coming back

My recent visit to Excellence El Carmen was absolutely phenomenal, exceeding all expectations! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that everything here is top-notch

My view is still great but nothing beats a beach view. The give you a glass of champagne when you arrive. There was a bottle of champagne waiting for me in my room

Our stay was ok, only issue we had was them not having our room we booked available on checkin

I believe that is due to the fact that they allow people to upgrade when they arrive and don’t prioritize those that have these rooms already booked

So we had to pack up and change to our booked room the next day which was a bit of a hassle

A few amazing staff members from the Buffet, Esperanza, Martha, the juice bar lady and some of the cook line folks -Thank You for treating us like family ! Great entertaining group ! Thx for spaghetti for taking the time to get to know you better

While this kind of behavior might unfortunately be expected outside the resort, it is completely unacceptable from people operating inside the hotel. This experience seriously affected our sense of safety and trust

The pools are great, warm and they have activities in the pool to keep you entertained during the day. Though the floor is very crumbly and paint chipped everywhere but doesn’t ruin the overall experience of the pool

The nightly shows were very entertaining - like having our own Coco Bongo experiences! They have an entire team dedicated to entertaining the guests with games and parties, so much to do! The food was fantastic - 5 restaurants to choose from and we never had the same thing for dinner twice! Can’t wait to come back!

The towel cabana worker is a bit of a grouch, but it is easily made up for by the service of Edwin and Yohanny (two of the bartenders). Can't state my appreciation for those two enough

The entertainment team was a true highlight: Panda, Honey, Hot Chocolate, Francis, and everyone else made every day so enjoyable and were so energetic that it was hard to not want to jump into their activities

We requested extra towels as we were two people sharing the room, but they could never get it right

I loved eating the Dominican food that was at the buffet, it truly opened my eyes to new flavors and tastes that I want to recreate at home. The food can sometimes be hit or miss at resorts, but this was an absolute hit

Wonderful experience for a family vacation. Teppanyaki at Ma+Suri, and Le Gourmet are the best restaurants here. The buffet food is average, nothing phenomenal, but nearly on par with any buffet back in the states

Honestly, I would like to give more positive feedback and review but I had better experience in 3 or 4 stars hotels around the world

I can't say enough at how wonderful the people treat you here

Majority of staff do not speak (or don't want to) basic English, so if you don't speak Spanish - you better find other place

Food identification is a guess game, probably 50% of food was not marked what it was, doesn't matter if it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. Good luck if you have an allergies, you will need it

My friend and I had a great time at GP Bavaro Suites. It's a beautiful place with a nice stretch of beach and numerous pools to enjoy. We indulged in the luxury and friendly service we received.

The pool bar on the swimming pools are a must, you can enjoy having a drink while swimming. Ronald and Adrian, the guys there, are great Ambassadors of DR, telling us about the traditions

There were free drinks all days and nights, and A LOT of entertainments. I met new friends because of the entertainments. The only things I had a little issue with was the beds

Had a very good stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, the food is delicious, and the entertainment was really well done. The staff were generally friendly, although some could be a bit more attentive

The food was amazing (only tried Food market, beach house and the sports bar for food) I didn’t even feel like trying the restaurants because Foodmarket was that good in my opinion

The facility was good but the service was sometimes slow and needed to wait for a long time.

Property was great with a beautiful beach. Food was meh but very passable

Probably the best bartender I’ve had at any resort. Israel at the buffet was another awesome server. Again, incredibly friendly and hardworking. Made sure you got everything you needed asap and did so without issue

José at the steakhouse was fantastic. Worked non-stop, super polite and friendly and made our kid smile to no end. And Sonia, our room staff, was an absolute sweetheart

The drinks are horrible, the pool bar has always a line of people waiting to be served. The beer is cheap swill and so are the drinks. Pina Coladas that just don't taste right

Family friendly hotels are usually a crap-shoot, but this one was nicer than anticipated. Food was great, resort was great and staff were excellent

Every day felt like paradise and unforgettable memories we will cherish for a lifetime! Whether the case may be relaxing by the ocean or enjoying the pool! 5/5 - AMAZING!

Could use more towels more frequently (often had to wait for them). Ladies room could use more frequent servicing. All in all, our experience here was very positive; the food was fabulous and varied

He took matters into his own hands and personally walked us to our room and I was so grateful. He apologized for the room check in issues but I got no real explanation as to what happened

We got the run around after I refused to take two twin beds that we were being offered by the front desk so I feel like I was “black listed” by the front desk team as a result

My room wasn’t cleaned for two days and I was told it was as because I didn’t ask for it to be cleaned by pushing the button near the front door

It wasn’t until a concierge manager noticed us waiting in the lobby and commented how long we were waiting did we get our room

It took hours to get our room despite having a butler (whom was not able to effectively execute on any request I had for her)

As an ******* member I was told early check in would be an option- again didn’t happen for us

The pools were always clean and beautiful, with a special mention to The Reserve pools, which were absolutely stunning and peaceful

We stayed in the Reserve, went to the beach reserve and Martin was fantastic! Every morning heading down to the beach, he made sure we had an amazing view of the ocean and had the drinks coming! I would definitely ask for Martin when at the Reserve Beach! Irvin was our concierge, he was also just as amazing! Super relaxing hotel, nightly entertainment that was relaxed and fun!

Our stay at Paradisus Palma Real was truly exceptional and far beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, every single employee stood out as professional, and incredibly helpful

The service is very hit or miss here. The entertainment is also minimal and we had no idea what the schedule was since the app didn’t work. There was also no waiter service around the pool or beach

The room cleaning service did an outstanding job every single day, keeping everything perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff in the restaurants and buffets were excellent as well

We would like to give a special mention to Salvador, reservation, what a truly professional, caring person, He genuinely cares about guests, wants you to love DR,representing the hotel at the highest level

The hotel grounds beach pool were beautiful, the rooms were average, beds not that comfortable, low grade finishes in bathrooms and rooms, the restaurants were average, but the food buffet (breakfast dinner) was excellent with plenty of variety

New years eve Party was family friendly and a 10! Very fun and lively and free for guests. Scuba caribe snorkelling was great

The room was clean and modern. The staff were amazing, attentive and polite and the food was good. I’d definitely stay at another RIU.

I have been to newer RIU properties for eg RIU Ocho Rios in Jamaica and it was beautiful there. But RIU Punta Palace is nice too. But not as new as RIU Ocho Rios. Still enjoyed my time because the staff was wonderful

Over all the resort was great! The food was good! Customer Service was outstanding! The only thing the WiFi wasn’t that great. The Riu party was lit we definitely had a time! I would definitely stay again!

The rooms could use some updates and remodeling but the friendly staff, sense of security, beautiful grounds, beach access, peaceful ambiance, fun entertainment and yummy food make it all well worth a visit! My family had to leave the resort we originally booked at because it was unsafe, dirty and absolutely horrible

Thankfully Jewel had vacancies on such short notice and we were able to book a room the very same day for the rest of our trip. We met guests that had stayed there before

But if you just love floating in the pool and drink and eat good food go here. The staff is super friendly and the resort is just gorgeous can't explain. I hope mother nature does her part and cleans the beach

Jewel palm beach must have the friendliest staff in all of Punta Cana! As soon as you arrive, the security verifies our booking at the front gate

Then as you drive up to the lobby entrance, the men that help you with your luggage greet you with smiles and warmth. The same friendly energy is felt all throughout the resort

Evening entertainment is captivating. Sports competition is fun way to intermingle with other people. Best part is 24 hr coffee shop with good snacks

Other than that, most staff were very friendly, as a woman i noticed I was treated poorly by some women staff while my husband had no issues at all

It's nice to be able to get pizza and have hot sandwiches made fresh pressed poolside over at the other Catalonia

Absolutely amazing high recommend it had everything you needed right on the resort without a doubt I will be returning back

Final Thoughts: The staff made this trip unforgettable—from the warm greetings at the entrance to the attentive service at reception, housekeeping, pool bar, coffee shop, and restaurants

Pool & Entertainment: The pool area was lively, featuring a swim-up bar and daily entertainment. If you want a shaded spot, go early and reserve it with your belongings

Dining: Buffet options were somewhat limited, with a heavy focus on pork and fish. If you don’t eat pork, your choices may feel restricted, and steak or other meat dishes were rare. That said, the food was tasty overall

Good stay if on a budget & want to get away, service was friendly, sometimes a bit slow; room was clean upon arrival but during our stay it could have been better stocked in the bathroom, grounds, pool, and beach all very clean; bar staff below La Mexicana were Espectacular( Manuela & José (?); he’s been there 10years!) Main buffet was good- you must make a dinner reservation for all other restaurants...

Beach is perfect pools are great. Bathrooms could use updating but room was perfect for 2 friends. Buffet needs help was not a fan very little flavor but you can survive. restaurants are amazing we went to 4

The hotel is more on the older side however they do a good job to maintain the the grounds clean and offer great amenities like towels, entertainment and food. The restrooms need a little more attention

All of the pools were awesome. They need to lend out Different kinds of floats or let visitors know before they get there that they have to bring their own

Pool and beach are beautiful, and rooms are clean. Only negative is it’s very hard and almost impossible to get restaurant reservations

The grounds, beach, and pools were well maintained and beautiful. Food was good and alot of variety at the buffet

They really have the patience of saints! They made the pool bars fun and made excellent drinks! Kelvin at the bar in the theater was THE SWEETEST! He was very friendly, had the best smile and always had our drinks ready for us

King size bed, 2 bathrooms, stand up tub, separate shower, 2 TVs. crazy! We also had a swim up room which was amazing. Pool right outside our room, lounge charirs, swim up bars, lounging coverded beds, etc

He made us feel truly special and it was so nice meeting him. We will look for him every time we go! Luis, Jimy and Charley at the adult pool bars were phenomenal

He even checked to make sure we got home safely. I would recommend him 1000 times again! Jency! He looked for us every morning for breakfast and we were lucky enough to have him as our waiter for dinner a few times

Everyday was full of sunshine and beautiful weather. Beach was gorgeous and clean clear waters. The whole resort was nicely laid out and every area was beautiful and nice detail. Restaurants and food was good

This would be our first time in Punta Cana and all inclusive. Looking for something all inclusive and adults only. After looking at different resorts, reviews and even YouTube videos

Great first trip to this resort. Check in took awhile as the room was not ready when we arrived, but they sent us to go get drinks/ food at the beach. Love the long pools as it spread out guests

100% recommendable! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always smiling. They even gave us a complimentary late check-out because our flight was very late. A big thank you to all the staff.

Always had a pick of sun loungers! Food at the buffets were good and lots of options especially for vegetarians ( which is usually hard to find at these resorts)

I don't remember the name of the person at the reception who changed our hotel but we'd still like to thank him. It's also worth mentioning the drinks at the bars, which were of excellent quality and the very clean pools

During my stay (November 26 – December 2, 2025), I became seriously ill with severe stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea, requiring medical attention

The best resort I've ever stayed at!!! I booked the Majestic Elegance but at the reception I was given an upgrade while staying at the Majestic Mirage, simply SENSATIONAL

We accidently balled up swim trunks into dirty towels and the gousekeeping staff found them and brought them back to our room

the staff was excellent - curteous and attentive to our needs. The room was beautiful and always kept clean. lots of delicious options and flexible to my famiy's dietary restrictions. Overall, the resort was wonderful

The room was a preferred swim out it was clean and private adult only building. Perfect for couples. The food was good, staff was attentive and the grounds were well kept. I would definitely go back!

We arrived late in evening, staff is limited but we were able to get our room quickly. At the start, we received room on first floor and was very nice, renovated and clean but a few cockroach in our room

He helped arrange transportation and was always checking in to see if we needed anything. Luisito also had a fun little greeting he would do when he saw us a cheerful “cucú!” which always made us smile

We truly appreciated his care and attention during that time. We felt comfortable every single day because of him. We can wholeheartedly recommend Jose Luis Rodrigue — he does his job with so much care and kindness

He always made sure our room was perfectly clean and tidy, and he did his work absolutely spotless every single day. He was especially wonderful with our children — always friendly, warm, and playful

It became something we looked forward to hearing when we saw him travelling around the resort in his cart. Staff like Luisito really make a vacation memorable. Thank you for a great experience!

Great drinks!! We stayed in the Tierra suite and it was amazing, private pool and beach front. Our mayordomo was awesome, David C. & Angelo at the beach service was amazing as well

A special shout-out to Delvin, the manager of the pool area, whom we’ve known for many years from our previous visits to Dreams. Seeing him again made the trip even more special

After COVID, we finally returned to celebrate my birthday and decided to stay at Live Aqua and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful and very clean, and the weather during our stay was perfect

The only downside was room service food was not good and not enough breakfast options, just one buffet and we felt the food there was always cold. All other restaurants for lunch & dinner were awesome

He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience—from helping with food and accommodations to making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay

The food was excellent, and one highlight was the authentic Dominican food that Delvin arranged for us through one of the hotel’s chefs—it was outstanding

Not only does the entertainment team work their butts off on stage, but they run around running activities throughout the day, with enthusiasm, while also having a bit of time to stop and say hello; a fist bump or a high five with a big smile

com provided amazing customer service when I needed to make changes to the guest name on my reservation prior to my arrival, they went above and beyond to make this happen

This is our second year in a row visiting and I think we’ll be back next year. Kids love it and the second year was even better, we easily acclimated and jumped right in with an excursion in buggies, second day there

Water slide and lazy river area is fantastic and well staffed observing safety etc. Eateries by the pools are perfect for a quick meal. Whomever designed this place from Hyatt, fantastic job

The beach has a waves but we actually had fun staying close to shore and jumping whenever the waves pass. The resort is not too large, but also not too small
